Not everyone knows how to assist with the rental deals. I ordered online and they upgraded but I didn't need downsized and screwed up reservations. But Jasmine was awesome and corrected what the complaint deptment couldn't. She made me keep the reservation because everyone else I was ready to go to Budget.

My normal experience at this location has been above average to excellent. However this time, the intake person was half asleep and very slow doing the paperwork. Note: I did the online check-in prior to the day of need. When dropping off the trailer, this (different) staff member was great and efficient.

One thing we noticed was the gas gage and miles to empty we’re lower than after we filled it and returned to its parking spot, if I remember right it was somewhere around +20 miles, so I’m guessing it was not topped off when we picked it up. Other than that it was a great experience by not having to talk to anyone in person during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic!!!

With the whole virus restrictions on, I was happy to see that this location was taking steps to protect their employees. It protects us as well, but the employees were taken care of. The gentleman who checked me in was a very good person doing CS work. He was business-like, gave me all the rules, solved a problem that cropped up & took care of everything in a patient manner.

This was my first time renting from U-Haul. I had received a phone call from someone telling me what time my rental would be ready. The folks on the phone were very professional and helpful. They are the reason I gave this an extra star, as well as the nice young lady that finally checked me in. The only reason I would use my time in writing these comments would be to let the company know how utterly rude the manager was to me. In all fairness, this happened during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 outbreak. I was waiting with my two children to check in. The way the cardboard is set up, it's a little difficult to know exactly where to go, and because the check-in desk is set so far back behind everything else and I didn't know which side to go to. He called me over, still seated at his desk from clear across the room by asking if I had been helped. I said I had not and that I was here to pick up a truck. He was completely annoyed. He asked me for my information, which I gave, and then if I had received an email about some kind of a self check in, which I had not. I didn't know what he was talking about. He became even more irritated at this point. I was standing in the doorway about four feet from him and he told me that I needed to get to six feet from him and that everyone needs to stay six feet apart and that the CDC is mandating this, at which I complied. However, I did not make my children move away from me. then he mumbled something about how they shouldn't even be in the store. After a couple minutes, I asked them to go wait in the car. It was clear that he was irritated that I was even there. His attitude was as if I was the disease. I have never been treated this way before at a business. This experience left such a distaste that if I ever need another moving truck, I will do everything I can to use an alternative. His attitude was completely uncalled for. My children were upset at how I was treated. Attitude is everything when you have dealings with the public.

I was very happy with the person that complted our paper work. She was very professional and helpful. I had not rented a moving van before, but she made me feel real comfortable with the process.

Take out the green tag sealed dolly and moving pads. This takes up around 15 sq. Feet of cargo space that I paid for. Made it a huge pain in the ass to get the last few items on the truck as well. Outside of that the staff was nice. The truck was in good shape. Easy to drive, good ramp, made my move way easier.

The customer service was exceptional here as well. It was a little slow for my liking, but that was overlooked by the effort the associate made to accommodate my storage needs. I obtained a 10’x15’ unit thinking it would be enough space. I realized immediately that it was too small. They were sold out of the 10’x20’ units. Instead of simply telling me “sorry sir, we’re sold out” the associate provided me with a solution. She suggested providing me with an additional 10’x10’ unit 3 doors down from my 10’x15’ unit, and only charging me for one 10’x20’ unit. Giving me an additional 10x5’ of storage at no cost to me. The manager on site immediately approved this solution. Bravo!!! Having no help to unload my 26’ Super mover stuffed to the gills, while keeping an eye on my 8 & 2 year old children; the manager on site was gracious enough to give me another day without charge to unload as it was getting close to 5:00 pm. the time I was to turn my truck in. This is something I’ve never experienced with Uhaul or any other rental company for that matter. His generosity, understanding & recognition of my position & the clear stress I was under, should be recognized & applauded. He made my day! Thank you again!!

Nothing really it went well for my first time ever renting from uhaul

We found that in 2 days of travel the enclosed 4x8 trailer was not water tight. When we unloaded, rain had got into the trailer and everything sitting on the floor was wet. It appeared that uhaul had tried to seal the unit with sealant after a previous complaint. Normal Uhaul action of send their worse trailer on a one way trip and keep their better ones for local use. It was an older trailer compared to others setting on the lot.

Our truck LEAKED and ruined boxes and furniture. When we returned it we told the person this and all they said was “sorry”. It ruined almost $1000 worth of items and furniture. If I didn’t care about my items getting ruined I would have used our open trailer for FREE. We rented uhaul to protect our items from the weather and the truck you rented us LEAKED. we should have been offered some sort of reimbursement but instead got a passive apology. I will make sure no one I know ever used uhaul again.

Not have the first person who you interact with look at you as if you already have this pandemic virus that's going around and spray straight lysol into their hands and not even answer my questions just told me to go back to my car and wait. I get everyone's scared but I had just got done driving 15 hrs from Albuquerque nm running on less then 5 hrs of sleep in 32 hrs. And had 4 kids with me who were also cranky and had to buy food along the way. So I get it but no need to treat me like I'm already getting you sick..

I was the only customer in the store and it took 20 minutes to get someone to assist me. There were three employees on the property, two hiding out back and one up front on the phone. I would have definitely walked out if I weren’t in desperate need of a rental truck!

I need a receipt for the amount charged to my credit card. I requested one when I picked the trailer up and was told I would receive one when I returned the trailer. I did not receive a receipt showing the cost charged to my credit card when I returned the trailer. I need that receipt.

When returning the vehicle I was obviously unsure about what to do and tried to go talk to someone. The two gentleman inside just stared at me not making any effort to help. So I figured it out on my own. A little customer service would have been nice.

Discovered that a back up light on the truck was not working when we inspected before leaving and had to wait about 45 minutes while the light was fixed. Then we discovered there was a nail in the right front tire right after leaving the location so we had to return and get another truck. Overall the people at this location are very friendly and helpful, but this truck was not up to par. The second truck was clean and we had no problems.

Make sure you tell me that there is an additional fee to drop off the truck after hours. I can see no justification for charging for an after hours drop off.

I'll never use U -haul again ! I had a storage for two years. This summer financial was rough I explained my situation only for my unit to be sold for $75. Over $10.000 of my belonging sold for $75

No dumpsters for unwanted items. No removal service. Full fee charged on units with items in them. No refund for unused storage days. We drove 140 miles round trip to remove items and sweep the unit.

When I first moved in, they said I could have 24/7 access to my climate unit. I tried my card one night only to be met by a very loud alarm. The smell of mice urine and droppings is DISGUSTING!

Good storage units, only issue was the 20 dollar price difference between other temperature controlled units in the area. Only left due to moving out of state.
