I returned my truck and the signs instructed you to wait in your vehicle. I went inside after waiting a several minutes in the truck. When I walked inside, I was told to leave my keys in the truck and someone would come out and I would have a return receipt within 3 or 4 minutes. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went ahead and left. About 5 minutes later I got a receipt and they charged me for 2 gallons of gas when I left the truck gas level exactly where it was when I picked up the truck.CHRISTOPHER M.

All U-Haul locations, agents, and employees should have the same dedication and can-do upbeat attitude as the staff at the Ogeechee Savannah location. When I called a U-Haul agent via phone, they could not be bothered to assist me with relocating my drop-off location, stating I was under contract to drop off at the listed location and would be charged additional fees if I took it to a different location. Yet when I asked at the Ogeechee store, they immediately called the inside "U-Haul traffic phone line" so that my drop-off could be changed to their store at no charge. Additionally, the storage unit I rented was not as described by the reservation agent at U-Haul. I asked for a climate-controlled unit agent stated, "they have one available at Ogeechee." Yet upon arrival at Ogeechee, they did not have any available climate-controlled units open for rent. Still, the staff at Ogeebhee worked with me to secure a suitable unit and ensure that I was satisfied with the unit rented. This store exhibited true customer service and delivered beyond expectations. All U-Haul employees should have the same attitude and strive for the highest level of customer service and not settle for a mediocre level of service.NICHOLASN D.

I ordered a class 3 hitch on line. The invoice was prepaid when ordered the week before. However, after installation, I was told that I would need to purchase the receiver insert and ball somewhere else. Although there were a number of new inserts and 2â€ balls on display in the store. In fact, the installer went to the display and showed me exactly what I would need. I was told the displayed items were for other customer orders and for store use. I ordered and paid for the entire order a week before. The items where on display in the store. However, I have to go somewhere else in order to use the hitch!!!Bruce B.

Trailer was double booked at beginning. I was offered one at another location and it was brand new with only 1 box trailer on site. Went back to original location where they felt bad for me and gave me one. The landing gear on that one was bent. Went back inside and the wonderful ladies swapped it to another trailer next to it. It was a morning but the staff took care of me. I thought I read somewhere about $50 guarantee that your rental will be available.JEFFREY W.
We rent a open trailer and we went two miles down the road and found it wasn't big enough, so we brought it back to see if we could swap it out for a car hauler. Pathetic told us that we wouldn't get a refund for the other because e left the lot we only went two miles down road then wanted another 54.95 for the car hauler the is upsurge therefore I won't be using u haul no more I rather to Penske or one of your other competitors. Final move from Savannah to FL...I rented 5 UHaul trucks and/ or Cargo Vans Only one slip up on a contract which was quickly corrected...Last trip I had a new 26ft and new cargo van. Excellent equipment and driving comfort. I always use the Ogeechee location. Super professional team members. And...purchased well over $600 in packing supplies...everything I needed!!Gail L.

My only issue was that a freeloader kept stuff (or maybe it was just Uhaul stuff) stored in the bay next to mine. That is not a rentable bay according to the maps and I rented the specific bay I did because there was not supposed to be any stuff next to it.Kenneth W. | Overall Experience
No issues with location as they were helpful! My problem is with the ubox experience in general. I don't think I will ever use this service again. Very hard to get help from phone or online support. Called several times with conflicting information received. Could not book moving help to help with unloading as the system never worked. Just very displeased overall with Ubox rental.Jeff B.

Rude staff!! It took over two hours to get the U Haul I had reservations for. They put two trailers on the ticket. The place was is chaos's!! I had a trailer, no brakes lights due to no cord being provided. I will never rent from there again!!Lawrence W.

It was impossible to close out my units using the online system. I got auto responses that it was being handled but yet nothing happened. I often could not get through to the local office and corporate office didn't have control over what needed to be done. I was billed late fees both times and it took me several hours to handle closing my accounts. The local staff was pleasant and helpful once I got through but it can be very difficult to call and get someone at the Ogeechee office.Brook S. | Overall Experience

Regarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly $200 in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.Matthew T. | First Impressions
