The truck was pretty beat up. The driver door was difficult to close properly. Also, they changed locations for my pickup, sending an email at 7:30am. The new location was 4 miles further away, resulting in an additional 8 miles charges, as well as additional fuel expense. Speaking of fuel, since I was at the other side of town, I had to fill up before I even made it home, since there was only 1/8 tank of fuel when I picked up the truck. The staff at the store was pleasant enough, but the person who helped me was barely paying attention, watching his coworker check out a customer more than he helped me. It seems like he was in autopilot, giving rote comments and responses.

Called to change to a different unit. The man on the phone made me so uncomfortable calling me “dear” (come on in dear, we’ll take care of ya) I completely changed my plans and never did the move-in. When I rented the truck on the other side side of town, the guys there were fantastic! They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The guy at the south side storage units was just plain creepy.

Nothing; everything was great. And I would like to personally thank the General Manager of this store (can't remember his name, but I think it started with an R) who was there when I had to rent a Uhaul van at the last minute of 11/29/23. I came in & was upset about something that happened earlier that day. He saw that I was visibly upset about something and reassured me that everything would be ok and tomorrow would be a new day. He was very personable and has exceptional customer experience skills. Thank you for being so awesome and for your kindness that day. I can't tell you how much I appreciated it. The people have been either untrained, cutting corners, or had poor customer service skills, or the app didn't work there the last few times I have been to this location. I have GREAT service up the road at Civic Center Dr. Location. They have fixed commercial Dr locations problems twice for me now. U-Haul has been great to me over all.

Maybe in the future the staff could walk customers through the security with the pass card to ensure 1 that it works and 2 tto ensure the customer understands the in and out procedure and the enabling and disabling alarm system. It took me a while to figure it out

The mileage was not correct to what the agreement/application said was so I would have been OVERBILLED. Fuel was NOT CORRECT to what the agreement/application said so I would have had to purchase MORE FUEL The DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE was INCORRECT with scratches and RIPPED UP BED on the truck (WITH NO STICKERS TO MARK THEM) what the agreement/application said so I would have been stuck to pay for damage I didn't do... PLUS the PHONE APPLICATION DIDN'T work with my NEW ANDROID so I had to GET THE PERSON WORKING OUT to review these items wasting 1/2 hour of my VALUABLE TIME doing your job... Kind of a drag when I spent $300 for the use of a truck for a day. Mike Swan - 612-986-2504 - The lady who checked me out was kind, and understood my concerns.

I had to keep extending my rental due to not being able to complete moving my Mom. They were always friendly and courteous every time I called and extended the rental without any difficulty. It made a difficult move a little easier. Thank you!

I loved your storage unit and had the perfect setup. I stored my Yamaha Motorcycle with no problems. Mustaf got me set up with my storage unit...he was legit. Best employee there hands down. I went outside one morning to get my motorcycle out of the storage unit to get it ready to pull out for the season, and was shamed by Summer for Storing my motorcycle indoors. I had no fuel in it and had it winterized. She said..."lets get you an outdoor storage unit...RIGHT NOW!! and yelled at me. I was disguted with how she treated me. I stopped paying for the storage unit and expected it to go to collections. Savanah called me with a settlement offer and was very pleasant...so I took the offer. I had the perfect storage unit and I love the facility. I am extremely dissapointed as to how it all turned out...I wish I had that storage unit back, however, I refuse to give my business to someone who treats their clients so unprofessionaly.

On the day I came to unload my storage unit, there was a lock placed on my unit for unpaid balance. My account was on auto pay and was not overdue. I had to have the staff remove the lock which set me back moving all my stuff into my house. When I had emptied out the unit, I came and spoke to the manage and told him I wanted to close my account. He asked me to write my information on a post-it and he would close the account. Four days later, I was charged for the month of November. When I attempted to contact the local UHAul place they kept disconnecting my call, this happened 4 times. I finally had to call the corporate number who connected me with a person at the local store. I recognized her voice as the person who hung up on my earlier. She assisted me in closing my account and crediting my money back. This storage unit was expensive, I was really frustrated with how I was treated and the lack of respect in both instances. I would likely not recommend this place to anyone or use this storage unit again unless some sort of restoration for treatment happens.

Summer was extremely professional. I originally made reservation online 10/2/2023 and thought everything was fine. 10/6/2023 got email asking why I haul lost my service because I didn’t move in. Called and Summer helped me, my reservation was nowhere to be found. I went after work to do this I person, she was already helping another customer who had similar experience. Standing there waiting for her to help me listening to Summer handle the customers issue I felt pleasure to see how she dealt with this. Since and after Covid I’ve dealt and seen nothing but trouble with customer service, she’s definitely a asset to your company.

I checked in completely online, but I still had issues once I arrived at the facility. Once I took the lock off, my alarm kept going off, so when I tried to enter my code, my code said I was not done with the check in process which I was. Other than that the whole process was easy and simple. All of the employees were very nice and helpful.

Uhaul delivered the Ubox promptly. However when I asked for the Ubox to be returned they missed the date. I requested it on 8/18/2023 and it was delivered 8/20/2023. That day I was finished unloading the Ubox and asked for It to be removed be for the scheduled date of 8/25/2023 but they couldn't pick it up until a day later then the scheduled date.

The price per mile for trucks is very expensive, especially on top of the rental charge. I understand it's for maintenance of the vehicles but if I'm already paying $100+ just for miles and then have to add $30-40 for the truck and insurance coverage, that's expensive. I never expected I'd be spending $193 for a 56 mile to and back trip with a truck and tow dolly to pick up a broken down vehicle. I'm lucky I had that much to pay. But the equipment was okay to use and easy to use. The Tow dolly had a tail light/turn signal light out after it was inspected by staff. The truck was clean and well maintained. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I am extremely displeased by the services I received. The initial scheduling went very well from date of U-Box drop off to delivery date in new location. Unfortunately the confirmation was only sent to me. I had to call the U-Haul office to see if the U-Box was going to be dropped off on the date that was originally scheduled and I was told that the driver tried to contact me two days prior to the originally scheduled drop-off date so I missed the opportunity to schedule the drop off time. The driver didn't leave a message so I did not know who was calling to call him back. I receive multiple robo calls a day so it is natural for me to look at a call and not consider calling it back. I told the representative that and she said “Your box will arrive today between 9:00 and 4:00”. She did not seem interested in listening to my concerns and told me what I wanted to hear. I did not receive the box that day and had to call again. I received a call from U-Haul on the date that the box was supposed to be dropped off asking when they can pick it up. I told her that the box was never delivered and she said that there was no schedule for it to be delivered and didn't know what went wrong. Again, I was told they told me they didn't have a driver so it would not be delivered and scheduled it to be the day after which interfered with our travel plans. The box was dropped off and I was told it would be picked on on July 31. I called July 31 to confirm and was told that they didn't have a driver and would be picked up on August 2. They said the delay should allow the U-Box to be delivered to South Caroloina by the date of our scheduled flights. They guaranteed the local movers would be delivering the box on August 14. I called the movers and could not contact them due to their number being disconnected. I called U-Haul and Alyssa said that I was contacted via email on August 8 stating that the local movers were no longer providing services. I DID NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL REGARDNG THIS INFORMATION! I had to ask the U-Haul representative to help me find a local mover since the original contract stated a local mover was gauaranteed. She tried to make us look up the information and find a replacement but we insisted she help us. She did find local movers and they were extremely pleasant to work with. I will be hard pressed to use your services ever again.

One of the trailer running lights did not function. The functioning running light flickered with every bump. One tire blew out, and it was relatively dirty. Getting the equipment and working with the employees went very smoothly.

The truck hitch didn't work and I needed to exchange the truch for a different truck which took a long time. They seem to need more help ... the office was empty for 10 minutes . The return procedures seem to take a long time... the communication from phone to computer needs to be improved. I returned 2 U-boxes on Friday and I haven't gotten an receipt yet this Monday morning.

There’s not a lot of works so you have to wait in long lines when you want to speak with someone. One time I was there and it was only one worker found everything. This place needs more staff because the staff here looks like they could use more people other times I came there where two people and the lines where still long. But the staff members I have in counter are very nice helpful and you can tell they will help you if you need it

Email was not clear on what site was drop off vs storage. Team was friendly, but check-in took a long time. After equipment drop-off, I received a call stating the coolant cap was missing and I needed to return it. As a young woman, I have no clue what that part actually is and felt offended that I was being accused of stealing it.

This entire experience was a nightmare. We rented a storage unit and the staff has been stalking me about when we are moving into it since.. I wasn’t aware I had to keep the staff appraised of when we are using a unit we are renting. They literally won’t leave me alone and are threatening of renting it out from under me. Everyone that works for this company is incredibly unprofessional and we will never be back. The regional office is a nightmare. I have never had a more horrible experience.

For the duration of my rental, the security gate was nonfunctional or just left open. When I started my contact, I was assured there would be a remote gate opener provided. After several requests over months, the remote was not available or not working. No apology or accommodation was offered. On each visit when I inquired, staff was always hard to find and not helpful when I was able to find someone. Parking spot was very difficult to maneuver my trailer into due to the tight clearance side to side as well as the limited turn radius. Parking spots were poorly maintained with a lot of junk and what apparently is building materials being stored there. Very disappointing for such a new facility. Will look for something else next season.

I appreciated the staff when I checked in more than the one when I left. The first staff was upbeat and positive the one on check out was more irritated and not nearly as friendly.

Felt like only one person running the place as trucks were backed up for turn-in. Probably could add staff, but I know this is an issue everywhere right now. Kudos to fella who was on duty as he did keep things moving.

The facility looks very nice and the features are good. The staff member that helped me was less than helpful. I asked him a few questions and he didn’t provide very good answers or would say “I don’t know”. He then rented me a space that was occupied. So I asked him about it and he switched me to a different spot. That spot too was full. I again asked him and he said “I wasn’t sure which of the two were open” so I was moved again and was able to get into a spot.

Rented a trailer and storage unit. The trailer smelled so bad. And when we went in for the trailer the staff acted like they had better things to do then help a customer.
