Charged $30 extra for turning a truck back in after time aloted of two hours. Rate is per day, not a few hours. Also, phone system for store needs revamped. Need actual humans answer the phone and not a machine.

Our truck alignment was way off. When I called their office to advise, I was connected with the uhaul call center after a 15 minute wait. They said they needed to put me in touch with roadside, and the call was just placed back in the call center loop. Trucks need better maintenance.

The check in process was ridiculous. I did online check in to try to reduce my exposure risk inside the building, but had to redo the entire process once I was in there anyway. Why did I do the whole process online? The gas gauge reading was incorrect so I had to call and be on hold for fifteen minutes to report it. When I returned the guy helping me was really nice and helpful.

It was the worst experience. Reserved a 20 ft u haul. Got confirmation via e mail , never receive any call and when I showed up "no equipment available". I droved over 50 miles with 2 hired helpers and my son who came from LA to help. I had no choice but to settle with 1/2 the size and ended up doing 2 strips, twice the times, twice the gas. The guy helping us was cold, bad attitude, no communication, unhelpful " sorry, can't help, go call 1 800 number to complaint" and ended up putting our invoice under an old friend account. We never get any e mail of the receipt and when it time to return I nor my son were not able to log into our account using order number or our u haul account. i am very disappointed with this experience and the $ 50 credit was not enough to compensate for that. It ended up costing me much more than hiring the mover. While we were required to wear mask, one of your employer behind the counter did not even wear one and when my son asked him he said" i have it in my truck " and just carried on with his business.

Please stop making it an option to reserve trailers that are NOT available. We needed the trailer that was reserved, not a smaller version. We also were moved to another location for our reservation with NO NOTIFICATION. We were told we'd get a call the day before with updated status, and DID NOT. I don't think that's the Temecula Location's fault, but we were overall very unhappy with the reservation and pick up situation at Murrieta location.

Due to proximity, I usually use the Uhaul down at Old Town (which is just as good, don't get me wrong), but had to use this location in a pinch. I made a reservation the day before I needed a truck and it was ready when needed. Truck was great, staff was great, and aside from the app check-in being slow, it was a GREAT experience beginning to end.

The area I feel that you should improve on is, when calling to get ahold of the location at the location using the number usually routes you to a 800# location. So the operator can't look out the window and tell me if they have any 26footers. I have to hope to god that the lone gets some how magically connected. I've wasted so much time having to drive down to the location cause I don't want to sit on hold for a half an hour. What also sucks is then I get dropped off seeing trucks in the parking lot and then going inside and finding out there's no trucks to rent. So having to call the wife to come back and pick ya up wasn't an fun experience either lol.

Truck didn't have working ac in 110+ degree heat that had to drive for hours. No alternative options. Really bad. Employees did the best they could, but were had to get manager approval for everything, but the manager was always “away”.

I went in a few days ago and setup a hold for a storage unit and when I went back to get it it had disappeared from the computer and they rented it. I had to get a bigger unit that I did not want and did not get a discount for their mistake. In my book that is not a good way to treat your customers. I am renting a 15' truck next week and asked for a discount on the and he said " We will see what we can do " My guess is I will have to pay full price if the haven't lost my hold on it.

I drove the truck about 21 miles put three gallons of gas in prior to returning it and you charged me some ridiculous fee for fuel. There are no hills involved. By the way I have a picture I can send you of the odometer and fuel gauge upon my return. My mistake is not taking a picture of the gauge prior to departure. Lesson learned, I will never give U-Haul to opportunity to screw me like that again Great scam you have going! I can't imagine the amount of money you suck out of your customers.

Make sure to place SAFETY at the top of your list & show that you care more about your customers! The U-haul staff needs to make sure to lock their sliding door after working hours. It has been left open 24/7. That is risky & unsafe because there are a lot of people that get high on drugs that live up the street at, Extended Stay & who rent units at U-haul of Temecula. U-haul staff needs to make sure & check out their alarms if they are going off & needs to check if their cameras are working. I recommend that they get rid of the donation pile because it makes the place look like crap & it is another way for lazy customers just to dump their trash. Upon walking by the trashy donation are, I saw more that 50/ porn videos scattered & even a personal check book that was left there. I wonder if anyone wrote fake checks out to themselves & got paid? People that leave porno material also leave it soiled with bodily fluids like semen or saliva. This means that the donation pile area is contaminated & it is not meeting (COVID-19/Corona Virus) regulations. There is also a lot of junk/trash left outside by the dumpsters. It makes the place look bad. You need to get rid of the donation pile that is essentially mostly TRASH that is left behind by customers. Also please clean up the dumpsters in the back so that it does not attract the drug users that loiter in your property. ( I was harassed by 2 & that is why I moved out (08/22/20). I am sure that drug addicts may find things that they can sale for a quick drug fix. Please make this U-haul location safe & clean by making some changes. They say that "cleanliness is next to Godliness." Best of luck..

The truck was not washed. There was dirt, drip marks on the drivers side & otherwise. The engine was stalling when I would turn the key but I was tired of addressing any more issues. I finally got to my destination & when I was ready to return the truck would not turn on. I called U-haul, Roadside assistance service but could not get through for more than 30/minutes. I finally asked multiple people around me for help & one of them called triple A with their Roadside Assistance service card. I was drained when I returned the truck to the U-haul manager. Asked him if everything was ok & after he said, "yes" I left. I was sad & exhausted!

I would recommend renting out the light plug in for trailers. Dont tow often at all and really didnt want to buy one and other locations have rented them out before.

I wasn't happy with the fact that someone in your office asks for my license, and then proceeds to take pictures of it without informing me, or asking my permission. This is my personal information which I am trying to protect and keep safe. I didn't get to see any of the employees licenses, or personal information, and I don't believe any of your employees would have been very happy to show me their licenses or have pictures taken of them without their permission. I find this practice if yours very rude, disrespectful, and unsafe to my private and personal info. Please change your policy, and the way that your employees treat your customers personal info. We customers have always tried to treat your rentals with care and respect, and returned them in good shape. I am only asking for the same courtesy and respect in turn. It seems only right. I doubt that anyone will take any of this seriously, but you did ask for my opinion, and so here it is. Do with it what you will, which won't be much, sadly to say.

This facility was so much better than I expected it to be! We moved in on a day where the temperature was over 100 and expected it to be a miserable experience. Instead we were able to back our U-Haul truck under one of their carports, use their many pull carts, which was great because we had a lot of boxes! And there were automatic doors that were motion sensored as we had to go in and out several times. And finally the whole facility was climate controlled so it was so much cooler than we expected! There was a nice bathroom facility and the whole place was so clean! The manager was super busy, yet he still took the time to show me how to unlock everything and use the automatic alarm and entrance. It turned out to be a great moving day!

I love U-Haul for your customer services and prices. I did a huge mistake with Penske when I tried to rent a truck with them. Of course, they didn't have it when I arrived. They even blamed me for making a late reservation. But U-Haul arranged everything withing minutes: we had a nice truck, a storage and a refund for bringing back a full tank. Thank you, guys!

Nicest U Storage facility I have ever seen. I had a temperature controlled unit and it was exactly what was needed. I forgot to slide the lock for the unit but was prompted to check it when leaving.
