I was totally disappointed when I received my final bill. I was charged $20 for after hours drop off. This was never mentioned to me and not I;clouded in the original quote even though I indicated that I was picking up the trailer just before noon and needed for 8hours which was clearly after hours. Truck was overly worn. Clean, but beat up. Staff wasn't masked up, and was given a truck with 1/4 tank of gas. You couldn't even start off with half a tank? Additionally I was charged a fuel fee even though I brought it back over what I got it. Dillion and I agreed on pickup the truck was at 1/4. I did not take a picture of the dash when I picked it up. On return, it was above 1/4, but less than the 5/16 you rounded up to. Hope the $9 and dirty truck was worth losing a customer. I will go somewhere else and pay more for my safety and a cleaner truck.Scott Y.

The truck had no gas . Almost empty. I was worried that I might run out of gas . I returned it with more than half a tank left . When I picked up the truck the person said I will get a refund if I returned it with more than a quarter of a tank of gas . I like to know how I am going to get that. I think they should give the customer with a full tank of gas and ask them to return it the same wayMOHAMED M.

The buildings have been demolished and the temporary set up is awkward and very narrow although there is clearly more space available that isn't part of the new construction.Jane R.

We were advised to pickup the truck we reserved at one location and when we got there at 9 am no one was there it was closed. Called U-Haul and they said your truck is somewhere else. When we got there the lady was extremely unprofessional and her tone of voice was very rude. She did not apologize. I've always rented from you guys because I'm a captain in the US. Air Force and move quite a bit. But this was the worst experience I've had to date. The gas tank was also employ with the fuel light on. There was another gentleman that underwent the same run around. Things were much better in the past.FEROZ N.

Site is under construction so.... The trailer I reserved had a faulty break system. The manager had me test the trailer before leaving and identified the problem. He was able to get me another trailer that would work. Although not the same model did not have to drive to another location. Uhauls 800 number has ridiculous hold times. Contacted this location directly a had immediate phone answer and service.JESSE B.

The customer service here is terrible even with construction going on. I rent a 26' box truck, the tank was below 1/8th. They stated if i bring back at a 1/4 they will discount me. The truck was brought back at a 1/4 and they stated it wasnt. I stated i would come down and verify truck but they stated it was already rented out. They also charged me a $20 overnight delivery fee. PLUS they charged me to fuel the truck up when i have receipts stating i filled it before drop off. I tried talking to a manager and KYLE said they would call me but never did! I am going to decline these charges because theyre not correct and i CANNOT get any support over this matter unless I hear back in the next 24 hours. Thanks, Bryan GrankenBRYAN G.
Agent Dylan was the most rude and condescending person I've seen in along time associated with "customer service." Even a fellow employee said he was overbearing at times. Dylan raised his voice at customers, telling them to move their vehicles, "you'll need to wait longer since you did not park in the right place" then points the customer out of the office. I returned my trailer and backed it in front of three other trailers the same size. I had to walk a great distance in dirt and gravel, because the store is under construction, it was 104 degrees. When I got to the office, Dylan told me that I had to move the trailer, even though it was with the other trailers, to another location approx. 10 feet away. As I walked back to my trailer, his fellow employee told me that the trailer was going to be re-rented and he would disconnect the trailer. He closed out my contract from the lot and sent it to my email. Dylan's actions were appalling for a company that touts great customer service. I'll look for another place to rent a trailer in the future and make sure that I let others know the U-Haul on Willis Rd. is a ZERO!MICHAEL N.

Because of the construction I would not recommend this location. But being close was the reason I went there.When I first went to ask questions, the main building was there .The staff was polite and VERY helpful and patient in answering my question. I was told to reserve my truck one week ahead of time. When I tried to do this no one would ever answer the phone. It went to a main number and they were helpful and booked my truck. I did have a few questions the day before my pick-up time, but again no one in Roseville would answer the phone. When we arrived to pick up the truck, there were two employees in the portable trailer. One was eating lunch at the desk and the other one helping us proceeded to answer the phone in what sounded like a personal conversation. When we asked why they didn't answer my repeated phone calls the guy eating said they just sent the calls to the main office, they were "too busy"!!! (We were the only ones there at the time!) Their attitude and customer service left a lot to be desired to say the least!Carolyn M.

Customer service is great. But some of the vehicles are very very unclean beyond believe. I was given the keys to a van and I couldn't even see through the windshield or side windows. I went back to the office and they said that they don't wash the vehicles. I had to convince her that I felt unsafe to drive it . I couldn't even see through the windows. She finally gave me the keys to a different van. I've rented U-HAULS many times, since it's close to my home. But lately their pride on U-HAUL vehicles has really gone down. I will still rent vehicles from UHAUL. THANK YOUGLORIA R.

Don't make them drive for an hour and a half to pick up equipment that was rented from a location near their home. We had to travel from East of Nevada City to Roseville, CA to pick up our rental reservation, which was made for Grass Valley. It took over three hours out of our very busy day and cost us additional gas to get it home. The result was that there was not enough time remaining in the day to get the truck filled, and we had to send it on the road, just over half full, which meant that we could have done it with a smaller truck. Not that we didn't have enough to fill the truck - just didn't have time due to the inconvenience. When I wrote customer service, stating clearly the cost of the gas ($62.86) and the cost difference between the truck we rented and the next smaller truck at $205.80, and requested a refund in the amount of the total ($268.66). They responded with a measly $50 credit, which is insufficient. No one told us when we made the reservation in person in Grass Valley, that picking it up elsewhere was a potential issue. Bad business, people. So, unless we receive the requested refund, which is completely reasonable since that's what the unexpected change in pickup location cost us, we will not be using UHaul ever again. We still have the main part of the move to do, and there are other choices or rental trucks. Also your Rosevile location was under construction, there were no signs to indicate where to park, so we were asked twice to move our vehicle, when we parked in what looked like available spaces. Your people were great, the equipment was fine, but the accommodations there were insufficient to taking care of everyone, and the unexpected change to our plans had a high cost in terms of our not having time to get everything done that we had planned.. Overall, this rental gets an F- on account of SERVICE - you know, the old practice of actually taking care of the customer - was missing from the corporate practices. $50. Good grief. That didn't even cover the extra gas.John S.

I love these guys. They make it so easy to pick up and return Uhaul trucks/equipments. I always rent from this location and would recommend anyone to them. Very friendly, courteous and great professionals. Viola was exceptional just like the other guy on duty today. They made it so easy for me to return the truck. Great job guys!Francis E.
The people renting OUT tend to be not very friendly, lately. It seems since the restoration/rebuilding started several weeks ago. Usually the persons helping on returns are a bit more friendly. There is little to no place to park when renting now. The whole place seems like a bit of a fustercluck since the repairs started.John K.

Building under renovation with ZERO signs stating where to park, office location, address or anything. Once I found the yard,, accidentally, the staff were very quick to give blank, boring"I hate my job" glares. Then credit card machine was down,,,and then,,the trailer I was given was a royal piece of garbage. Straps were falling apart in my hand, 2 of the 4 wheels had 5lbs of air pressure and one with a nail in it. Which I didn't notice untill I stopped to air up the one that looked flat. Definitely won't be back which is unfortunate because of the location.!!Paul M.
The people at this location were great. The U-Haul corporate on line booking system and programming needs work. A work of work. It's clunky and cumbersome. Also though I received a confirmation for the vehicle at the first rental location I chose the system moved me twice. Had I not read the text detail I would have not noticed.Scott B.

I was disappointed that the pricing structure changed. I had checked pricing on line and it came to $244. That was with the reduced mileage rate after the first 40 miles. When I reserved the truck on site, I was told again about the rate reduction. When I went to pick up the truck i was told it would the same mileage rate for the entire trip. I was told at that time that the change to full price was made about a month ago. The rental cost me $167 more than I anticipatedâ€¦ not happy about that!LYNN O.
