There was a little issue when we returned the truck as the person wanted to charge us an extra $100. We spoke with a person the night we were going to return the truck at seven and he said we could return it in the morning no extra charge but when we arrived another person wanted an extra $100 and we had to explain what was told and he said we were misinformed. So prior to this situation it was a wonderful experience except for the misunderstanding at drop off. GraciasBJ P.
I brought the trailer back cleaner than when I picked it up and didn't get my $15 discount as advertised, full disclosure there was two leaves that fell in the trailer and I was standing next to the associate when he just used a blower for 2 seconds to blow those leaves out. This is no exaggeration, and when being unhitched he asked me if I put the trailer on , I said no and I didn't touch it , and they took pictures at every stage of the operation. I feel ripped off , mislead, and just offended by these unhappy, unfriendly, off putting 2 associates that represent usual at this Roseville CA, location just off Atlantic St and I80.william M.

I have used u-haul a number of places, This one is the worst. I have been here twice. Both times I felt like a bother to the staff, They act like they are doing me a favor in renting me equipment. They would be right at home as prison guards.Scott B.
I delivered the trailer after hours. The Uhaul app did not allow me to return the trailer. I follow the instructions on the app to adjust my phone. And it still didn't work. The app that indicated that the customer service person will call me as soon as possible. The next business day at 11:45 AM I received a phone call. I spent 15 minutes on the phone with Uhaul customer service. I got bounced around to different departments. They kept referring me to the app and told me that I could now return it. However I had to keep reminding them that I was no longer at that location. And the app does not allow me to return equipment if I'm not at the location. At the end of all this the customer service person told me that the trailer was returned. Nobody called and told me it was returned like the app said they would. Uhaul needs some serious review of their customer service.Michael C.

Hi, I just left your store after returning the broken truck. I couldn't complete my job because when I loaded the stuff and about to leave the truck broke in the parking lot. I had to then unload everything. And called the uhaul roadside assistance. The guy who fixed it said that this truck needs to be repaired before it can be used so I didn't use it. So the lady you had at the store had no courtesy to even apologize. She misbehaved and was horrible. I was asking a full refund because I couldn't do what I was supposed to do and plus I wasted so much time because of your broken truck. She was threatening to call police when I requested a full return. What kind of terrible folks you hire? I came in the morning because it was late last night and had to do other things at home. Customer service is horrible. The trailer was dirty. I was told when I return it to place it exactly where it was hooked on my vehicle. The following day when I returned it, I did as instructed. The same woman who helped me check it out said I was not supposed to drop it off there. She was rude and said she didn't remember me. She became argumentative. as of 1/20/23 there is limited customer parking (ie 1-2 spots; likely due to ongoing construction). the uhaul agents suggested i park in a office park 1/2 mile away... inconvenient! perhaps *they should park 1/2 mile away and free up a spot or two!Jason C.
This location resembles a construction site right now, and it is confusing to know where to park or even if you can. (The guy in front of me was told he had to park offsite and walk back. I parked in front of an auto body shop, which I don't think it sanctioned). Anyway, I had tried to login on-line, but I had trouble doing so, so an employee kindly did it for me. She then handed me a Post-It note with a truck number and a â€œpassword for the key.â€ First, I had to find where the numbers were on the truck (far left, top, front, btw), then I had to walk along rows of trucks to find mine. When I did, I walked around the truck expecting a key box. No luck, so I had to ask for help, and I learned the password is for a padlock to the roll up door becauseâ€¦the key is inside the truck bed. The employee unlocked it for me, noting that it's very temperamental (so why use them was my thought). I unlocked and got in the truck, which was no easy feat because all the trucks were so close together, I couldn't open the door fully without hitting the adjacent truck, even though the mirrors had been pushed in. I wish this review would let me post the photo I took. I kept thinking, â€œWhy would anybody do this?â€ An inch to the right or left pulling out, and you would make contact. Then when I did get in, I had to remove a cardboard sun deflector in the window. This wasn't a big deal, but I'm used to having a truck being basically brought out and ready to go at the selected time. I rent from U-Haul ALL the time, and this was the least customer-centric visit I have had at any location. Also, as I was leaving the lot, I remembered I needed to pop the mirror back out, and as I tried to roll down the window, the plastic handle popped off three times. I ended up having to roll it down by gripping the entire arm. On the upside, the return was super easy, but that may just be because I just put the truck in the middle of the lot (since I didn't see any â€œreturn hereâ€ signage), got out, and when a dude came up, gave him the key, said email me the receipt, and walked off. This location will need to step up its game before I use it again.Christopher W.

The lady who was working there was very rude to me and every customer she dealt with. There was no parking at the truck pick up property which wasn't mentioned until the day I arrived to get me truck. The truck I rented was old and way past its prime. I paid for several add on moving blankets that weren't in the truck. The truck was totally out of gas when I left the lot even though the attendant said it has a quarter tank. This facility is currently under construction so the staff is working out of a modular but the signage and directions are clearly marked. The staff was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you to Harrison for his expertise and to Sean for a seamless rental experience.Lisa G.

The manager seemed less than enthusiastic to deal with. She made sure to tell me I would have to return the truck after a day or two (and re-rent it if I needed it longer?). Please keep in mind that due to the rainy weather there were a dozen trucks sitting at the location. So I returned it and re-rented it (not very convenient). Minimal customer service effort and barely made eye contact??JOSEPH R.

Wills Road U-Haul is my favorite location. They are fast friendly and professional. Currently under construction, so it's a little difficult getting around right now. I didn't reserve the trailer early enough to use as my pickup location.Lewis H.
I was given a gas leaking truck that stopped on me after driving for 2 minutes. Filled the gas tank and all of the gas poured out on my shoes. Truck could've caught on fire! I was charged for the gas that I didn't use and charged for the rentalAkhgar A.

The customer service stunk! The worker handed me the key after rattling off instructions in super speed mode which left me looking for my truck on my own for 10 minutes. I finally went back into the office where they corrected my mistake, the number they gave me was not a license plate number, but a truck number that's painted on the front top side of the cab. They made me feel like I was imposing on them when I asked for help and neither clerk spoke at all! Only gave me a look of annoyance- at least that's how I felt!Cynthia S.

When reserving via the toll-free number, it's vital to know that there's no parking at this site. This was my 4th or 5th time renting a truck and I've always been able to leave my personal vehicle while moving. This time I had to go back home and get a ride, pushing back the move by an hour, inconveniencing those helping us with the move.Austin D.

Upon return of a trailer, I was charged an Exterior cleaning fee of $50. The trailer was no more or less dirty as when I picked it up. The customer service agent would not listen to my concerns and he gave back an abrasive attitude. Take your business somewhere else, this location is not worthy of your time and money.AARON S.

The "manager" who checked us out at pick up was not personable and rather gruff. There was a man in the office also who never once acknowledged us when we were just standing there at the counter waiting to be helped. Then we were made to go hunt down our truck in a mud field after having to navigate through a construction site just to get in there. At the return, Brittany was standing outside and waited for us to get all the way from the lot to the trailer before telling us to pull the truck around to in front, so she didn't have to venture far to check us in. I told her no because they day before we were forced to go hunt it down in the mud. She was obviously rather put out and just walked inside. When we went inside, she was so rude and yelling for "Dillon" who was in the back demanding that he checks us in. Having a corporate account and often renting U-Hauls, I will make it a point not to have to return to this site and encounter these people again. Dillon was the only one that was professional and pleasant.Kevin C.
