Mary PFront desk check in: good. Associate was friendly and professional. Return: bad. I parked in designated return area and waited. Check-in guy starts going over his checklist and never addresses me. I approached him to ask if he needed anything from me. He said no. I said, how about the keys? My point is, he should have approached me and let me know I was free to go before starting on his part. Truck: clean, but needs at least a front end alignment. There were a lot of clanging and popping noises indicating suspension issues and probably u-joints about to fail.
Chris SReplace the staff. They continued to have non work related conversations while customers were trying to get rental vehicles. The vehicles had multiple issues and staff knew about it and still gave them out.

WARREN MUsed this location to drop off our one way trailer. This site looked much more like a dedicated U-Haul business compared to other sites we researched in the area. We weren't disappointed. Drop off was very easy and professional.
TAMMY HStaff was on they cell phones and tablets while i was tring to get a haul truck. I simply asked was it against policy to use phones or tablets while a customer is present. They snapped, told me we not renting to you go to Abercorn location.
NATHAN BOffice area was clean and well maintained but the area where my storage unit is not. The slots to slide access cards to get into unit area are not working, was told that rain got into them and they would need to be replaced/repaired. I'm shocked. The storage area is smaller, drab and unkempt. This facility has changed a lot. I was given good perks but they need better upkeep. Would I recommend? They need to do better.

HASELERIA SOnce reached drop off location (which was changed due to transporting a trailer at Uhauls request in exchange for additional compensation), the two young ladies there were dismissive, didn't want to take paperwork given and rushed me out. Only to come outside while I was speaking to a Uhaul representative to ensure no problems on my end, asking for said paperwork. Truck was checked in but not trailer. There are pictures sent as instructed showing delivery but trailer still not checked in and as if this review, no compensation received. Very unhappy with situation and how it's been handled. Will NOT use or recommend Uhaul services on the future.
Lashronda RThe covered trailer served the purpose I needed to move merchandise. During my trip, I passed several travelers pulling U-Haul trailers. These trailers had good paint jobs, unlike the one I rented which has extremely faded paint and markings.
RONALD KDropping off the truck was a seamless and quick. The staff was friendly and attentive and overall excellent.
RICARDO DAlso, I reserved a dolly with my truck rental but after I paid and went to look in the back of the truck to make sure it was there I found that it was missing. So, I went back inside to tell them it was missing and they said they were out but I could buy one from them. They didn't even tell me prior when I checked out. It made my move more difficult and time consuming.

REGINA P | First ImpressionsWe would always find beer bottles laying around our unit indicating people were partying after hours. We recently had our spare tire stolen off the back of our camper - we realized it on Dec 21 and reported it to the office. Because we were leaving on Sunday, dec 22 to take the camper out we were frantically searching for a place late Saturday afternoon that had the right size tire. $200 later we did find a place and we still have yet to hear from the manager. The gravel they brought in a couple of years ago was too deep and every time we complained they said they were going to have it taken care of but every time we left the unit we had to pull over and removed gravel from the tires to prevent it from hitting the vehicle as we drove.

BRETT DThe whole experience was disappointing. Started out with the receptionist having an attitude when I was asking questions regarding the rental. Then while trying to hook up to the trailer that was wedged between a big truck and a smaller trailer. The smaller trailer was in the way, but the employee told me to "bump it out the way" prior to getting the equipment to move it. Once hooked up, he told me we were good and walked off. Fast forward, drove 45 mins to the location where we are picking up furniture only to realize there is a LOCK on the trailer. I call the Ogeechee location to let them know that the trailer had a lock on, their solution was to bring it back because there were items in it. On the way to the Ogeechee location, I spoke with the sweetest Assistant Manager at the Abercorn location who was super helpful. She advised me to bring the trailer to her since I was closer to her location and already had such a terrible experience at Oheechee's location. Not even 5 minutes after getting off the phone with her, Kamya from the Ogeechee location called me, asked me why I called the Abercorn location, why would I get them involved, why was I taking the trailer to them, told me I was required to bring the trailer back to their location, all while another employee is talking poorly about us in the background. She then followed the conversation up by saying "Have a nice day since you want to be extra like that." She continued to call back a second time where I refused to answer the phone after being talked poorly to in the prior conversation. I have attempted to call Frank, General Manager, of this location, but was told he wouldn't be in until next week.
MEAGAN SDrop off was after hours so I did not need to enter the store or talk to the employees!!!

Joseph A | First ImpressionsI had the uhaul for less than a day it broke down on me and this location is charging me for 7 days of having the truck when they failed to close out the contract after roadside picked up the truck. Now I being charged for 7 days plus an empty tank of gas when you can't put gas in a truck that radiator fluid was pouring out the radiator
Danielle TYou are asked to sign a contract on a screen and not shown what you are signing. When I asked what document was being executed, I was told I would be provided a copy after signature. This can be improved. That said, truck was in good shape, staff did as they should, and so forth. Good experience other than issue with unclear, unprovided paperwork.

DAVID HNeed to improve customer service. They don't greet you well so you don't feel comfortable/welcomed, their is one lady named Savannah, she sounded if she had an attitude problem, don't know how to talk to people coming in the building. Just poor customer service but equipment was in very good shape, excellent condition no complaints about equipment.

JOSE RLocation was changed to here in less than 24 hours from pickup. Location is much further than reserved location, very inconvenient at last moment. When I arrived I was told they didn't have the 60 blankets that I had reserved, they eventually retrieved some from the warehouse that further delayed my departure. Truck was signed out to me with 3/8 tank but had Low Fuel Light on and was on fumes when I got in it. Girl at location was a matter of fact when I told her, she said to take a picture and show them on the other end. Hood latches were released and hood started bouncing around as I left the location. Steering wheel off center by almost 90 degrees, all tires were substantially underinflated. 4 pin connector for trailer was sloppy and fell out numerous times along 500 mile route leaving me without trailer lights in the dark on I-95, VERY DANGEROUS. R/R inner tire started separating at highway speeds (upon further observation tire was dry rotted and cracked, I have pictures)

Everyone greets you with a warm welcome if when they are busy! And they even are sometimes entertaining while you wait, having fun energetic banter amongst themselves! Love the atmosphere and the people.

HATTIE SThe driver door had to be slammed shut or it would stay open. The truck itself smelt like years of cigarettes, and the seat refused to move forward so I had to drive on my tippy toes.

They had just given out the last one. It was my daughter and I moving her whole apt. Quite difficult when we had to carry everything instead of rolling.

All my clothes are damaged. The top of the storage unit was wet looking like water damage with a lot of mold and mildew

Wandering up the corridor in darkness to get the lights to work is not acceptable. One entrance had trash people had left piled high. Explains why there are so many rat boxes around. Needs to be much cleaner and well kept for the price.

Had me waiting for over 30 mins intentionally, acting as if she was waiting on a truck to become available only to assign me a truck that had been sitting in the parking lot already . When I came back to store my items . Gave me an inside storage that was already rented with other people belongings in it , didn't activate the key card which prolonged the process , didn't give instructions on how to operate the storage card and system etc. The store manager was nice and intervened after I came back in the store for the 4th time .

The neighbors constantly left there stuff on my space and when management was told nothing was done. The rearranging of the entrance was also Spain. The only communication was for the monthly fee. Lastly, I never received a new gate opener. Had to get in and out of my vehicle to enter a code.

Sometimes the storage area was picked up and free of debris and other times it was not. Some folks made their own parking spaces as well. Additionally, trucks, trailers, and trash were positioned so as to make it impassable with my truck and rv.

The unit we had had NO working lights and our unit we in the middle. So i needed to where a head light just so i could use the unit. We i inquired about the NO lights they told me they already know about it. 3 week later still no light, So I asked again when will it be fixed. The response "Whenever we get to it" So again in the dark I moved out. This is unacceptable service. There seems to be no urgency among the crew at this location. The location does well in spite of the current staff.
