There was a mix up as the first attendant punched in the wrong truck number, but his boss was able to figure out we had the correct truck. From then, drop off was easy.

dazinae iTrucks not mechanically sound. Transmission torque is always poor. Check in is usually excellent but on this particular day the individual was very slow moving and lethargic and void of customer service skills. The usual $100 deposit was deducted and the balance was not refunded to my account as of the date of this survey which is now four days later. This has never happened in the decades that i have used U-Haul at this location.

LATICE WDon't expect to rent the truck that you need, because they would rent you what they want you to have, a smaller truck. Even though you reserved the truck 2-3 weeks in advance, and switched it a day before your move. Forcing you to make 2 trips and you moved over an hour away. No type of accommodations or discounts, just it is what it is. It took me 4 days to move because of this inconvenience. What a horrible horrible experience with U-Haul.

Philip WMy Unit was full of rat poop covering the entire unit including on top of my boxes. I have pictures and a video showing that as well. I never kept any food for there to have been rats. It also seems like someone knew about the situation but failed to inform me about it because there was a rat trap in the back of the unit that was not initially there when I first moved in. I would appreciate if someone can contact me as soon as possible to file a claim. Gracias.

regina c | Overall ExperienceThis location is old and outdated, they don't honor none of the deals they promote such as, first month free etc. they had a storage container listed that was large enough to hold a one bedroom apt, I got it, and once I got there to use it it was small and could even get my queen size bed inside of it. The employees couldn't do anything to help me, they still charged me the same rate even tho the space wasn't what was prompted. I hired movers that was one a time limit and we wasted almost an hour trying to find my reservation for the storage space.. the workers were ok. But the system is old And outdated, I figure. I'm Never going there again. Once I find another storage I'm getting my belongings out of there and moving around!.. wouldn't refer this place to anyone!! Zero stars!!

All her employees were even looking at her like she was crazy. She wouldn't assist in any way and when I asked her for help, she pulled off and said she's getting off. Her attitude, facial expressions and the way she deals with customers is very disappointing. She legit should NEVER work with people again because she's not a people person. The assistant manager was amazing. He was so helpful and apologetic over the HORRIBLE experience we had with the manager. Fire the girl and hire him because she's BEYOND rude. While she works there I will NEVER recommend anyone do business at the Uhaul on 71st.
