The staff when I pick up the trailer was rude. He was irritated he was printing out the paper work, and complaining about his NOT getting paid fairly. He was giving me sarcastic comments and told me that he want to close early so ge can clean the haul trucks. When we about tho hitch the trailer. I have the wrong size hitch ball. I told him I will be back in 30 min, and he sarcastically told me that if I don't see you, I will cancel the transaction, at this point I was irritated the way he talk to me and told him. I will be back and I better have that trailer. When I came back I told him I'm ready, and again he spoke very rudely that I have to wait because he was with a customer. However one of his team member saw ma and help me right away, the rude guy walk away and I have to go down to get my paper work. That he was holding the whole time. First off, I was forced to go to this location as the desired location told me I was at the wrong location. I originally made the reservation for the trailer on the phone requesting the Murrieta location. When I arrived at the Murrieta store I was told "you came to the wrong store". He then proceeded to tell me I did it wrong. He then said they don't have what I wanted available even though there were 2 in the lot. I then had to travel to the next city over in rush hour traffic to pick up at the store the customer service rep incorrectly reserved the trailer at. This is not my first unpleasant experience with Uhaul and could be my lastASHLEY C.

I moved out on the third of the month (notifying staff of my vacancy physically, electronically, and by phone) and was still going to be charged on the 28th. Which I also asked four months ago off and on by phone to be changed to the 1st because I was being charged overdraft fees.... that amounts to 140 dollars in overdraft fees... so thanks it's been real nice...Ken S. | Overall Experience

My one concern is the flow of questionable people coming in & out of the facility. This sounds judgmental, but it appeared to me that were using your facility to some suspicious activity. They had no vehicle outside, but were coming and going multiple times in the short times I was there recently emptying out my unit. At one point they had a "lookout" person hanging out near the door while they other two were in the facility. My father in law felt suspicious of them as well. The staff, in particular Mr.Keith Lenz, Robert Walsh have been so courteous and kind and understanding my being stranded in Canada and why and I appreciate they are men with empathy realizing how important are ones personal possessions and not to lose them. Our truck alignment was way off. When I called their office to advise, I was connected with the uhaul call center after a 15 minute wait. They said they needed to put me in touch with roadside, and the call was just placed back in the call center loop. Trucks need better maintenance.JONATHAN N.
The check in process was ridiculous. I did online check in to try to reduce my exposure risk inside the building, but had to redo the entire process once I was in there anyway. Why did I do the whole process online? The gas gauge reading was incorrect so I had to call and be on hold for fifteen minutes to report it. It was the worst experience. Reserved a 20 ft u haul. Got confirmation via e mail , never receive any call and when I showed up "no equipment available". I droved over 50 miles with 2 hired helpers and my son who came from LA to help. I had no choice but to settle with 1/2 the size and ended up doing 2 strips, twice the times, twice the gas. The guy helping us was cold, bad attitude, no communication, unhelpful " sorry, can't help, go call 1 800 number to complaint" and ended up putting our invoice under an old friend account. We never get any e mail of the receipt and when it time to return I nor my son were not able to log into our account using order number or our u haul account. i am very disappointed with this experience and the $ 50 credit was not enough to compensate for that. It ended up costing me much more than hiring the mover. While we were required to wear mask, one of your employer behind the counter did not even wear one and when my son asked him he said" i have it in my truck " and just carried on with his business.CALVIN D.

Please stop making it an option to reserve trailers that are NOT available. We needed the trailer that was reserved, not a smaller version. We also were moved to another location for our reservation with NO NOTIFICATION. We were told we'd get a call the day before with updated status, and DID NOT. I don't think that's the Temecula Location's fault, but we were overall very unhappy with the reservation and pick up situation at Murrieta location.Christopher B.

I went in a few days ago and setup a hold for a storage unit and when I went back to get it it had disappeared from the computer and they rented it. I had to get a bigger unit that I did not want and did not get a discount for their mistake. In my book that is not a good way to treat your customers. Make sure to place SAFETY at the top of your list & show that you care more about your customers! The U-haul staff needs to make sure to lock their sliding door after working hours. It has been left open 24/7. That is risky & unsafe because there are a lot of people that get high on drugs that live up the street at, Extended Stay & who rent units at U-haul of Temecula. U-haul staff needs to make sure & check out their alarms if they are going off & needs to check if their cameras are working. I recommend that they get rid of the donation pile because it makes the place look like crap & it is another way for lazy customers just to dump their trash. Upon walking by the trashy donation are, I saw more that 50/ porn videos scattered & even a personal check book that was left there. I wonder if anyone wrote fake checks out to themselves & got paid? People that leave porno material also leave it soiled with bodily fluids like semen or saliva. This means that the donation pile area is contaminated & it is not meeting (COVID-19/Corona Virus) regulations. There is also a lot of junk/trash left outside by the dumpsters. It makes the place look bad. You need to get rid of the donation pile that is essentially mostly TRASH that is left behind by customers. Also please clean up the dumpsters in the back so that it does not attract the drug users that loiter in your property. ( I was harassed by 2 & that is why I moved out (08/22/20). I am sure that drug addicts may find things that they can sale for a quick drug fix. Please make this U-haul location safe & clean by making some changes. This facility was so much better than I expected it to be! We moved in on a day where the temperature was over 100 and expected it to be a miserable experience. Instead we were able to back our U-Haul truck under one of their carports, use their many pull carts, which was great because we had a lot of boxes! And there were automatic doors that were motion sensored as we had to go in and out several times. And finally the whole facility was climate controlled so it was so much cooler than we expected! There was a nice bathroom facility and the whole place was so clean! The manager was super busy, yet he still took the time to show me how to unlock everything and use the automatic alarm and entrance.
