My truck got full on ransacked and robbed in there parking lot while I was away for 6 hours and they say they don’t have cameras in there parking lot full of trucks and trailers I bet the guy that robbed me was the guy I talked to because he didn’t seem to give a poop

The traction on this van entirely unsuitable for conditions and cost me a tow fee. I wasn’t even in the ditch, or sunk in snow. Terrible experience. Terrible traction. Won’t repeat ineitwr ever again

The windshield was dirty on the inside. The change oil soon light was on at the beginning of my rental and changed to change oil now while I was using it. Perhaps should have been changed before I rented it. Everything else was fine.

the in store customer service wasnt in the building when I walked in. I had to call customer service after 13min of standing there and have them call the employee on their personal cell to get them to come help me. the cargo van had in adequite tires for the roads and conditions that were on the highways and streets, I was told after complaining the vehicle was unsafe that it was my fault I loved where I lived and they didnt tell me to drive their vehicle to my house out of town down a icy road. where am I supposed to drive a uhaul truck for moving furniture from my house.....park down the highway away from my house then carry my stuff 3 mile? that's stupid. I hate the Fairbanks alaska uhaul branch's, they are all rude and lazy, and disrespectful and they think because they are the only option where we live they can treat people any way they want!! I will never use uhaul again and will tell everyone I know not to use uhaul either.

There are still trash and food crumbs under the driver seat and you guys charge way too much per mile $0.79. I asked if you guys do any discounts because I am a firefighter and there are no discounts and all I did was help a relative and older relative move a bunch of storage items and I believe that was charging way too much for the miles I put on there so no I won't probably ever use you guys again if you guys charge that much for the miles

We had 1/2 a tank of gas when it was documented it was full on the paperwork. When pointed out they made sure that it was corrected and initialed on the paperwork. Then the first truck check engine light came on by the time we went to load, but the truck was promptly switched out. I was so thankful that they made the other truck available despite it not being as clean on the interior. They really helped make sure that we could move on time and we had no other issues after that.

Given I rented a pick-up, it should be obvious that I needed to use it for loading stuff. I would have expected that I didn't have to dig snow out of the bed to do that - it should have come cleaned out.

The location is awesome. The Customer service was good as well. Unfortunately the vehicle that I rented was not cleaned out. The box van was dirty, blankets left in the back in a pile and it was not swept out. I'm sure that it slipped through someone's fingers as I have rented vehicles many times and have not had this experience. Although the vehicle that I had was probably the oldest in the fleet... It ran ran like a top. Kudo's to your service team and Don Koerner at this Fairbanks, Alaska Location.

The only issue is when i called in to reserve the trailer. the lady set me up for the wrong store. i didn't find out the change till i arrived at the store which didn't have the trailer. I was sent across town by them. it could have saved me some time is this was not the case. Thanks

Everything was great. I’ve rented from U Haul 4-5 times this year, and have had nothing but positive experiences each time.

2nd horrible experience this year. 20 years renting at uhaul & am now dealing with incompetent staff. Due a refund of $44.74 which the local people apparently can't manage. Spent more time on the phone dealing with the inability of the locals to do their jobs than I did in the truck. The money is stuck as a pending debit charge instead of having been refunded to my account, as would have made sense. Train your staff!

The interior of the pickup truck smelled a bit like fish and there was a piece of salmon skin in the truck bed. It wasn't overwhelming though. Maybe an air freshener would help.

As reported in earlier comment, Steve was absolutely amazing and ensured I did not leave uhaul until satisfied. He deserves as much praise as possible for his dedication to the customers... As I was brought to tears, pleading that I know what I said, confirmed and informed in Anchorage...and recalled and re-enacted the entire situation, Steven made sure to calm my fears and handled the issue then and there. He was very very very persistent making sure I did not walk out of there without a comforted smile and sense of trust fulfillment. I was very happy how much he cared about my customer experience... Although currently upset over the charges, to actual give review if my experience at the location, I highly recommend this uhaul for all friends and family simply because of how well Steven treated me and how important he made me as a customer feel. I definitely felt as though my concerns and experience were the highest priority because of him, and was absolutely leaving a proud and satisfied customer that day.

First of all, every time I was in to get something or pay for something, there were computer issues. From system being down to being slow to not working as expected...this was not a good thing. Second, I made and confirmed a reservation for one of your larger trucks. When I came in to get it, IT WAS NOT THERE!! I ended up with a smaller truck I had to keep for an extra day because I was now having to load, go to the new location and unload, then return to the original location and load again. Third, the furniture (appliance) dollie I reserved... You guessed it, IT WAS NOT THERE!!! The staff person on duty said there might be one at another location but did not call to confirm. This was a chance for a real customer service moment. He could have called and had on sent to his location. Or called and had one delivered to us. But no.... Fourth, not all packing items were placed in our truck. WE HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER SOURCE AND BUY MORE!!! Lastly, I was told to drop off the keys in your box located in an UNLIT parking lot in the rain. Obviously, you care not a wit about the safety of your customers.

The pick up location was supposed to be College Road. The day before I was called to confirm the reservation. I arrived at the U-Haul on college road at the pick up time on Saturday morning and no 26 foot truck. I couldn’t understand because they called me the day before. Luckily the airport way U-Haul had a truck and everything worked out well.
