Overall happy with everything. My return was purchased on afte hours and had to use the app for returnin . It was quite easy but it was pouring rain The equipment had a damaged wire and luckily i had mine with me ! One thing i noticed and wasn't told , when returning after hours, they make a wall with trucks to block the trailers ar for their safety and I hahad to drop the trailer on the closest spot possible

MOHAMED Aam a regular costumers but this Friday 02/14/25 took the Pickup back a day earlier it was a worker name Keith with a Nad attitude telling me that he's been observed me like spying on me cause supposedly I always check the rentals all the time I never seen him before he also was cursing at me and threatened me told me fuck you go to the office check your shit out really he's very dangerous you need to fire him ASAP he's on drugs smelling like a weed bomb please next time I rent there I dont want to check me in or out like I said I never had any problems with the other guys even they was complaining about him .

MATTHEW AThe customer service rep was very rude and not interested in helping me get my truck. Sent me outside to get my dolly rental and my truck saying there were 2 workers outside that could help me. There was nobody outside to help. Looked around the lot for about 15 minutes and then went inside back to service rep. She called on a walkie talkie for assistance and sent me back outside. Waited another 15 minutes to find a guy come back. He wasn't very helpful with my truck. Was really disappointed with how low the fuel was on the truck when I was given truck. Literally went 5 miles down the road and had the fuel light turn on. Not a great morning start. Will never use or recommend the Bronx location ever again.

MOISES MLeticia tried. She was the only one. complete dysfunction at this location. Having to register pre-check a week prior should've made the in person process go smoothly. The opposite happened. I don't think that one should need a CIA background check to rent a cargo van for a few hours. What is the point of having to personally speak to whatever emergency contact the client has written down at the exact time that they need to rent the vehicle? And you can't rent it if your emergency contact isn't available on a Saturday morning to talk to a chat bot from U-haul? Hospitals scheduling surgery are less concerned with the emergency contact than U-Haul. Once we were finally checked in, we wandered around the three parking areas to try to locate our U-Haul. No one even gave us a hint where the van was parked. Then the equipment was not in the van. We went to go get that and they did not have the furniture dolly that we had rented in that pre-registration that makes so much sense. We got on the road 45 minutes after our rental began. Oh and guess what the "Change engine oil soon" light was on from the moment how we turned on the vehicle. Would never recommend U-Haul. I would rather buy a cargo van than ever use U-Haul in my life again.
Cara BThe front desk was helping people by moving quickly and efficiently. Too bad the same cannot be said when it came to picking up your transportation. My paperwork was completed by 10: 23 a.m. My truck was not available to leave the lot until 11:48 a.m. The tires on the right hand side had a psi of 38. When I brought this to the attention of the attendant, he went to get the air machine. I was charged for the mileage used but, what happens when you put too much gas into the transportation provided? That's what I did . The transportation provided was at a quarter of a tank. I returned it with three quarters of a tank of gasoline.. I know the next time to go atleast two hours before my pickup time because the attendant has too many responsibilities bestowed upon him.

aneuris c | Overall ExperienceThe brakes on the truck were near lethal. For the last 2 miles of my 22 mile journey I had to yard on the wheel to keep the vehicle from pulling to the right. There were all manner of random rumblings from the brakes.
Christopher HI reserved a unit a week prior to visiting the facility. I received an email confirmation outlining specific details about my reservation. Upon arrival, I was told that reservations made online do not actually mean anything. It is good to know that U-Haul falsely reserves storage units for their customers. Will never recommend to anyone and will report U-Haul for falsely advertising reservation confirmations.

JUAN DI rented the auto transport on 01/14/25 and dropped it off on 01/15/25. The person who received the trailer never marked it off as returned and on 01/19/25 I was charged an extra day. Although it was fixed and money was reimbursed service was pretty lousy.

Each time I would receive a notice was a surprise. It was something I shouldve asked about when I rented the unit. Other than that it was great storing my belongings at Ubhaul

DORIS SYou need to be more helpful when a customer does not have a reservation. Sometimes the staff does the process for you other times the ask you to scan a qr code and in more than one ocasion your site has crashed and you have to start again which cost you time.

EMMANUELA MThe customer service was extremely poor. I had to wait until she counted cash to assist me. (Mind you I was waiting even longer while she was helping another person). Then I find it online for $125 and i told her it was extremely expensive… she then says no worries I will do it from here (after her co worker told her to help me). Then it came out to $200. I had to ask the lady to repeat herself because I couldn't hear her, and she caught a lot of attitudes.

ANTHONY DA 30+ year renter with U-Haul and find it very aggravating on the U-Haul app the customer is asked 2 options - go to counter for pick up or 24/7 truck share. Then one day before my rental I received an email reading my order has now changed to 24/7 truck share??? So why even offer the counter pick up? Im old school and not to savvy on the cell phone and definitely not happy U-Haul would confuse their customers changing things, It's bad enough when I plan a 7am pick up and last minute U-Haul changes not only the time but the pick up place. I know I am just a number and this text is going absolutely nowhere but you should cater to your older customers more as we are the more responsible generation and definitely more social being more face to face then having our heads constantly staring into the cell phone when you tell a person something and constantly change things is bad business and I have noticed it more & more lately at U-Haul. You now have competition with Home Depot KEEP YOUR WORD ! The bottom line is NOT everything! Loyal customers are

He INSISTED that I not check in with the app and got extremely confrontational and rude when I continued to do so. He also ordered me to fold the moving pads as if he thought I was a soldier under his command and got combative when I told him I didn't see that anywhere in the rental documents. Overall, a good experience absolutely ruined by one terrible employee. I should've kept it the entire time instead of returning it early so I wouldn't have had to deal with him. Whoever was outside preparing returned trucks at 6:30-7 on January 2 needs to be moved to a back end role. He sucks with people
ANDREW MThank you Ms. Leticia for taking care of my military family and the gentleman who assisted me with the truck pick up. This store was amazing and made my ditty move stress free. The two staff were extremely professional and the customer service was top notch, and went over and beyond to assist me, while I was trying to complete self pick up early in the morning before the store open. Ms. Leticia also was able to correct the order, that assign a truck that would require me to return to the Bronx. She was amazing and I am thankful for the outstanding performance and patience.
Martha RPerson at return was extremely rude. Kept telling me NOT to do the return steps in the app. Told me that if the blankets weren't folded I'd be charged a cleaning fee. Nothing in the app said they needed to be folded, but he's got me out here in 36 degree weather folding blankets.
Andrew M2/3 elevators weren't working and even when they were told they didn't put a sign on the 2nd one and basically acted like they didn't care. The facility itself is fine and so is the process but some and I do mean some of the staff just gotta go. They hate their job and taking it out on the patrons.

Regine BWhen I called to ask if I needed to make a reservation, the lady who answered the phone could not answer a single question. She put me on hold 3 times to ask someone else my questions. In the store, the lady taking my credit card did not explain the expectation to refuel the car before returning before I swiped my card, even though she insists she did. She also could not answer most questions. The people who work at this location are not properly trained because they do not know the answer to anything. I did not receive reimbursement for refueling the car as I was told that I would. I would also like a partial refund for such a poor experience.

Norman M | Online Move InThe woman at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful on Sunday when we wanted to upgrade to a larger room. We had to come back Tuesday - we live one hour 40 minutes away, so it was very inconvenient. And to move rooms to a larger space, we had to get a higher floor, so needed to use the elevator; we had to come down to the office *every time we needed to get back to our original floor* to finish the move - they would not give us a code, take out license and nice us a code, do anything to make this process easier. And they were unfriendly and rude every time we came down to the office - must have been 10 times. It took hours and hours when it shouldn't have. Plus only one elevator works, for months now. We wanted a first floor space to avoid the elevators and to feel safer coming by myself, but the 8'x8' had a huge column in it, so not the full space - and you were still charging the full price. We also asked for a second 4'x8' space so we didn't have to move the entire 4'x8' into a new 8'x8', but you wouldn't give us the 8'x8' price, even though you first said you would. I cannot recommend this place. Please get better customer service.

Richard L | Online Move InTHERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING! This facility is well kept. However, the staff might be friendly one day, then incompetent and rude the next. Rarely does anyone "think outside the box," to figure out how they can effectively assist the customer. I reluctantly answered "yes" to question "was the staff helpful and friendly," because it's a hit or miss situation. Two examples: 1. I was given two 4x8 units in place of an "actual" 8x8 unit. I was told two 4x8's are the equivalent of an 8x8. Seriously?!! This was told to me upon arrival, after reserving the "8x8" online. Since I didn't have a choice I accepted what I was given. Months later... after emptying one of the 4×8 units, I wanted to cancel having to pay for it. I was told "you can't," because it makes up an 8x8 unit. Again, NEVER told this in advance, and telling a customer that they CAN'T do something in such a haphazard way, without first saying something like: "I'm not sure how to unlink one unit from another, because we view it as an 8x8...blah, blah, blah. The staff member never even considered reaching out to a supervisor to conveniently resolve the issue, which ended up being the case. 2. I decided to consolidate units. One from the 4th floor and another unit on the 6th floor, thus I rented an 8x12. In doing so, the manager literally told me that after "transferring" me into the 8x12, that I would have to ask a staff member for access each time I needed to get to the 4th floor. SERIOUSLY???!! I have to inconvenience myself in order to access the 4th floor, by constantly asking for access? Not only was this the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, but to not have a better solution to AVOID wasting my time, and having me run around like a chicken with my head cut-off, potentially having to wait on an available staff member was all a pathetic joke!! Fortunately, this scenario didn't happen. I was able to access both the 4th and 6th floor without assistance from the staff. I don't know why absurdity continues to occur at this location. Therefore, I sincerely dread having to interact with the office staff. All other workers are decent and willing to be of assistance. Although, I will admit that recently three office members have been friendly, helpful and pleasant, which was surprising and a huge relief! But, as soon as I'm able... the plan is to remove items and stop paying for storage, because I don't want to pay this company any more than I have to. And, to also avoid dealing with the office staff.

El único problema cada mes cuando iba a pagar el mes de renta tenía que esperar en el teléfono por hasta 35 minutos en ese caso el servicio fue muy malo..otra cosa al rentar un carro hay demasiados trámites y te preguntan hasta tres veces lo mismo . También errores cuando recibí el truck en cuanto a la gasolina afortunadamente tome un vídeo de la gasolina que recibí en el carro que rente , por que querían hacerme un cargo extra de 14 dólares por la gasolina .. si no hubiera tomado el vídeo me había hecho el cargo . Fue una mala experiencia..
