Paid two months of rent in June for July and August. In September went to the facility and paid for September. Then on September 3rd corporate took two months rent out of my checking account saying we were two months behind. But according to the general manager we were current and had never been behind otherwise we would have been charged $60 for two months late fees and $50 to reinstate our storage rental. That never happened so obviously the guy that took the two month payment didn't show it on the account with uhaul corporate.Clint K. | Overall Experience

I used an auto dolly for my car. The straps for the tires worked well but not the chains. One chain had a rubber keeper that kept the s-link end secured. The other did not and came loose. It dragged on the pavement. More important, it would not have kept the car in place if the strap gave way. You need to make sure that all chains on all equipment have keepers, in good condition, or other devices that keep the chains in place. I have pulled several trailers recently and many of the chains did not have keepers.Nicholas C.

The equipment(6'x12' trailer) I reserved wasn't on site so they gave me a different one. The guy unofficially wrote down the new one and wrote his initials. I return the equipment less then 24 hours the next day. The guy said he would take care of it and I didn't need any paperwork. I get a phone call 4 days later saying it wasn't returned yet. UHaul needs to train their employees on finishing up paperwork so their customers don't get blamed for things their employees don't do. This is the second time UHaul has done this to me. The employee put insurance on my order even though I said I didn't want it three times - once in store via the keypad and twice online. He said he failed to verbally ask because "Things were going so smoothly". The check-in process is incredibly slow and there were people waiting behind me in line the whole time. I had to provide my credit card three times (once online, once in store for the initial order, and once for the price adjustment to remove the insurance). The employee wasn't able to remove the insurance but adjusted the price of an appliance dolly to get me back to the correct price.Derek R.

The area where equipment is supposed to be dropped off, is too dark. Lights should on both sides of this area. I was alone and had to get out of my vehicle several times to take pictures of the equipment in order to complete the online return process. 2 different people walked through the parking lot close to me (1 appeared to be homeless). I felt unsafe. There are areas of the parking lot that have much better lighting.Sherrie T.

I was hesitant to leave the keys in the dropbox despite using U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 because the padlock on the keybox was visibly unlocked. I didn't want to leave the keys in an unsecure location.Michael M.

It was easy to reserve online. But, the service was very slow. Several people were in line with 1 customer service agent. I reserved my trailer for 345pm and did not get drive out of the parking lot until after 430pm. Got to the mulch place, it was closed but the employee there took pity on me seeing that I rented the trailer and filled up my trailer with mulch after her working hours. She even gave me a discount!! Now, THAT is customer service. I will definitely return to the mulch business!!!SHELDON R.

Everything was great until we got our loaded truck on the road. At between 90 and 100 degrees ( outside ) the air conditioning did NOT work, the brakes were going out and it would barely go 60 miles per hour. This was a cross country move, not an in town move. I spent a lot of money on this rental and was not happy at all. I'm sure I wont get any refund and because of this I wont use you again.Kelly C.

I always rent from this location because they usually have everything I need and the trucks are clean. This time was by far my worst experience. I had reserved an appliance dolly but when I picked up my truck they were out. The guy helping me with my transaction was very apologetic but the guy at the other end was a jerk when I made a comment about what us the point of a reservation. When I got in the truck there was something spilt all in the cup holder. Once again the guy who had helped me came out and cleaned it up. On top of that the truck was filthy on the outside, like it has been driven through mud which is not a big deal but the windows were so dirty with something that at times it was hard to see. I will still use this location because I know every business has rough days Ave I'm sure that's what happened heteMICA P.

Overcharged. Charged my card multiple times and as a result I spent about as much time dealing with the return as I did actually using the truck. No one bothered to explain that that the 20 dollar rental fee was actually 79 dollars so I am now fucked on food. I am a disabled veteran and I live on a very fixed income. I would never have agreed to this had I known that my total would come out to 109 dollars for a truck rental that I agreed to pay 20 dollars per day forColin L.

The check in process was a joke, I was in line for over 20 minutes, then it took the person a long time to find my reservation, which I did online. I also purchased a lock, that was not there, the General Manage said he was going to go to another location across town and would have it in 30 minutes. When I returned after 4 hours, a new staff was there and i had to explain the situation two more times and no one still had the lock. Move my things in and still no lock. My husband had to run to Walmart for a lock and still made it back before the General Manager. Austin the final person that helped me was very nice and seemed genuinely sorry about all the issues and refunded my money for the lock. Nice facility, but the management was a joke. This was the worst customer experience I had in a long time. Moving should be the hardest part, but checking in to U-Haul was the hardest thing.Annette O. | First Impressions

I appreciate how helpful everyone was The manager went above and beyond to get our u-boxes delivered and picked up in a timely manner. The manager was always helpful when we came in. The staff were also attentive. They even helped me open my storage door that was too heavy for me. 'The u-boxes were a handy way to move from Oregon to Arkansas. I came to rent another unit same size/temp control. New guy was trying to be helpful but: rented me non climate ,moved me out of my several year unit (he asked if I wanted to take care of nearing rental fee) but rented me another unit.Noticed charges were wrong and called.. spoke to manager, he said would take care of.. got notification but money difference has not hit account.. I think it's $5 and truthfully after moving things from one unit to another I am done dealing with it.
