I reserved a tow dolly that was removed from my reservation and told I had limited miles but drive 30mls north to get a tow dolly. This resulted in a 2nd trip just to retrieve my vehicle as I also had a limited time to park my vehicle on the lot. Very poor service in deed.

This is not the location I selected at all. I was guaranteed a 20' truck at the Hendersonville location and got an email less than 2 hours before scheduled pickup saying that I was getting a 17' truck in Madison.

The rental truck passenger side mirror was damaged, the vehicle needed a wheel alignment and the engine was knocking when I accelerated. Please do not rent vehicle that are poor condition and cause safety issues. The staff at the location was pleasant, the fleet was in poor condition.

Everyone needs customer service training not just one or two. Customer service goes along way for any business. Good service will gain you repeat customers and new customers by word of mouth. Bad service you will lose customers and potential customers because of the experience. Everyone should go above and beyond for each customer and if don’t know the to a question find someone who knows the answer.

There was a lack of service commitment. Understandably, Monday was a holiday and nobody wants to work on a holiday, but that is no excuse for poor customer service. I had to return inside to verify some information and there was no one in the store. A nice gentleman who was cleaning the inside of the trucks just happen to come in and assist with the issue, but the lady who had greeted us at first was rather brash with customers. There has to be some sort of customer interaction to entice the customers to return to your location for future needs.

Coming from out of state and finding this location from a goggle search then stopping into the store and receiving the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. The workers was very helpful very detailed on the instructions and how to. My daughter goes to school and needed storage for the summer. I recommended this location to my friends. Not to far from the school and in a nice location.

I know uhaul may not be a dream job for some but the staff did not seem to care for their job. The trailer was available right away which was very helpful however we did not receive any help with checking the trailer and hooking it up. Everybody was friendly but several of the people working were quite reluctant to help us.

Everything was quick and easy with no issues, honestly. The guys working were professional and had me in/out the door and in my rental truck with equipment within 10 minutes. When we knew we were not going to make our return time, we gave them a call and within a few minutes we were able to pay for another day. Drop off was even easier. They definitely made one of the most stressful parts of moving quick and headache free.

My initial months securing the storage facility were not pleasurable. An error with billing and an error with access to my storage. Unit caused me a lot of headache. The manager did work to make sure I receive my things, but it was with a lot of effort on my part. I do not like the confusion that ensued, and if I had another option in that moment, I would’ve taken it

I arrived at 7:00 AM and nobody was at the desk to assist me. I waited a few minutes and finally someone showed-up; but, he wasn't really to work had to log-in move paperwork out of the way. While waiting I picked up some tie-downs under a marked price of $16.99 and he said they are more than that and didn't check the price on the item located on the self. He charged me $19.99 and processed my order. I pay the bill and waited for the truck to arrive and some time later it was pulled in front of the door. They said the fuel was at 7/16 which was more than was in there. It was way closer to a 1/4 of a tank than a 1/2 a tank. I drove to Gallatin and filled the next day and it held 40 gallons if this is a 60 gallon tank and the gage indicated 7/16 then I used almost 10 gallons driving from Madison to Gallatin. I was cheated on wrong level of gas being placed on my account. It took me until 8:15 AM to load my car on the trailer and leave. I needed a spotter to watch me load my car and when inside to ask for help and someone said I'm coming and he never did. I got a passer by to help me load my car. The Truck was great but the trailer had seen better days. The racketing straps had to be tightened at every stop except the last one. I graded low because of bad customer service received trying to get done taking me over one-hour and 15 minutes to leave. I received no instructions from anyone to operate the auto-transport; but I watched a film before going there. The 26 foot truck and auto-transport was almost impossible to back-up and made refueling a headache each time. They changed my reservation from Hendersonville to Madison to Hermitage to Madison. I gave Hendersonville plenty of time to have the equipment I rented. I would rent a U-Haul 26 foot truck again because it was a really nice truck to drive and back by itself without a trailer hooked to it. It was a very stressful day driving that truck pulling a auto-transport with it coming loose with worn-out lock-down straps. The auto-transport needs some work before someone loses their vehicle. First, we waited 1/2 hour to be helped, with no other customers in the store. Even though we had made a reservation on the uhaul website on the 2nd of March, we were switched to this location, which was the 4th location after showing up at the second one that uhaul had switched us to, only to be told they didn't have the trailer size we reserved. We finally were directed to the Gallatin Pike location and they had to reload all our information again. We then were told your trailer is outside with a finger pointing to the direction. Marcus didn't follow us and after we found the right trailer, we told him it was parked behind another trailer. He told us he would switch the trailer on the contract, but we didn't have the time as we were now almost 3hrs into trying to get the trailer we thought we had reserved. We then had to ask him to come outside to hook it up to our truck. He hooked up the trailer, but walked away without hooking up the electrical, and checking to make sure the directionals and brake lights worked. Overall, was a very poor experience.

The employee I dealt with this morning was very uncaring of getting me taken care of. He lied to me and told me they didn't have any appliance dollys so they gave me a utility dolly when I definitely needed an appliance one. When I returned, they told me "I don't understand why he didn't give you one, we have a ton!" and showed me all the appliance dollies they had.Then said you're really going to stay here for 3 dollars? When I asked them to update my bill. Completely unprofessional...

The staff was rude and always acted like you was inconveniencing then by needing a trailer or making a reservation. I wanted a drive up unit and reserved a drive up until and they told me reservations don't matter and gave me a inside unit upstairs that leaked so.my stuff got wet. Then both times I have to get a trailer from them they said it had to be round trip and not one way. The first time they fixed it, but this last time they refuse to fix it and only wanted to give me a 5 hour rental of the trailer. Also because I never heard back from customer service like I was told when I call them I have to drive 3 hours with an empty trailer on the expressway to return it. I will never deal with that uhaul again

I reserved a unit a month in advance online and when I arrived the day before the move, they had non on the size I reserved. They rented me the smaller size and the location moved to a second floor down narrow hallways. It is not feasible to move furniture to that location so I had to cancel the reservation. Very disappointed.

The staff are awful except for Victor and a tall black young man. Money was stolen from a moving referral, the staff do not have correct info to give to customers or that is their excuse for trying to over charge people. Rented a tow behind and it was full of debris and the woman "manager" (she says) is just the worse!!!

The only thing that bothered me was the unprofessional demeanor, attitude, and the way the young man talked to me. After all I'm giving uhaul my business and money, not saying I'm special or important, it's just a way to talk and carry yourself when representing a company. Customer service ain't for everyone. There should be a class on how to conduct yourself and how to talk to your customers. Other than that every thing was fine. Now the first night I came into the facility a young man names Kaheem helped me and he was very helpful and professional.

Getting a moving truck (which we already had reserved) & a storage unit was a very long process. We arrived at 9:15, & finished at Uhaul around 10:20. And the guy told us the total, we od with card, then he told us about insurance on truck, we paid that with card, then he mentioned we had to have insurance on contents in storage unit, we pd with card. Would had been more simpler to do all different transaction at same time. But the guy was nice.

I mentioned to management upon moving into the storage locker that there was a leak coming from the ceiling. When I moved out, many of my items were ruined due to a dry rusty residue that had dripped from the ceiling during the months that I was using the storage locker. I didn't hear anything back regarding my concern about the leak and how it had been handled. I'd like to be reimbursed for the damage done to my things.

I really liked the convenience of the pull in garage for loading and unloading. I never felt unsafe there. The storage room, hallways, and elevator were well maintained. My disappointment comes from the lack of customer service. There were 2 very helpful employees unfortunately, I do not know their names. But the employee that I had the most contact with was was a younger, heavy set, black man who walks really slow, processes sales, rentals, and checkouts super slow. This man is surly and acts like he could careless about anything. Why is an employee wearing sunglasses while assisting customers at the register inside the building? Additionally, Uhaul needs to hire additional team members to support the business that this location does.

My only recommendation would be for corporate to actually allow customers to directly call the store for questions instead of a general call service. That was my only issue

Because I compleyed the online move-in, I was supposed to be provided with a disk lock by U-Haul. Apparently the facility was completely out of disk locks so I had to go to Home Depot to purchase one.

From St. Louis ya'll had everything messed up. You gave me 2 wrong rental storage locations & drop off points. Didn't have an appliance dolly for me to use because I had ordered one, couldn't find another U-haul store to rent one from, which set me back on loading & leaving out. Had me going to these places, burning gas for nothing. No lock was provided once I got to the correct storage unit. The information giving to me by St. Louis U-haul was horrible. I would recommend the U-haul storage unit in Tennessee on Gallitan Pk.

The storage still had a lock on it and it still had the last person's things left in there. It was green tea everywhere also.

Marvin went out of his way to call me and help me save almost a hundred bucks plus 40 bucks a month. I was in a hurry and needed to be done quickly and him and his team made it happen.

This business needs some more help. I've been in 3-4 times lately and the phones are ringing off the hook and service is slow. They didn't show me how to get into the drive-thru spot and it was all a bit confusing. However, once we got Marvin, the general manager, to come and help us everything was fine. He was very knowledgable and polite. I like the facility (it's very clean!) and next time I think I'll be able to get in/out with no problem.
