I started with a sweet girl who was newer. She was helping me then a young man came in deciding she needed help. He was so rude to her. Made me feel uncomfortable. When I asked him a question he gave me the biggest EYE ROLL! I went nuts on him. I don't allow my grandkids tho treat me like that I wasn't going to let him. Gate cards still don't work. Alarms going and won't turn off. I've been in the office 7 time to correct stuff. It was a horrible . experience. Still not sure what I was charged. I need to contact my card company. I had two u hauls and should have gotten one month free for each of my storage units. I can't wait to get my stuff out of there. Unfortunately, I could not rent the available u-haul at the location I initially made reservations at, because the gas cap was missing. They found another u-haul that was 17 mins away from the location I needed to rent from. The customer service at both locations was friendly, however, it was not explained to me that there would be no ramp with the size truck I rented. I made it clear that I would be transporting large appliances, and rented an appliance dolly as well. Overall, it was just inconvenient, but tolerable. Also, on the drive home, the tire monitor service light came on. Luckily, we were 15 mins from home and was able to park it safely. The following day, the check engine light came on as we pulled into the drop off location, 5 mins from our house.FREDRICK W.

I over filled my tank (because I was on a work phone) by over all additional quarter tank. I did not ask for any reimbursement for that. However, I went over estimated prepaid mileage by six miles. Given how significantly I was over in refilling the gas, I asked if they could wave the $9 mileage fee. They said no, that they get audited and would get in trouble, it's in my contract, etc. Given I was a recurring customer each month since August at this location (spending around $1,000) one would think appropriate customer service would result in a very minor discount. Of course the legalese is what the contract says, but morally that decision what not on his side, let alone the customer service aspect. It was nine dollars, and the point of it was the issue vs the materiality - I know a credit memo or minor discount is possible (I'm a CPA and auditor for over 20 years). I will never use Uhaul again - I'm moving on to a competitor that can understand legal vs moral decisions.William R.
I would absolutely recommend the U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Temecula on Jefferson Avenue and I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars. When we moved to this area, our household goods were coming in from overseas and I knew we would be requiring more space. I began checking out self storage companies and looked at several including a big fancy looking facility close to our apartment. Although it was nice and pretty clean, after I visited the U-Haul in Temecula there was just no comparison for me. The manager, Art Guerra III runs this facility with great organization, impeccable cleanliness and excellent customer service. You may think I'm exaggerating or a relative but I am neither. There is a very sweet woman that works there who keeps everything down to the unit doors sparkling. Honestly, you could eat off the floors, It amazes me EVERY time I go there. There are 2 HUGE truck sized garage doors for unloading and picking up which makes it very convenient and comfortable should the weather be hot or raining. Inside they have large moving carts and dollies available for your convenience. They also have EVERYTHING you would require for packing and moving including of course the U-Haul trucks. If you are moving to Temecula or the surrounding area and want to store your belongings someplace with the confidence that they will stay clean, safe, secure and have customer service you feel good about, this is THE place to go.Judy B. | First Impressions

The guy who helped was rude. Truck was dirty on arrival. Wasn't the truck I reserved. I reserved a 26â€ and was told It wasn't available then I was told I was getting a 15' and I was given 17'. So we had keep the truck longer. And that was money I didn't have for a truck. My experience was terrible! And then I was charged by the mile and this location was 21 miles away!Stormie M.

The drop off location was spotless the girl that helped me seemed to be by herself. She got to me fast and the hole drop off took maybe 5 minutes and painless. For the first time user, more explanation is needed. For example tow button is not familiar to normal first time user. And it makes a truck go slowly and use more fuel. Though There is sticker for the button, it will be better for agent to give short instruction how to turn it off.Jaehyuk C.

Just for UHAUL in general: Your prices online are misleading. You don't include taxes in the quote, that added $75 to the price of the rental. The truck came with less than 1/8 of a tank of fuel, within on ten minutes I had to stop and get fuel, that is unsat. UHAUL should have a policy to give only trucks with full tanks. I was told that if I returned it with more fuel I would revive a credit, that was not true. I asked what the MPG was on the truck and the rep couldn't tell me, that adds another stressor to the people moving, not knowing how far you can go. It should be easy to have an estimated miles per tank on the website and on a sticker in the truck. The truck was obviously newer with only 50k miles on it, but UHAUL disabled or purchased a model that doesn't show the mile range on the display. Every thing else was to expectation.Jason H.

Instead of friend greeting on duty person stated there were no available units even though I had a reservation, 2 days prior I received a call asking for confirmation, day before I had confirmed again when renting a van. After check he provide d paperwork and access card a stated he would meet me at the unit. I went to untit saw a tag indicating Not clean Do Not Rent. I returned to desk where employee was helping another customer. I accepted the marked unit after the desk person pointed out he would not have any cleaning staff till after the holiday. The staff, in particular Mr.Keith Lenz, Robert Walsh have been so courteous and kind and understanding my being stranded in Canada and why and I appreciate they are men with empathy realizing how important are ones personal possessions and not to lose them. This facility was so much better than I expected it to be! We moved in on a day where the temperature was over 100 and expected it to be a miserable experience. Instead we were able to back our U-Haul truck under one of their carports, use their many pull carts, which was great because we had a lot of boxes! And there were automatic doors that were motion sensored as we had to go in and out several times. And finally the whole facility was climate controlled so it was so much cooler than we expected! There was a nice bathroom facility and the whole place was so clean! The manager was super busy, yet he still took the time to show me how to unlock everything and use the automatic alarm and entrance.
