I want to take the time to thank Toni, the friendly lady from Arizona that works there for helping with finding the right storage since uhaul facility did not have the right size storage for my belongings. She was even friendly enough to assist in backing the truck out of the lot for my authorized driver. She told us to save mileage on the truck by parking it on the lot next door and to use our vehicle to find the storage needed. One bad thing about the facility I can say is I know that some staff were new. They knew the size of the truck I had. I told them that I know I picked a storage too small. I just picked one online to just get one reserved and once I get there, I will get the right size. The lady saw my truck and told me they did not have a storage to fit my needs. Instead of showing me their storage size, she processed payment for the storage and I had to find out for myself the storage was too small. That was a waste of time. I had to come back the next day to get a refund because I had to go with a different storage facility. Staff should be trained to show the storage first to make sure it fits the customers' needs.Tanya R.

They wouldn't allow me to use the dolly because it was reserved for the next business day, although I was just using it and leaving it there for it to be used for the reservation the next day. They were adamant about me NOT using the appliance dolly after telling me they had a regular dolly. They had me waiting for about 20 mins at the gate while they close up shop after my card was not working to get thru the gate, the service was horrible and they did not try to accomadate the customer at all.takeisha L.

We originally reserved a trailer at a different location. When we arrived there, we waited in line for 20 minutes and watched the employee have an attitude with a different customer because the employee was upset that he was the only one who knew how to set up trailers. We decided to leave and make a reservation at this location. Upon arrival, Steve greeted us with a smile. Steve was amazing to work with! Quick, efficient and friendly! We were very happy with our choice to come to this location. The only complaint I have is when we attempted to return the trailer after hours, the parking lot was full of people and cars from the club located next door. We had the hardest time moving people and vehicles around just to drop our trailer off. It was very frustrating and time consuming.Lawrence H.

This was the worst U-Haul experience I've had, bar none. Seatbelts did not work, and when I asked for a different truck they said they don't have any (tons of trucks on the lot were apparently all booked out, but I found them exactly where they were upon my return), especially when they knew I was in a rush and would take anything. The truck shuddered at any speed over 60, steering was all over the place and felt extremely dangerous to drive.Aneesh S.

Inadequate parking that stays congested. Customer parking is arranged so that cars get blocked in easily, and because of how long it takes to get waited on, customers get very upset with each other. Although all the employees were very nice and helpful, check-in time was excessively long mainly due to U-Haul systems in place. Flow of traffic and parking need to be drastically improved before I ever use this location again.David W.

The only issue that I experienced was the lack of parking, and that could simply have been the time of day and volume of customers present when I was there. The 2 ladys or service staff at the start of my reservation and the 1 lady or service staff at the end of the reservation were excellent. I couldn't have had a better experience.Robert P.
I used the web site to choose what option to use... the web site told me that my 370z would not work with a dolly but would work with a full size trailer. after getting the trailer and loading my car on it, it was apparent that the trailer would pull the front bumper off of my $80k custom car if I tried to take it off the trailer. That is when I recognized the tire on the trailer was flat. I waited 3 hours for curb side service because the Uhaul center that I got the trailer from said they were not able to change a tire on a Uhaul. After I got to my location I drove to the Uhaul center and cut the bolts off of the guards that were going to rip off my bumper.... after that, when I showed the staff what I had done, they were more worried about the $5k trailer than they were my $80k car... the only reason I was telling them what happened is so that other people would not end up having the same experience as me but the staff at uhaul turned it into, I would have to pay for a trailer that I clearly don't give a fuck about.ashley C.

The inside was not cleaned very well, food particles on the passenger seat and residue from some spilled liquid all across the drivers door! When I got in the first time the low tire warning symbol was enlightened, I went back in and let the employee know! He took it to the back and put air in the tires and came back and said everything was fine, even though the light remained on! I was concerned the whole time while driving it that I would end up broken down on the side of the road with a flat tire or other issue resulting from the waning light!Bruce L.

Things had been fine, or so we thought, until we returned to clean out our unit #221 on 10/11/21. We opened the door and discovered water damage in the unit and a large box of personal clothing was damaged from laying in the water for who knows how long. I took pictures of the unit and there was white duct tape over this area, so that tells me there most likely had been water leaking previously, yet U-Haul rents the unit again w/o repairing the leak issue (taping it is like only putting a bandaid on it). We did not purchase insurance on this unit, didn't believe we needed to, if you take proper care of your facility. Obviously you don't and I expect to be properly compensated for the cleaning of the clothes with hopes of getting the musty/moldy smell out. I expect to be notified from U-Haul within the next couple days- if not, I will be following up myself.Jean N. | Overall Experience

I have pictures of the unit ceiling falling in and mold everywhere from the hot and cold weather causing moisture in a closed in unit. The weeds from outside began growing on the inside through the back of the storage unit. I had rat feces everywhere. I tried to donate much as I could of furniture items to Goodwill. I refused to take any of it into my brand new home. Everything else was packed and tossed in the trash. I can't believe I was paying for almost 4 years to throw everything away. It was horrible. The Uhaul truck was the only thing that was great. It didn't breakdown this time on me. I wish I could submit these pictures to show other customers. I paid on the 30th of every month which included late fees since my unit was due on the 12th of every month. I paid for Uhaul to deliver horrible services every month to me. I was offered a month storage for free with my one way truck rental. I accepted the offer, completed the online move in process at which point I was informed everything was all set to move in. I even called the facility to ensure that if I were not available to move into the unit that my representative could do so if I had completed the online process. I work as a front line healthcare provider and had to work so asked my wife to move the contents into the unit. I gave her all the details to do so, including a screen shot of my confirmation. At the facility, the buildings were very poorly marked and when she asked the employee where the unit was, she was informed that the employee could not give her any information because the unit was not in her name. When my wife finally located the unit, with no help from staff, the codes we were given for access did not work. As I was trying to care for my patients, I was also having to try to handle this chaos over the phone with my wife. Finally, my wife forced to go back to the employee and demand assistance to access the unit. Ultimately, locating and accessing the unit took twice as long as actually moving in the contents. As an extra bonus, to complete the online move in process to the unit, I had to pay 99.95 even though it was supposed to be free for month. I called the location 3/25/2021 to request a refund of the 99.95. The automated system informed me it would be a 20 minute wait for a representative. After nearly 39 minutes someone came on the line. I explained the pricing issue and was told that someone from that location would call me that day. Needless to say, it is 3/29/2021 and I have still not received a call. I am currently waiting on the phone (23 minutes so far) to try to get this resolved. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated with the entire process and would appreciate contact from someone who can help me. You guys make a point to mention on the automated phone system that calls are recorded to help keep your promises made to your customers. Bedbugs on uhaul truck and unit that got into my brand new furniture and our home on base causing us to throw out all our furniture . Staff had I don't care attitude and told my husband they didn't have bedbugs. I am in the military and I trusted Putting my stuff in a storage and I trusted using you guys tricks to transfer my stuff without any issues. Unprofessional manager provoked an argument and ultimately called the police after she made a threat to me, the customer. After renting a truck in another state, traveling for 2 days, and arriving expecting to check in with 0 issues this was the last thing that need to happen. U-Haul's system messed up my storage reservation and instead of leading with an explanation, she lead with attitude that was met with attitude. Aside from that, the other staff was super professional, especially Travis, who was actually able to articulate professionally all details about my unit check in process..Amari D. | First Impressions
