The staff was very confused. They didn’t have the dolly that I requested which resulted in me paying more money. The staff was not cohesive and was all over the place and none knew what the other was doing. I reserved my truck a month in advance along with the equipment needed and they took 40 minutes to get things in order to check me out. I never had any issues before with renting a Uhaul and checking out.

I reserved a van a week in advance. A van was not available when I went to check in. I was given a 15' truck. However, before I could leave a van checked in and everyone was very fast and friendly getting me switched back into a van.

Initially the entire move was scheduled through U Haul's online system. I made many calls to U Haul to completely understand and to confirm everything. Savannah mover was booked through the online system and had high star rating. Savannah mover called twice to say it was cancelled through the online system. Asked to be paid in cash at the beginning of the move. He called and asked how many people were required. I said two men were required. He and a young, small woman arrived for the move. They claimed that many items would not fit. They asked that we take apart the bed. Container was poorly packed, our other items could have fit if the container was properly packed as y'all show on your video. Ultimately we sold 3 items for far less than the value because we had no options. When the u box arrived in Houston, we were not given a time for delivery to our apartment on the afternoon before. There was no where for the box to stay for 24 hours at our apartment. I called Ubox and the U Haul location. If we had been able to have times, my movers could have easily emptied the box and it could have been returned to U Haul in a few hours. Instead I paid my movers to go to the U Haul location at 14900 Westheimer Road to unload and then drive to our apartment to move in. I confirmed this many times with the representatives at the U Haul location. Our movers had a copy of our contract, which your representative sent to me by email the day before. Your representative said the Box would be pulled out and available when our movers arrived. We forgot to give the movers the key to our lock so I ended up driving to the location to meet them. We waited for 20 minutes to be told where the box was located. We went and found it ourselves inside the storage facility. Our movers could not open it because the door side was pushed up against other U boxes. We waited another 20 minutes for someone to move it with a fork lift. I choose U Haul because I thought it would be less expensive. My original budget was $1200.00. By the time I add in all the extra expense to replace the items that were not packed, the items that were broken in transit and the hours added for my Houston mover, I will spend well over $1500.00. Your representatives on the phone and at the U Haul location were excellent in their desire to help and provide customer service. I was grateful for all of the help from each of them. But with that said I probably would not move this way again because there were too many steps along the way where we didn't have control of the move, which ultimately cost us extra money.

I waited 1.5 hours to be shown the unit. Once seeing the unit it was determined the unit was too small and nothing was available in the Savannah area at Uhaul. Impacted truck rental and move.

Poor training, poor customer service. Didn’t seem to understand uhaul’s computer system. When asked about available lots they said it’s just broke down cars that are parked there. we don’t rent those.

I had a U box shipped from Illinois to Savannah. I emptied the unit within 30 days, so no additional charges should have hit my credit card. For 3 consecutive months, my card was charged $103.55.
