The employees were wonderful. There was a long wait to get the rental truck. I had a 8:00 am pick up appointment and arrived at 7:30 am. I waited over an hour just to get the truck and that is unacceptable. When I returned the truck, I again waited 45 minutes in line despite asking if I needed to do this. There were no clear or visible rules on what the process is. They desperately need help at this location. People were getting frustrated, argumentative with the Uhaul staff, complaining and cursing at other customers due to the long wait. This was not a good experience despite your customer service employees working hard.
Donna C.Very rude customer service - no smile or thank you. Also, I pre-registered online but had to upload my ID at the facility again which took time. I also was not aware this facility required a credit card which should have been listed on the website.

Sam O.I had booked the rental over a month in advance and had a print out of my confirmation. The franchise owners informed me that U-Haul national had cancelled out the reservation without informing me. The local owners were able to re-establish the rental, but getting a picture of both sides of my drivers license connected with the contract took many tries, by two co-owners, and took about 45 minutes. So it took about an hour to pick up my truck. Other than that things went well.

abiel B.I originally had a reservation for a van on Pershing, but this was completely disregarded and sold to a customer as I was filling out verification forms on my phone directly in front of them. There were no trucks left at this location that suited my needs. I was forced to Uber to this location and was denied any form of discount or empathy during this horrible experience. I've completely lost faith in Uhaul and likely will never rent from them again, as truck reservations NEED to be respected on moving day. If you are someone who likes having your promises and money respected, DO NOT USE UHAUL.

The people who work here are very new and have no idea what they are doing. We stood around for 10 before being helped by a more experienced worker. First impressions are important and as a company you want people to come back and use your services and products. I will not be coming back to use U-Haul. I will be using one of your competitors' services and products.

Martin B.I had many issues with the tow dolly and getting different information from different uhaul staff. Also I returned the tow dolly 2 days early and uhaul had the nerve to try and charge me for an extra day. How dare you try and take money out my account 2 wks after I returned the tow dolly. Sad. If the equipment was late why didn't I get a call on the 3rd when it was due? But no you try and sneak and take money out my account. So Sad.

Lisa B.The customer service was Excellent! My only concern is for there to be signs posted clearly for returning vehicles and “directing the flow†for customer parking. There were frequent traffic jams from customers having to turn around the trucks outside the parking lot entrance. I had to back out into 71st street westbound 2 times due to this backup. It could be dangerous to a careless driver. There is clearly a large parking lot that some customers decided that they did not want to use and parked on the street for personal convenience. I witnessed twice where a person had to guide trucks to make sure that the truck cleared the car parked on the street. Large signs should be posted ABOVE openings stating “Returning Vehicles†and “Exit Onlyâ€.

KENT D.The U-Haul app works poorly with your IT infrastructure. The app is very well designed. However it takes a long time to enter pictures and other pertinent info only to have the app CRASH towards the end. This applies to initiating the rental as well as closing it out. I expect that U-Haul will soon correct this 'not-ready-for-prime-time' situation.

JOSEPH B.When I went to pick up my uhaul I was stranded outside in the cold because the uhaul truck that was originally assigned to me was blocked in by two other trucks I don't understand how you assign someone a truck they can't get access to although the person I spoke with over the telephone was very helpful she also had trouble switching over my truck which made the process take even longer , in the future please make sure not to block trucks In That are being rented out it's a big inconvenience especially when your trying to do things in a timely manner.
