I was charged for gas in a returned truck. After showing a paid receipt and a screenshot of a half full tank gas needle, I was told that the manager check the truck in so there was nothing that they could do. I totally get it no one wants to go up against the manager but you try to steal from me because I'm a senior citizen. Bad business

Some employees are not friendly, some are just to laid back for work. There's never any parking anywhere to load your uhaul. The upstairs area NEEDS better temperature control. The facility is old and needs to be updated. These are the reason I transfer my storage. I found one much nicer as well as cheaper.

There was a long wait time before anyone was in the building....I understand many places understaffed....15 min. picking up and dropping off before an employee was available....again many places understaffed these days. I had a discrepancy over my bill and Victoria was very responsive. I had decided to use another Uhaul place in the future, but Victoria's help changed my mind. Vehicle had oil light / engine problem help on continually. Maybe needs some looking at.

The truck I received was dirty both inside and out. I had to go back inside to request a clean truck when I did that the manager, Lauren had an attitude for me asking for a cleaner truck. Even the gentleman, Jeremy AGREED that the truck was too dirty to give to a customer. The girl checking me out wasn't very helpful or knowledgeable she didn't seem to know her job very well. And finally the truck was not on full when I received the rental but I was charged RIDICULOUS amounts for gas. Just overall I would not visit this location again. In fact, I'm almost never want to visit a U-haul ever again. I keep feeling like I'm being ripped off when I try to support the U-haul brand. Never satisfied with the customer service no matter where I go. Sorry not sorry.

This was the third location I had tried to get an appliance dolly from. I had made a reservation at Norcross, but when I arrived there was no appliance dolly available. The lady at the shop recommended a nearby store on Rockbridge, and I made a reservation for there with Marge on the phone she was great to talk to, but would not promise the dolly would be there. When I arrived, Diego said they rarely ever have dollies there, and he contacted yet another location Which online said they had dollies but the lady he talked to said they never have dollies. Diego was very helpful in trying to find me something, but there were none available. I was very disappointed because I had now made two reservations and still did not have an appliance dolly. On my way back home to get a normal hand truck, I passed yet another store on Hewitt Road, and I got a truck with a ramp from them, but no Appliance dolly. My main purpose for even renting the truck was to get an appliance dolly to move the equipment that I needed to move. U-Haul has been great for most of my move this year, but this was the biggest mess I've had to deal with and wasted an entire day of my time.

I would recommend to have a valet service for uhaul rentals, especially for frequent tiered Clients. Having the uhaul pulled to the front in a lane would make it easier for Clients to access the vehicle, versus having to walk in the parking lot to see which uhaul truck license plate and key corresponds to their rental agreement. I believe this could be a test run for 2024 to see if Customers appreciate this service. The restroom was immaculate and smells great. The employees were also friendly and respectful.

Always inform customers of all information! Don't assume they are reading signs on the wall and in the parking lot! You have to let the people know all procedures of the rental! This location is not good with this process and you will be charged extra and they will not care about the customer!

Don't leave the new employee by himself to go and do something else when you know the new employee is new and doesn't really know what's going on. That really drug down the experience. Not the new employee's fault but the fault of the person that decided that it was a good idea to walk away and leave the employee hanging like a dingleberry. Outside of that. The other employees stepped up and stepped in to save the day so I commend the team that did stick around to help out the new person when the original person that was supposed to be helping the new employee decided to walk away. The bathroom was exceptional. One of the best rest rooms I have ever been in. I actually told people about this rest room. It was wonderful. The truck smelled great too. Excellent.

I was overcharged for my rental for gas and I let the heavy set guy there know that the amount of gas that he wrote on the paperwork wasn't true. He stated that just take a photo of it. Which I did but my phone couldn't upload but he knew this because we had just used his phone to upload my identification. So for this reason I won't go back to this location. I added more gas than was originally in the tank before I left the lot plus I returned it earlier than I was supposed to.

I was over charged for my trailer rental. I returned my trailer ahead of schedule, went inside fo have someone come unhitch my return (which he did) and afterwards he said "that's all". He never logged/checked in or had me sign anything and 2 days later I see an extra charge for 2 days late fee.

I was actually very disappointed. Traffic cancelled my reservation unbeknownst to me. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was informed I had no reservation in the system. Thank goodness for the wonderful staff that morning, they were empathetic as I began to cry. They were able to calm me down and offered other alternatives with the assistance of the store manager. The truck I got was smaller and required me to do more than one trip at the storage unit which was a nuisance and would not have happened if I was given the original truck I'd requested. Apart from this mishap, my overall experience was a 4 stars.

My experience with u haul was as bad as it gets. My search for a 1 room truck rental began on Saturday morning. My reservation was confirmed 3 times only to be sent to wrong location. Then sent to location with no vehicle. So Saturday ended with no vehicle I wasted my entire. I was told a vehicle was reserved for Sunday morning. When I got to location no vehicle. I checked in the night before with share app received confirmation. Finally, had to take a 5 room truck that needed power steering fluid. My entire weekend wasted on truck rental I only needed for 4 hours. Terrible customer service!!

What I ordered and reserved. I don't not receive. The lady act like so do you want it or not. What you think. I have a truck full of things. I'm handicap and how am I to get up stairs to get to the room. They told me when I reserved it that it was on the first floor. I won't be staying here long. I received a call from someone that works there telling me I have a wrong lock I explained to her that I wasn’t told that when I bought the unit I stated that I’m out of town and will be back in thurs she states she is cutting the lock I told her she does not have permission she said she don’t need my permission and I stated again you don’t have my permission I will be there Thursday to switch it and she said no I’m cutting it. I was charged an additional fee after moving out and the store manager refused to give me a refund. I had to escalate the issue to the higher ups and call multiple times over the span of two weeks before getting a refund. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend to anyone.

I moved at night and the cargo dome light didn't work. It made life very difficult. Also, the site was unclear and I was under the impression I'd have 24 hour access to my storage unit and that was not the case. Very disappointed by this as I was still loading things into the unit when I was locked out. The truck share return process was confusing as well, the website had a photo of an orange key return box so after 15 minutes of looking for an orange box I saw the hole in the door. Also the one working light in front of the store kept flickering. I had hoped to have an easy move but the biggest issues were with loading into the unit. The doors are also bent and I had to pry the door open and it slammed into my foot and, in doing so, cut my toe. The whole process is very convoluted.

Most disappointed that with a truck rental, I was only offered one-month's free storage for a 5 x 5 unit. My rental office in Springfield, IL said that I could expect a free rental for any size unit. I called the Snellville location on 1/10 and talked with an agent at a remote location. I reserved a 10 x 10 unit. While Christina was most helpful in locating a 5 x 10 unit that met my needs, I was frustrated that the first month's rental was not available free of charge.

Need to extend time to access units. I get off work after 6:00 p.m. and facility closes at 8:00 pm .doesnt allow me time to get to my storage unit . Other than that everything was good.

We tried calling multiple times over two days, waited for 10-15 minutes each time and never got an answer. We finally reserved our unit online. Instead of a 10x10 that I reserved I was given two separate 5x5 that a matter was doesn’t fit in. When I tried to handle the situation the employee went and helped other customers and never returned to help us solve the issue. I left, had to reserve another unit somewhere else and couldn’t even get them on the phone to cancel the units. We had to cancel them through online service.

We were given two 5X5 spaces as there were no 10x10’s available when we turned in our truck. We were told we could consolidate both units into one and at that time would only pay for one unit the following month. However when we informed the employee we wanted to pay for the following month for the one unit we were told by the employee and his manager that we could not do that and would have to either move to another unit or pay for both. We were given two different prices and No One, including the manager even bothered to apologize for the misinformation their employee gave to us. We will NEVER do business with UHAUL again.

My reservation couldn't be found on the computer until I showed the reservation I had on my phone. The young man was truly helpful but as I heard him talking to his manager to help him with working the system the manager was rude. When he asked if I can get the free month she adamantly said no and I still had to pay extra for the additional storage. With all the aggravation the least the manager for this location could have done was work with us better to help instead of sounding irritated with her employee for contacting her and not honoring the first month free promotion online. I'm very disappointed with our treatment.

I had such a difficult time with the pick up at an independent gas station dealer, Valero. It took nearly two hours to straighten out the problem but thanks to the folks at the Pleasant Hill location and Victoria at the Snellville location everything worked out so much better! I’m grateful that she was there because it’s clear she’s very experienced and great with customers. Thank you so much

I got charged for a unit for the month in I'm not using it they said I can get my money back since I'm not using it then they tell me I can't so I paid a month for nothing in dont get me started on the truck I got charged over a hundred dollars to go thirty miles in didnt get my refund

I wasn't able to physically be at the storage unit the 1st week I purchased it. And employee told me that they would lock the unit and have the key at the front office when. I came in to get the key to load up the storage unit and waiting in line for an hour. Once I got to speak to an employee, they told me that they couldn't get the key that was supposed to be at the front desk for me, I had to wait for the other employee, who was currently practicing horrible social distancing skills by using customers cell phone to get information about booking a storage unit. Instead of just giving me the key, they told me that I'd have to wait longer than the hour that I already waiting, for a key I already paid for, that was supposed to just be at the front office. I left. I had other pressing matters to handle on top of dropping off all my clothes to the storage unit I already paid for. This has completely altered my moving processes. I just want the key to the unit I paid for so that I can access it.

I've had storage for a yr, when going to make payments something was always wrong with computer which cause delays in my timing. Besides of a couple of ex employees , everything else went pretty well.

Ms Q and her staff are excellent to deal with. U-Haul Corporate customer service is the worst that i have ever had to deal with. I am not sure i would ever use U-haul for a cross country move again.
