Tried renting a one way uhaul in person and was told they did not have any even though there were dozens of trucks on the lot. I was told I'd need a reservation a week in advance. I then booked a one way uhaul online and picked it up from the same location, same day (30 min later) and same person with no questions asked. Seems like they're not interested in renting uhauls one way or even trying to be helpful.Neil P.

We had to wait in line for around 30 min. The associate was not at his desk and we had to wait for a long time. The truck provided was not tidy, There was a used mask of someone in it.KRISHNA N.

The counter girl does not know her job. Took 15 mins to get my reversed u-haul truck. The truck was so dirty.BEK L.
Reserved a 10ft one-way truck online. Could not check in online (even as the app was asking me to), because the website continually was not working. Which meant I had to add to my check in time in person. My truck was â€œavailableâ€ on site, but worker told me they couldn't find the key. Spent quite a few minutes waiting around as they looked but key wasn't found - which meant I had to either rent a different truck there or go elsewhere for a one way. I was already pressed for time and decided to just get a different two way truck there, and although they gave me a $50 guarantee reimbursement, the workers didn't seem apologetic at all, and I had to make even more of a trip to return the truck back at the same location (this also meant refilling with more gas as it meant more mileage). While the return of the truck was quick and easy, I wasnt happy with having a reserved truck not useable due to negligence of keeping the key safe, and a little bit of remorse from the workers also would have went a long way.Russell A.

I was billed too much for gas. Because the service people did not check me out when I finished, I only learned this later when I received the bill by email. To contest the charges I tried calling back but was on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up and I had to return to the location in order to resolve the bill. They ultimately credited me, but only because I had photographic evidence that the gas gauge was the same level as I arrived. The second issue is that there was frost on the underside of the roof inside the van. As the day warmed up the frost melted and dripped all over my belongings in a very extensive way.DAVID A.
The hours posted online are not what there practicing. The access codes for doors don't work the access cards your given don't work on doors .the security system is below par. I was charged for gas even though I filled up the truck right before I dropped it off. This is unacceptable and I will follow up with the branch directly, as I have taken photos of the fuel gauge upon pickup and return and I also have the receipt from the gas station. There seemed to be only two employees helping customers on Saturday morning when I picked up my truck and only one employee when I returned my truck on Saturday evening. They were very helpful and curteous, but I had to wait a significant amount of time to check in and out. I suspect Saturday is a busier day and would need more employees to assist customers. Additionally, the furniture pads I reserved were "out". There were none left. The employee informed me I would be refunded, which is fine, but I actually needed the pads - because I was moving. I hope that you can increase the stock of your supplies.RACHEL A.

I found it very, very odd that you asked for multiple phone numbers in case you couldn't get in touch with me. This is an invasion of privacy. I can't recommend renting from u haul based on this requirement. It makes no sense. If I don't answer my phone, you're going to call a relative? You have my credit card, what more do you need? The person helping at the counter was kind but the experience overall was poor. Truck smelled very bad in the cabin and was very dirty. Coffee stains all over and trash in the center console. Ordered moving blankets and they just threw a crumpled up ball of blankets in the back of the truck which gave me no confidence these blankets were cleaned. In all my past experiences with uhaul these were neatly folded. Gas was only at 3/4 full tank. Light on dash indicating a problem with the gas cap. No one went through the truck with me or went over the dents and dings, that responsibility was put solely on me and I was supposed to upload all the scratches and dings myself? No one told me about this and the truck was covered in scratches and dents, this would have taken me an hour to go mark everything. This process should be handled by a uhaul employee and not the customer.GRADY S.

Terminate NICOLAS LOPEZ the current general mgr. He is RUDE and retaliated against me because he was wrong about the COMPANY REFUND POLICY. and had to give me a refund he told me I COULD NOT HAVE. WILL PROVIDE A LINK SOONESTEPHINO B.
The only problem with this location is that they do not provide parking for customers to leave their cars as they rent from Uhaul. They have 2 "disabled spaces". Another time I rented a van a month or so ago I was told by the employee at the desk said that they DO NOT have customer parking. She had said that you have to find a spot on the street. The street El Camino doesn't have parking. This is not acceptable that you are renting a Uhaul but telling customers that you don't have customer parking. When I dropped off the Uhaul last night I did notice 2-3 cars parked there. Another thing that was confusing was the key drop. I checked out online. The key drop had containers but I was able to lock it. No instructons were by the key box or online. So I left the key. Appartently it was still there when the office opened.PHYLLIS L.
