I did recommend this facility to a friend where he ended up paying for both a storage unit and a 10' box truck. The staff here ( Cassie, Cassandra and Scott...) are all awesome for going above a customer's expectations and there isn't a better facility in town. They all deserve promotions and a raise ! Put damned jacks back on the trailersâ€¦. It took 3- people to hook up a loaded trailer onto my pick-up. The trailer says have at least 260 pounds of tongue weight on trailerâ€¦ that takes 3-people to lift and hook to a ball hitchâ€¦.ELVIN U.

I placed my uhaul reservation months prior to needing it. You guys call me 2 nights before needing the truck to tell me you don't have the size I requested. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle you couldn't find my reservation. Then when We were unloading the vehicle you guys kept calling me to make sure I knew the correct location for drop off. All three locations worked as expected. High five to Shawnee location finding another location w/my jeep trailer wireing system for me a last minute. We were able to get it going and on to our trip. Also, not sure who called due to installation time making me late to pickup but thankfully Uhaul understands these things happen. Ill be back next week at the McKinney location to pick the same type of unit and trip to Harrah OK.Jorge A.

The service here was great. However, I had chosen a drop off location in Co when I reserved the truck and this location was confirmed on the paperwork I received. When I tried to return the truck 2 days later, that location was no longer associated with Uhaul. I had to locate another location which was several miles away and not the closest location. En route to the further location and in the rain we the side mirror clipped the mirror of another car. Of course, the insurance I purchased did not cover that. Because Uhaul sent us further than necessary, we now have a claim to file on our insurance. I blame Uhaul for this mess!Laura W.

Staff seemed very overworked and at times could be a little 'short' but overall we're helpful and knowledgeable. Could never get through on phone, always had to visit in person for questions or help. Unfortunately, this location had to deal with a HUGE mis-ship caused by someone else in the company. I think they handled it pretty well overall - putting me in contact with the traffic director of this location, but I still did not receive my things as I should have. They were sent to the UHAUL location closest to me, but that location was not briefed on my situation, and this location did not even deliver to my home. The whole experience with UHAUL was extremely disappointing, and I don't really suggest anyone use the Ubox method of shipment.Lacia E.
Had to wait about 2 weeks for a unit to become available. The mgr. had my paperwork completed in about 15 mins. upon arrival. She explained everything well and how to access the facility after hours. My experience with U-haul was the worse experience of my life and I will never recommend y'all to anyone I know. The customer service at the Shawnee, OK location was terrible, Diane was the rudest person i've ever met for someone i was so nice to. Diane was not only rude but not helpful at all, she gave me no directions for anything when it came to returning it and all. When I tried calling customer service because I was unaware of what to do and had zero internet, I was on hold for 30 minutes at 11pm with a 1 year old by myself. I will NEVER return back and will NEVER recommend anyone. pZoee M.

Be sure to look at fuel level before and your receipt they will overcharge you our truck had a little over half in tank on there receipt it said 11/16th we went 29 miles total we had to put in 10 gallons to not get fuel at there price it filled truck up for next person watch outRussell H.

This location rented me the oldest 5 by 8 trailer on the lot. This caused me to spend an enormous amount of money on gas. Because of the bent axle the trailer was weaving behind us and caused our trailer box locking washer and nut to shear off and we almost lost control of our vehicle on the interstate. I had to switch trailers in chandler Arizona. The return trip went fine without any problems. I either deserve a full refund on my rental or 4 months of free rental on outside unit 1082 instead of only one month.Jeffery H.

Uhaul emailed me stating that I was guaranteed a truck at a location close to me that I had booked. The day I was suppose to pick up the truck, they informed me 20 minutes prior to my pick up time that they didn't have a truck for me available at the location I was previously guaranteed, and that I would have to drive an hour out of the way to pick it up. Then the moving service I purchased through uhaul on their website no call-no showed me. Uhaul customer service refused to take accountability, saying that it's a third party vendor that they have nothing to do with even though it was through their website. This was such a horrific experience and I will never use uhaul again.Avangeline S.

I accidentally set the alarm off because there were no instructions posted on the or near the unit that stated what to do. The doors opened automatically so I did not know i needed to enter the access code. Before completing the online move in now form I called the office and the lady was not helping on expaining what the process is to move in.
