All the employees I dealt with were great and when I wanted to return the equipment early they had no problem with a refund for the used days.
ROBERT DKayla and Logan are absolutely amazing team players! They were both very good at communicating and explaining various aspects of the rental. Logan helped make sure I I arrived to the correct location. Kayla made sure communication was fluid in regards to needing to extend to and hour or so. Very transparent very respectful and extremely helpful. 10/10 can't wait to use them again!

OXENIA P | Overall ExperienceWe weren't notified that our container had arrived until after I called to check in on it. I'm not sure how many days it sat there and I could have picked it up earlier. Was also very nervous when we went to pick it up and the guy just said to take the one we thought was ours, so it was never checked out to us. Also we were not told to schedule the pickup 24 hrs in advance so that became tricky in trying to arrange since we are 2 hrs from the site. Also, both loading and unloading locations have poor communication and when we told them to ship it wasn't made clear to manager to ship for a week, so it was delayed from the beginning, and then the non notification at the end was frustrating as well. I'm not sure why there isn't a way to have it tracked in transit since it is a large item and it seems like it would be helpful to have an idea where it was last located

ROBERT AThe only issue I had was the concrete barrier for the fire hydrant, I couldn't SEE it…. When I parked, that was the closest spot available. But I was at the wrong door. So I went to move my truck, didn't SEE anything on the passenger side, so I cranked the wheel but it was the wrong way and it destroyed my front quarter panel and front bumper. Unfortunately I found out I don't have collision on this vehicle so I cannot afford to fix it. But everything else was ok ish. I mean, ideally I want more than a 10x10 but I guess that's how those outside units are built? Since they all the garage doors on the opposite side I'm guessing there's no 10x20?

KATHERINE LI really appreciated the customer service I received today when I woke up with vertigo and had to delay my pick up time and then had to send my daughter and son in law to get the uhaul instead of me to pick it up and drop it off. They worked everything out over the phone and I was able to complete my move. ¡Gracias!

FAITH SI used the South Fairbanks (Airport) facility. There was enough room to unload and unpack the shipment from the movers. It is clean and they were working on repairing and keeping it clean. The inside temperature felt more comfortable than most other storage facilities in town. If I need another storage unit with those qualities, I'd rent here again.

Kent KEverything went well until we got to Edmonton Canada and are trailer broke and it was a lot of confusion about us getting another trailer they had a tow truck come and pick up three trailer and sent us to this uhaul place that was in the middle of nowhere to come to find out that the trailer that they had was broke already and we couldn't use it so then we had to drive another 30 min to another uhaul place to get a trailer this took us a whole day before we were able to get back on the road

Becky LDelanie was wonderful! She heaped me get a reservation over the phone and checked me in when I arrived. The Chevy truck I rented was new and had a lot of amenities. The check out guy tried to charge me $25 for a 4 pieces of Starbucks wrappers and cups. All neat and on the passenger floor mat. What the heck dude!

Timothy FI used your trailer for 1/3 of the days I payed for and could not get a partial refund. Last time I'm using Uhaul.
adam sThe employee who helped me acted like I was inconveniencing her by renting equipment. When she informed me the fuel was not full I asked if it was possible to get a truck that was and she said this is what you get if you want one. She knew I had a bunch of stuff sitting next to the building yet decided to part the truck about as far away as she could. I then realized that the fuel was only at 5/8 and not 7/8 as she claimed. Upon driving I realized the passenger mirror was loose and would move outward making it unsafe for me to change lanes. During my drive to Anchorage, I had to pull over about 20 times to adjust the mirror because I could not safely change lanes and had to blindly move to the right praying someone was not next to me. This caused me lots of wasted time and fuel and put me in danger of having to get out on the roadside to do this. The steering wheel is also off-center and turned to the right so when you turn the wheel to the correct position the truck then goes off to the left.
JOHN KThe quality of the work itself was good, and the hitch appears to be quality. However, I showed up for an appointment to find that the hitch would not arrive in store for another 10 days (this was after rescheduling the appointment to a later date to allow for shipping time). After arriving for the (now twice rescheduled) appointment, I was informed that an "emergency installation" was currently being conducted, and my vehicle would have the hitch installed as soon as possible. This delayed my installation by about an hour and a half to two hours. I suggest that better communication with the customer regarding potential delays should be a priority.
Evans CThe ubox was damaged from the beginning, missing one leg door was not able to close properly. I had to start fixing box after filling hafe way with screws . I had to jack up door to get it to close right and install a new latch to lock it. When box got to the pick up place u hall in flipen AR I had called them and they said it would be ready to pick up in the morning. When I got there that did not know anything about it waiting over1 1/2 hours to take it home ! So I was very disappointed in service. When I dropped off box to send in Fairbanks AK Thay said that should have never sent that box out. When I dropped in off after receiving it no one was around . So not that happy with u hall, and the cost was to much .

Myles TIt has been so hard to get locations specified and lock in reservations- this trailer we could not return to the same location as our truck and the storage unit we reserved. After all the issues with getting a truck and being told two days prior to our reservation the state didn't have much inventory we couldn't have the size we needed and probably won't have the next size down either and maybe we wouldn't even have a truck. The storage unit we reserved got cancelled one week after booking without any notification prior and we had to rebook at another location because they had no availability.

Michelle DI was very impressed with the services, the facility and friendliness of the staff. This is the best run business I've been to in a longtime. I cannot stress enough how well run this particular place is. They offer a variety of services. I had a trailer hitch installed. My storage room looked brand new and was climate controlled. There were multiple pieces of moving equipment available to use for free. Honestly too much to write- it's easier to come see for yourself. Bottom line they offer many services and it's a pleasure to do business with them.

I really appreciated the drive-in garage bays for loading and unloading, and the complimentary trolley carts. It was also easy to pay my rental fee online. My only complaint is that sometimes it seemed like the office was understaffed, so that when I had a need to attend to, I would have to wait for quite a while if there were multiple other customers needing assistance. But overall, great experience!

LLOYD F | First ImpressionsI live in anchorage and our sole purpose is to come up for the events at the Carlson center. They always end on Sunday at 5pm and you all close at 5pm. We need to be able to put our items back in the storage after the event before we head to the airport. Even if you could close at 6 just for us to access our storage unit, that would be great. They announced several times that they don't want anyone to move out before 5pm because it creates a safety issue for the patrons. As much as I like your facility, this may not work for us. We need to be able to rent a unit for at least 2-3 years. Please let us know if you can work with us

Also their was an empty 5x10 next to one of the separated units however the manager on site couldn't change the units so I could have two units side by side because the rental was made online. This makes their ability to give optimal customer service.

Luckily the in store units wasn't split. Also the split unit is two 5X10s that are apart from each other . There was an available 5x10 next to one of the split units I got but the manager said they couldn't change the online designation. It seems odd that a store manager can't reassign units in their store as needed to accommodate a customer better.

I was not told that i had to sign in and what times I access the storage unit that I paid $129. And $10 for the uhaul lock. Online the price was different. And the price on the wall is $79. I believe. I'm really not happy with my experience sofar honestly.

JERRINE A | Overall ExperienceThe facility is easy to use, even if it's a bit of a maze. With the numbers of the units somewhat disorganized to the customer's point of view. However, the first truck would stop running whenever it hit a full stop. We asked for a replacement and then the second truck's cabin stank of marijuana. I'm allergic to marijuana. The cabin will have to be completely wiped down to get rid of the smell. Or ask for another new truck. The gentleman at the desk was very nice and helpful. Jared at Fairbanks Uhaul on Airport Way was a pleasure to talk to. Please give the man a raise for working with coworkers that contaminate the other trucks. :D

The storage area was easily accessible either via a man door or garage door. It was well lit, warm and easily accessible. The storage area appeared to be secure and free of unsavory characters. I would certainly recommend storage at this location.
