All of the staff from the register, cleaning crew, the people that show you the storage rooms, the area where you return the trucks & the people answering the phone were pleasant, extremely helpful & very professional. They had alot of patience answering my questions & those of other people on line. I have been there several times over the last 2 months & always had a good experience. Please tell your staff often that you appreciate their hard work & dedication. They are a true asset to your company. I live far away from your storage & truck rental, but I keep going back there because of the excellent service. Also, the manager William was always available, no matter how busy he was. He talks to his staff in a professional manner & is supportive to them. You don't see that too often anymore. Thank you for your excellent service. Have a great day!

DIsorganized!!! Needs a better workflow for communication on how to return the vehicle and close out. We returned our vehicle in the bottom of the lot behind the store/pick. After went to the desk to ask if all was closed out and ok. The woman appeared confused and told me we had to return in the bottom. We explained we did that and she said everything is ok. 5 hours later i get a call saying i have to return the vehicle and I said that we returned it at 1pm. They then called someone - said oh i see it there and ok will close you out now. Charging me extra, when i returned the vehicle with gas tank full more than 1 hour earlier than paid for. Not such a great experience.. Would not recommend.

We called this in to the facility, which forwarded our call to someone else, but no one advised on what to do. It was very uncomfortable driving the van, and we are not happy with the experience.

Angela C.The app was glitching and when I arrived it took me 30 minutes to gain access my account, although I had already made sure I was able to access it prior to leaving my house. Then the app glitched even more, skipping past the prompts for me to check fuel level and report the existing condition of the vehicle. This was a very stressful beginning. Then within 2 miles of my trip the light came on indicating low fuel level. When I returned the vehicle, I added $50 of gas for having only gone 35 miles and I was unaware that if I had added just a touch more gas, I would have received a $30 refund for the refueling that I paid so much for. This is extremely unfair, because the previous user had clearly not added enough gas, since it had made the fuel gauge turn the light on within 2 miles of my driving it. When I spoke to someone about this issue, I was told nothing could be done. If the app had not been glitching, I would have been able to know what the expectation from me was, but the app had skipped past the prompts that would have informed me about how the process works. Another VERY STRESSFUL part of the experience was that neither of the 12V outlets were working. My cell battery was getting low quickly, and I had brought my charger but I was relying on those 12V outlets. I went to great extents to ensure my phone would have enough battery to return the vehicle, and luckily I made it work out, but whoah was it an adventurous night for me!!!

Mara Eugenia P.Absolutely horrible experience this morning. We arrived at 9 am for our 9 am reservation of a 9 foot cargo van, one way to the Bronx. I completed self check in, was charged on my credit card, and then the representative said that they actually had no vehicles - the van I reserved was apparently never returned, and the only vans they had were for local use. Taysha Blackstone made little effort to help us, instead taking other customers in the long line while we called Uhaul's main number for someone to help us. I eventually paid for a second vehicle after two hours without help from Taysha and on the phone with multiple U-Haul representatives. The point of a reservation is to reserve a vehicle. Customers should not be charged for vehicles that are not there.

I made it clear (so I thought) to the staff member my concerns, my desires as this is my first time ever with a storage facility. Long story short, upon receiving my contract, the insurance I requested was not incorporated into my contract, although I did mention as well as fill out the form, that I desired insurance coverage. I also requested to not have a climate controlled unit and I was assigned one and then told I could not transfer until after I made the first payment. I had to go back, another time and have another staff member add my insurance coverage. Based off of that initial experience, I wouldn't have recommended this place to anyone. However, I've been a few times since that initial experience. I will say based off of the service I received on this date 11/12, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The late afternoon, evening staff seem to be much more attentive, and pleasant.

It also concerned me when I saw mice . I know people can be dirty but I was shocked like damm they at a storage place too . Other then that I also didn't like how every week I was late on the payment it was a 30$ charge for the each week that went by . As if the storage unit wasn't enough .
