You guys have contractors blindly feeding your system and customers rely on the authenticate of the information on your website. I booked a contractors from moving help and my credit card had a hold of 1300 which U-haul processed for an invalid contractors. This delay my vacate date and I was fined by my property manager You guys have no idea the impact your inaction affects the normal person. I have 2 units with you and I've rented your trucks for ever event I've had. But if this is your standard of care for your customers.....

This truck was advertised as having a ramp. I picked it up to find it didn't have one and it was too late to exchange it. Most of the reason for the rental was because it had a loading ramp.

We had 2 separate identically-sized units (4x16 ft.? each) that were adjacent to each other, and cleared one out on December 30, 2024. We were 1st in line and it took 55 minutes for the U-Haul staff to check us out of the unit and provide paperwork. Problems included 1) we were checked out of the wrong unit, 2) U-Haul wrote up a new contract instead of dropping 1 of our 2 units from the current contract, 3) we are now being charged $123.90/month for the 1 unit (vs. the $163.90 we were previously charged for the 2 units) when it seems we should be charged approximately 1/2 the price of the 2 units since we are only renting 1 unit, and 4) the paperwork we were provided on site indicated we were renting the unit we cleared out (though U-Haul corrected the billing and sent the correct paperwork electronically later the same day).

The overall truck was clean but the windshield was very dirty. Hard to see through when the sun was coming in. Also the radio did not work. It would turn on but there was no sound. It was like the speaker was disconnected.

Although I had reserved my truck through the app, I needed to change the size from a 26 foot to a 20 foot. The store rep greeted me with a friendly" No Problem" and proceeded to make the change on her computer. I completed my checkout in a few short minutes. She gave me a couple of friendly reminders and I was out the door to do my move. I have used this location before and it will remain my Go To store for truck rental and moving needs.

Rental of the truck was good. Smooth process, polite employee, well informed. The truck was involved in some sort of incident and it should've not been rented out. 20 minutes after I drove it out, I noticed that passenger mirror was taped and it has moved out of position. Driving it waa dangerous because I could not see the right side at all. I pulled over more than a few times to adjust it, however as soon as came upon a dip or minor bump in the road, mirror has moved. I did complete the move after 7 so it made the driving in dark rather risky. I asked my son to follow me to block the right lane so that I could change without creating an accident.

There was no equipment in the truck and when. I asked for equipment they refused to give me any. The truck was clean and empty. I have never rented a U-haul truck with nothing to pull my furniture. Also I would make sure the gas is put back. I went to the gas station on Memorial Drive down the road from the U-haul and I am not understanding how the gas got so low. I didn't take a picture of the gas. I was not please with the services that I had with your company. I thought renting from you guys would have been better but

The access to to he storage unit could be improved. Most of the loading/unloading docks were blocked by the hitch trailers and a truck. I wasn't able to use the one available dock's roll-up door were we had to park to unload the truck. The sidewalk we had to use to get to the the storage unit was narrow and had an AC unit blocking part of it. We had to carefully maneuver by it as to not let the dolly slip off the sidewalk's edge or bump into to the AC unit. The unit I was given had a water drip from the ceiling and smelled a bit like mildew. The agent quickly resolved that and issued my another acceptable unit. He also made note of water drip and made a repair ticket. Much thanks.

Some employees are not friendly, some are just to laid back for work. There's never any parking anywhere to load your uhaul. The upstairs area NEEDS better temperature control. The facility is old and needs to be updated. These are the reason I transfer my storage. I found one much nicer as well as cheaper.

What I ordered and reserved. I don't not receive. The lady act like so do you want it or not. What you think. I have a truck full of things. I'm handicap and how am I to get up stairs to get to the room. They told me when I reserved it that it was on the first floor. I won't be staying here long. I received a call from someone that works there telling me I have a wrong lock I explained to her that I wasn't told that when I bought the unit I stated that I'm out of town and will be back in thurs she states she is cutting the lock I told her she does not have permission she said she don't need my permission and I stated again you don't have my permission I will be there Thursday to switch it and she said no I'm cutting it. I was charged an additional fee after moving out and the store manager refused to give me a refund. I had to escalate the issue to the higher ups and call multiple times over the span of two weeks before getting a refund. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend to anyone.

I moved at night and the cargo dome light didn't work. It made life very difficult. Also, the site was unclear and I was under the impression I'd have 24 hour access to my storage unit and that was not the case. Very disappointed by this as I was still loading things into the unit when I was locked out. The truck share return process was confusing as well, the website had a photo of an orange key return box so after 15 minutes of looking for an orange box I saw the hole in the door. Also the one working light in front of the store kept flickering. I had hoped to have an easy move but the biggest issues were with loading into the unit. The doors are also bent and I had to pry the door open and it slammed into my foot and, in doing so, cut my toe. The whole process is very convoluted.

Most disappointed that with a truck rental, I was only offered one-month's free storage for a 5 x 5 unit. My rental office in Springfield, IL said that I could expect a free rental for any size unit. I called the Snellville location on 1/10 and talked with an agent at a remote location. I reserved a 10 x 10 unit. While Christina was most helpful in locating a 5 x 10 unit that met my needs, I was frustrated that the first month's rental was not available free of charge.

Need to extend time to access units. I get off work after 6:00 p.m. and facility closes at 8:00 pm .doesnt allow me time to get to my storage unit . Other than that everything was good.

We tried calling multiple times over two days, waited for 10-15 minutes each time and never got an answer. We finally reserved our unit online. Instead of a 10x10 that I reserved I was given two separate 5x5 that a matter was doesn't fit in. When I tried to handle the situation the employee went and helped other customers and never returned to help us solve the issue. I left, had to reserve another unit somewhere else and couldn't even get them on the phone to cancel the units. We had to cancel them through online service.

We were given two 5X5 spaces as there were no 10x10's available when we turned in our truck. We were told we could consolidate both units into one and at that time would only pay for one unit the following month. However when we informed the employee we wanted to pay for the following month for the one unit we were told by the employee and his manager that we could not do that and would have to either move to another unit or pay for both. We were given two different prices and No One, including the manager even bothered to apologize for the misinformation their employee gave to us. We will NEVER do business with UHAUL again.

My reservation couldn't be found on the computer until I showed the reservation I had on my phone. The young man was truly helpful but as I heard him talking to his manager to help him with working the system the manager was rude. When he asked if I can get the free month she adamantly said no and I still had to pay extra for the additional storage. With all the aggravation the least the manager for this location could have done was work with us better to help instead of sounding irritated with her employee for contacting her and not honoring the first month free promotion online. I'm very disappointed with our treatment.

I had such a difficult time with the pick up at an independent gas station dealer, Valero. It took nearly two hours to straighten out the problem but thanks to the folks at the Pleasant Hill location and Victoria at the Snellville location everything worked out so much better! I'm grateful that she was there because it's clear she's very experienced and great with customers. Thank you so much

I got charged for a unit for the month in I'm not using it they said I can get my money back since I'm not using it then they tell me I can't so I paid a month for nothing in dont get me started on the truck I got charged over a hundred dollars to go thirty miles in didnt get my refund

I wasn't able to physically be at the storage unit the 1st week I purchased it. And employee told me that they would lock the unit and have the key at the front office when. I came in to get the key to load up the storage unit and waiting in line for an hour. Once I got to speak to an employee, they told me that they couldn't get the key that was supposed to be at the front desk for me, I had to wait for the other employee, who was currently practicing horrible social distancing skills by using customers cell phone to get information about booking a storage unit. Instead of just giving me the key, they told me that I'd have to wait longer than the hour that I already waiting, for a key I already paid for, that was supposed to just be at the front office. I left. I had other pressing matters to handle on top of dropping off all my clothes to the storage unit I already paid for. This has completely altered my moving processes. I just want the key to the unit I paid for so that I can access it.

Ms Q and her staff are excellent to deal with. U-Haul Corporate customer service is the worst that i have ever had to deal with. I am not sure i would ever use U-haul for a cross country move again.
