I have rented multiple trucks trailers from this location nothing but the best service staff is very friendly and always willing to help you load your trailer I had to do nothing just check the blinkers and brakes and I was on my way I love the storage units at this place also they're very clean and up-to-date and heated with high security best u-haul place I've ever been to.

For the duration of my rental, the security gate was nonfunctional or just left open. When I started my contact, I was assured there would be a remote gate opener provided. After several requests over months, the remote was not available or not working. No apology or accommodation was offered. On each visit when I inquired, staff was always hard to find and not helpful when I was able to find someone. Parking spot was very difficult to maneuver my trailer into due to the tight clearance side to side as well as the limited turn radius. Parking spots were poorly maintained with a lot of junk and what apparently is building materials being stored there. Very disappointing for such a new facility. Will look for something else next season.

When people are moving and hiring help to move heavy pieces, you need to have the Ubox ready ON TIME! I was there the day before to make sure everything was set and was told it was right outside and ready to go. Don't lie to people. Just do your job and think about how it would affect you if your container wasn't ready. I had this reserved weeks in advance. You guys cost me extra money and a lot of stress. I hope you discuss this with the employees that helped me on Friday as well as those on Saturday when the box was being picked up. AND, this all falls on the owner/manager of the location. I guess you don't really care how failure on your part can case problems for the customer.

When we picked up truck and trailer right rear tire had a mismatch tire with visible plug. It blew 60 miles away. When we got truck most of way home . Start truck put in gear truck launched and almost hit a tree. No throttle was touched. When we got home it did it again this time drugged me in process. I got major road rash.

I have used your service four times at this location. The fourth time I used the 26' truck for 29 miles. I put 5 gallons of gas in the truck before I returned it. The U-Haul Employee said I did not put any fuel in the truck. I showed him the slip. He charged me for extra fuel with the bill being higher than the estimate, and I put on 29 miles not the 35 mile estimate. Never again will I use U-Haul again.

I am extremely upset! We came from FL. And had some issues with medical and finding a place to store all of our stuff. We explained it to the company and it went smoothly. But then we had to regroup and move to Iowa bc of my terminal illness is our of remission and I have to buy a house there instead. We went to U-Haul in Rochester. I tried several times to talk to the manager. She either would not listen to me or she walked away. Twice! I tried and her employees tried to fine her, along with a customer before me who was extremely upset with her. Saying she was incompetent. Lazy. And stupid. A young man Myron Miller DID try to help me. He was polite and very helpful. But he apparently was new. He didn't know the system there. I tried to explain what I was doing and he tried to help. But the manager wouldn't help him thru the process. So I sat there for almost over two hrs giving my info over and over. Trying to get it completed. The other employee (gentleman) was very nice but he had other customers he was helping. He couldn't stay to help with my contract or issues. Finally they both walked outside with me after I signed to leave. I must say this separate. I do not know U-Haul's policy. I've never worked there. So I do not know anything about ur contracts. Only what was explained to me and I read. The young man hitched up the trailer. And said get ahold of uhaul in Iowa. We left the policy open so u can drop it off when ready. One hr into the travel the lights on the right side stopped working. The trailer before that we had a flat on the hyw. Then the AC on the truck stopped two hrs after we left. When we came to our destination we told them about. I ended up getting sick and issues with my infusion meds. It was an emergency so I couldn't get ahold of uhaul right away. When I did. A lady named Gina started yelling at me. I tried to explain but she just kept going on about the policy. And I only had to drop it off 15 miles where she told me in an email. I tried again to explain where she's talking about is over an hr. Not 15 ml., So I contacted another uhaul employee. She was nice and helpful. Lori. She made it simple to drop off the transport. BUT! Then she said there was an APB out for me for STEALING the uhaul! I said wtheck r u talking about? I ended up very sick. And making phone calls to see what was going on. I've sent two emails. And left two messages. And called 507-284-4594. I explained what was going on. And asked for a manager now! The young girl said he wasn't there. She would put in the computer what I said and then said "I will talk to him in the morning. And he will be calling u.) It's been a couple days and I haven't heard a thing. So I'm very upset at not knowing what's going on. I have the uhaul parked by the police station while I wait to find out what I'm to do. Ty.

Agent at the desk was slow and grumpy. No one present to hook up trailer for me...had to wait until someone showed up for work. It took the employee 15 minutes to hook up trailer because he was slow and didn't appear to know how to do it. When returning trailer, no one came to unhook until I finally found them all outside smoking.

Delivery wise, site was great! My box arrived on time and everything was safe inside. The part that was frustrating is that I had it set up to be picked up and delivered to another site. When it got closer to the date, an employee called to set up the pickup of my empty box. I told him that it was not empty and the box was supposed to get delivered to another city. He said that could be arranged, but he didn't know how to set that up so he took down my info and someone would get back to me. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything so I called back and that lady proceeded to tell me that it isn't possible and that Rochester was no longer doing deliveries. When I told her that is not what I was told the week before she told me "no one at uhaul would have told me that" as it was known by all the employees. She was rude and told me my box had to be empty by that Saturday (2 days) for pickup. I get that changes happen but communication before would have been helpful and nice.

This was a disaster. We were originally quoted for 4 boxes. Then, when we needed an additional box, they had a “glitch” and they promised they'd look into it. They never did and we had to call customer service. When my wife finally talked to someone named Mandy, she was disrespectful and rude. She never did anything to help fix the error. This error would've costed us $3000 more than the original 4 Uboxes. One Ubox shouldn't have increased our bill by DOUBLE. Then, Mandy disrespected my wife and told her she was being dramatic. Finally, I spoke with Chris B and he fixed the issue. It was most definitely a system glitch but Mandy told my wife she could not understand why my wife was upset with the price doubling and that she needed to pay or we won't get our stuff. I went to this location to talk to the staff who had been helping us and overheard Mandy on the phone talking very poorly about my wife and the staff didn't even have our backs. They said they'd fix it and they didn't. After the resolution (which Chris fixed and we are SO GRATEFUL) then we got stuck with 3 uboxes (which we never used) on our account and we were charged rent for them. Then my wife again called to get a resolution and this location failed to help and told customer service that they couldn't fix it. So again, we had to bother Chris B (when he was taking his daughter to college) to help us become this location did nothing to help fix the problem THEY created.

The vehicle that we rented had a glitch where the key would not turn and you could not start the vehicle. We spent 2+ hours loading our truck only to spend another 30 minutes trying to get the truck to start so we could move everything to our new home. Once there, it took us another 20 minutes to get the truck started. On our way home we stopped to put fuel in the truck. We decided to keep the engine running to avoid spending another 20-30 minutes at the gas station trying to start the vehicle. Unfortunately on the side of the truck there was a warning about fueling while the truck was running. So we did not fuel the truck due to a concern about our safety/causing damage to the vehicle. We have been charged the upcharged fuel cost to refuel the truck, and I believe this added fuel cost should be refunded, as the equipment was malfunctioning to a level that did not allow us to fuel the vehicle. At the time we stopped, gas was $3.69 in our town of Plainview MN, and I have been charged an extra $26.78 for the upcharged fuel cost of $5.75/gallon. I would like someone to reach out to me to discuss rectifying this issue. Gracias

For starters, you could make sure your employees show up to work when they are scheduled. We waited outside of your location for almost 50 minutes before someone showed up, and the only reason they was because we called corporate and were connected to the MN scheduling office. When the scheduler was trying to track down an employee, they were unable to even contact the general manager. Come to find out, according to the employee that eventually came to work, the general manager was unable to be tracked down because her son took her phone and drained the battery. This employee told us that she was only able to give us 20% off for our inconvenience and told us that the general manager would contact us the next day to continue to resolve the situation. Not only did no one show up to work, it took about an hour and a half to get the truck and trailer ready. The truck also had the wrong equipment in it , which took time to get sorted out. We never heard from the general manager until we tracked her down 3 days later. She told us that she would contact us, again, the following day but she never did. Again, we had to call her 4 days later. We were unbelievably disappointed by the customer service and we will never use Uhaul again and will discourage friends and family from using this company as well.

The facility looks very nice and the features are good. The staff member that helped me was less than helpful. I asked him a few questions and he didn't provide very good answers or would say "I don't know". He then rented me a space that was occupied. So I asked him about it and he switched me to a different spot. That spot too was full. I again asked him and he said "I wasn't sure which of the two were open" so I was moved again and was able to get into a spot.

High turnover in staff which unfortunately leads to errors and issues. I had one staff member didn't know how to refund my CC for unused boxes. Another staff member at same location missed my reservation for a truck, then I had another on site staff reserve for me and they STILL messed up. The store manager needs to do a better job of preparing their employees.

The employee overslept so the store was not open. We had to drive to another uhaul store and they made the reservation for us. Got our rv parking spot but someone had left their camper in it. So we have to return tomorrow after they tow it out hopefully. Very stressed since we have to leave town(husband is an otr truck driver) and we have nowhere else to store our pickup. Also cannot reach store by phone. Wait time message said it would be over an hour wait.

Tad did a great job of explaining everything and walked us through the scanning process. He showed us the unit and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Pretty Clean facility...winter being what it is...the sprinkler system froze and broke on 1st floor during move in... the staff handled it swiftly but it was a bit unnerving not knowing if there was a fire or other issue going on. Otherwise Staff was good about explaining products and contract to me and tried to help me figure out what happened with app reservation that did not appear on record a bit of snafu with technology aspects, not a staff issue just website on device issue. Also gentleman was knowledgeable on hitch Installations so I could feel confident in requesting an one installed at another time. Thank you all and hope that buggy sprinkler system gets fixed!

from the first day I did not receive a swipe card and never was able to when I went in each time as I just being told I didn't need one though I couldn't get in after 8 without one. beginning the first month my billing was messed up because the card I used for eft was never used so I keot being billed and given late fees. you corrected the errors of late free but continued month after month and then when I canceled my account, twice btw, you did bill my card..attempted with another late fee. the storage was clean and would have been more accessible with a swipe car but the continued stupidity of every month having to call and remit further payments after being transferred to second parties and waiting 20 minutes or more..exhausting and inconvenient. you wore me out.

Ira does a great job keeping units and the units very clean. Collen was very Great Manager and her locat ion has always been very helpful. Collen has done a great job after Andy was promoted. Andy has installed trailer hitches on two of my vehicles since I moved to Minnesota in January 2019 for Mayo clinic.

The automatic sliding door to the storage was closed and locked. The doors to the indoor unloading bays were closed and not working at all. Cords across the floor made it very difficult to keep things on the carts.

This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with the company. This is supposed to be the newest facility and a secured unit and even with that someone was still able to break into my storage unit and nobody had informed me about the alarm being triggered and I found out 4 days after my stuff was stolen that the alarm was triggered and no employees had contacted me to alert me. Very dissatisfied on the actions that were taken.

The facility itself was clean. One of our storage units had some stuff leftover from the previous person. Cardboard, pictures, random small stuff but thankfully it wasn't anything gross. Other than that, everything was great so we would use again and would recommend too.

Overall very clean but there was a fair amount of dust and dirt on the floor on one (out of 2) of my units. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars instead of 4.5. Other than that, it's been great. Even being on the 3rd floor, the available flatbeds and wider elevator make it a lot more bearable and easier.

This was our first experience with renting storage, I paid 100 a month for 11 months.. Several months into our rental we went there to obtain our winter coats. MICE had gotten into everything! When we rented the unit the staff failed to put some rodent poison in our unit. I talked the guy into putting it in the unit when we discovered the mice. When we returned for rest of our items it was HORRIBLE. A live mouse was in our unit. They ate 6 winter jackets, ate into our leather couch and chair. Beautiful towels and home decor ruined. An area rug was filled with a nest and wet urine. Numerous notes are left in our account and staff aware but NO call yet from the general manager after 5 days of waiting, I certainly pray they plan to compensate for all of these damages. I have many pics as well as some of their staff took pics too. Devastating and very stressful. My young son has lost many many belongs at an already stressful covid year.

It was nice having a covered spot for our RV. Pretty good rate. People were nice, but most of the time there is only one person working, so it's hard to get someone to help you if there is another customer. It would be nice to see more help. Other than that, it was a place that was secure and we felt comfortable having our camper stored there.

We used you guys before to move stuff to South Dakota and you never cost as much as you did. Went from like maybe $80 to 250 dollars that not right. Plus the one I reserved at said I could take one cause it was put wrong. Wasn't a great experience and felt like I was priced gouged.

I had found rice and pieces of fluff from something all over boxes and furniture I had in the unit when I started moving things back out of the unit. I then realized mice had been in there after I moved a basket of clothes to the house I moved into and found mouse droppings and a nest hidden on the middle of the clothes, as well as napkins, a bag of rice, and furniture chewed on to make a nest. Mouse droppings were also on multiple other items. I ignored it at the moment because I was just trying to get the move done but I really hope this issue gets fixed for the next person who uses these storage units..
