The problem was not with the location. The problem was with the process for picking up the truck through mobile 24/7 truck share. I went through all the steps, and they called my wife to confirm. I've done this many times. But this time they said they needed a to call a SECOND number. The problem is most people do not answer calls from unknown callers, so nobody answered at the second number I provided. It is a ridiculous step to try and confirm someone's identity by calling another person. If someone was intent on stealing a uhaul, they could easily have a few accomplices standing by to answer calls. Further, I am a repeat renter from uhaul. I often rent uhaul for both personal and business needs, You need to have a faster process for "known renters" or "frequent renters" or something,

The mobile pick-up wasn't that simple to do. I was in the middle of checking out, and the app reset, and then I couldn't continue the process. Thankfully, there was an employee there that helped me inside the store. He resent the text, so I could take the pictures that needed to be done before taking the vehicle.

Thw young man who helped me out was fantastic, I believe his name was Xavier. We had a great conversation and I wish him luck with his film school dreams, hope he's there next time I'm renting. The gentleman who helped me hook up was also great (wish I got his name too), made it very quick and got me on my way. Equipment was clean and worked perfectly. I will continue to come out of my way for this location and send friends/family here. Thank you for all you do, keep it up guys!

Why do I bother checking in online? If I have to scan a QR code and renter my information and take a second set of pictures of my license when I arrive for pick up.Then I have to find the van and go back inside with a code to pick up a key and scroll through pictures to verify vehicle condition .This last trip took over 20 minutes to pick up the van.Isn't online checkin supposed to avoid the lines and the long checking in process If a rental wasn't absolutely necessary this last experience would've turned me off of renting again.

Rented truck was in really bad conditions due to wear and old condition. Driver door hinge pin fell down and unilateral solution from UHAUL to this problem was to file an accident report (accident never happened) and charge close to $200.00 for this door repair.

My original drop off was at a different location. A Uhaul rep called me and told me the lot was full and I had to drop it off here. Well that added extra miles which you ended up charging me for. I dropped off the equipment early and forgot the dolly. I dropped it off the next day and still got charged. Never again.

I had a 6:30 appointment. Your worker told me they don’t do anything until 7am. I had to wait until 7am for her to give me the trailer. She also stunk like marijuana and so did your store.

Charged me cleaning fee even though I cleaned it. Can't help if it rains outside, am I supposed to clean it spotless? It broomswept with no dirt or debris; just wet. $40 is a joke to charge me.

all the agents or team members were wonderful Getting the reservation was terrible, system wide down time made it necessary to call 5-6 times and a in person visit to the location to secure a truck. Though this location RVC usually has great equipment ,this truck was old and I believe in need of transmission work usally Uhaul is much better then this last run.

Just one complaint: The elevator is an old-style service elevator requiring the outer steel door and the inner steel gate to be opened to enter and closed to move the elevator and the reverse to leave the elevator. The outer steel door is especially cumbersome to operate. The elevator alone would cause me to recommend a newer public storage facility to my friends. I want to emphasize that the staff are EXCELLENT. However, there are too few of them since U-HAUL expects customers to rent, sign in, and sign out by the Internet on our phones while being present at U-HAUL so we could take pictures of our storage facility/rental vehicle. Pictures is a good idea. I am not complaining about that.

Parking was always a problem. I was challenged every time I tried to park in the lot by employees. And the elevator is outdated and almost dangerous. Would not recommend this storage facility with so many other newer more updated ones with real parking for customers

One of my storage room was sold I didn’t get no letters I was living in a shelter at the time and the other storage room was open so I believe either the worker or anyone could of took somethings out of it and there is not no email stating they sold my storage

Freight elevator was constantly held up by guests, cart was missing a wheel causing my cabinet to drop and break and the office said oh sorry nothing they could do. Unit had no individual light and the sensors in the hall went off quickly. The walls in the unit had holes and the doors were ntlot flush so you could easy into all the units with ease.

Everyone there was helpful and kind, but the freight elevator is terrible. I have been stuck inside of it multiple times even several times on the last day I moved my belongings out. The reason that I moved my belongings out is because of the elevator and I explained that to the staff as well.

Though I ran into some difficulties getting in after-hours, Reese took my phone calls around MIDNIGHT and was able to walk me through the process and grant access to my unit. The service I received from Reese Baccas, despite my very late phone call, went over-the-top in every way, and with a positive attitude. I would not have been able to complete my project on time, had it not been for the exemplary customer service I received.

First off the elevator is not working properly I became scared to use it which is why I cancelled out the storage I had. Second the unit they gave me the door was messed up very hard to open and close and they saw this for themselves before renting it to me and said that was all they had to rent. Third the light skin lady that is at the desk is not friendly or inviting she acts as if you are bothering her the guys there are much better

Facility was well kept and the people were nice. But the back wall of the unit was cold and moist and there were no lights in the unit. The old elevator had heavy up-and-down "doors" that were difficult to lift, afraid I would get my hands crushed. It wasnt a bad experience but I can't say it was an especially nice facility.

My experience is 2-fold: I stored my stuff in the Rockville Centre, NY facility and I rented a ubox to haul my belongings out of state. It took a long time to get everything coordinated (7 hours on the phone with customer service over 3 days) but I eventually got everything worked out. The manager and employees at the Rockville Centre location were very helpful.

Of all the employees only ONE exhibited excellent customer service. The woman “Tequia” (spelling) was absolutely miserable and extremely rude every time I interacted with her. It was very stressful knowing she was working whenever I needed to go. The elevator is out dated, very heavy and at times did not work which caused delays in my day.

Darrell, not sure of spelling, and all the staff, really go above and beyond with courteous and professional customer service. Even the woman in front of me on the line (with her husband) were glowing over the way he handled their rental truck needs for a move to Florida. You must have a ton of awesome feedback on this guy...but as I said...all the workers I've interacted with had a similar friendly and warm demeanor. I'm extremely impressed. Such a blessing. Management is to be commended for this as well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. But U Haul did not send out maintenance staff to maitain the security doors. I found this to be very unsettling. U Haul put their staff in a very compromising position. I would still use that U Haul in Rockville center of NY. Because the staff was so helpful.

INBOUND CALL. NOT AN IN-PERSON VISIT. Purpose of call was to pay this month's Past Due Rent for Room 495 over the phone. Bill became Past Due because of a problem on your website which would not allow me to use my credit card for payment. On 11-27-21, at 1:25p ET called 1-800-GO-UHAUL. Reached "Elizabeth" at the Call Center. Explained my dilemma with your website. She processed the credit card payment for me. After completing processing she told me that she was "unable to provide a confirmation or transaction number because the payment is pending." End result, NO PAYMENT RECORDED. Thus, necessitating my phone call to U-Haul RVC on 11-29-21.
