Nothing but problems. Shed got broken into, not the staffs fault, BUT FAILURE TO NOTIFY me was. Then several times I was unable to access my shed for up to a week. And WAS NOT NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE that I could not access my shed. Twice this was a important time and both times ended up costing me a lot of wasted money. There was minor trash left behind in the truck cab, rolled out from under the driver's seat. In these uncertain times, the trash shouldn't have been there. Was reassuring to see the staff wearing masks, they were cordial and the check-in and out process was easy. A little more attention to cleaning the cab, but overall a good experience and I would rent from them again.Hal T.

the price was the only issue. Anything that could be done to control cost would be good. The other thing was the telephone, it took over 20 minutes to get anyone to answer the phone so that needs improvement.David G.
Very nice, secure storage units that are reasonably priced. The online rental was a breeze. Most of all, the staff really goes above and beyond for their customers. Extremely accommodating & very fast to come up with alternative solutions to serve individual needs. I'd rented a too small of unit for my items, and Rhett was awesome! The guy that helped me was great. Everything else about the experience sucked. I should not have to drive 380 miles out of the way to get a overpriced trailer. My entire experience with Uhaul was great with the exception of one issue. My total rental cost was just shy of $700. However, when I returned the truck (a day early), I was charged an extra $40 for extra mileage. This was a surprise to me and, in my opinion, a poor way to do business. In December I Wrote a check and a month or so later a payment goes through with a note saying checked destroyed no check and I never received an email about it. In January I made a payment for 38.74 which email said I owed I paid that and In February I get an email saying I m late on a 49.95 payment for January +a 10.00 late fee .staff was not friendly and has to wait for a while till someone came in the office to help you.karen r. | Overall Experience

Total nightmare in dealing with UHaul to locate a trailer. Our reservation was not honored and we had to find an alternative. We finally did, it the trailer was bigger than we needed and double the cost. It wasn't a one way - which we needed - so not only did we have to pay a lot more, we had to cut our trip short to return the trailer. Your reservation process - that relies on people keeping their â€œreturnâ€ commitment, sucks!Paul K.

I was ok with the Storage units them selfs. But Uhaul needs to find away to guarantee a customer gets what they reserve. From the beginning of our renting a van in Sacramento and then to get to Redding only being told there was no sheds available then sent to Redbluff told there wasn't a hug one but we could have two free which was oas ok but. The only problem we had is that when we made a reservation with U Hual in Ogden Utah, for a truck, we were supposed to get a 30 day free storage unit in Chico where we moving to. But when we arrived the store units at U hula in Chico were not available and we had to unload and store our truck load of furniture and household goods in Red Bluff. This caused us extra mileage and therefore extra expense. Not Red Bluff's fault. But irritating that the original reservation did not work as planned.Daniel C. | Overall Experience
I was doing the contactless pickup by my mobile device. I zoom ended up having to go inside because the keys were moot in the pick up box. When I had asked the unpleasant employees I was first told, well iclosed last night and you were picking it up when we were open. Then when I asked what's the point of doing the mobile contactless pick up the employee just says...oh ya. And three unpleasant employee hours back to doing whatever he was working on. No sorry or anything. Then as I was leaving the counter the next customer vibes up needing propane. The Dane unpleasant employee tells the customer that it would be 10-15 minutes before he could help him. (But there was angry employee working)Bryan K.
My reservation time was not honored. I didn't get my vehicle until 1.5 hours past the reservation time. By the time I loaded my vehicle and arrived at my destination, it was closed - it had closed 3 minutes before I arrived. The entire trip, fees and gas were a complete waste.Heather G.

When I arrived the entrance was not marked and did not have lights, once i was in the building it took me an hour to get the truck at which time I was told to go get my truck and that it was around back. I walked around back where I had to pull out my phone because there were no lights. I was not shown my truck by any employees and had to inspect it by phone light. The next day I received numerous calls from the uhaul location because they did not properly setup my rental contract. whenever I called back I was routed to customer service and not the actual store location, and whenever I asked I was tld I could not be transferred to the branch. customer service said that my contract was not opened up. I called into customer service numerous times, each time having to wait 20+ minutes to speak with a representative. When I dropped off my truck the contract was still not opened, but the next day I saw I was charged on the card I provided to the branch location, and to the card I used to make the reservation. when I called about the double charge I was told i was not charged. I just received another email showing that I was charged an additional $95 dollars without explanationKarl T.

I've never had an experience like what we experienced. The vehicle soon after we picked it up put on the tire indicator light saying low tire. So we pulled over saw it was low filled it up and tried to make it home. A three hour tour turned into an 8 hour tour because you're insurance that we paid for gave us a window of an hour and a half for the roadside service to come and help us didn't bring a tire with a rim because he found out that the stem on the tire was messed up. The customer service needs improvement. I was not charged properly the first time and had to complete two transactions. We were shown to the tow dolly, but then left standing in the parking lot while the employee walked away. I had to ask where I was to get my rental truck. The cab of the truck reeked of marijuana and in the box bed of the truck I found dirt and leaf remnants of marijuana. Also, the manager of the location allotted me 60 extra miles on my contract that was not applied to my final bill and the charge for the little tiny hand truck should have been $10.00 not $21.00!Amy C.
I just want to say in a trying and stressful time that the staff at this location have been more than kind and accommodating to my situation. They made and extreme stressful few weeks a little easier by not only their kindness but their help as well. I want to give special comment on Darren who helped me from Truck rental, to storage rental, to transferring storage units a smooth transition all the way. I also want to give special comment about Eric who helped me as well a few weeks ago.. again he made a difficult situation better. Windshield was not cleaned and truck reeked of marijuana. I called and complained. I was told they would swap trucks but mine was already loaded with furniture. When i returned it two days later still smelling the person at uhaul said, "it's that time of year." That's unacceptable. The truck should have been cleaned better or put out of commission untill it didn't reek. There was a very big mixup and confusion with the reservation that was made for myself in moving my girlfriend from Chicago to Rocklin. I was supposed to have a much larger truck that would allow me to take only one trip from Chico to Rocklin and instead when I arrived after driving 3 1/2 hours to red Bluff from Rocklin to pick up the rental that I was supposed to have and then found out it was not available granted the location did call and leave me a message however we were on back roads were service was spotty and I did not receive that so once we did finally arrive we were notified that my truck was not there and they couldn't guarantee how long it would take for it to be there due to the additional time constraints we had for our other events I had to except a much smaller truck and now I am having to take multiple loads instead of one load only. There was a small compensation that was offered and applied to our account but it was an additional waste of 2 1/2 hours that I would not of had to waste because the locations in Chico had the smaller truck had I been given this information More than an hour or two prior to needing to pick up my truck. I just view it as a poor management of time and organization to offer some thing with no guarantee was very upsetting.Travis K.

Class act by the both of them. Given Uhaul royally messed up my order, I am not recommending Uhaul to anyone, and I will never use it myself again. There were two guys sitting there when I arrived and neither one of them wanted to take the time to help me. They literally just said leave the keys in it you're good. I had some boxes that were unused as well as moving blankets that I was supposed to be given a refund for which I never did receive. I did ask the one guy and he just said will make sure you get what's coming. I just feel like they did not want to tear themselves away from their conversation they were having with one another to take the time to help me. My overall experience that U-Haul was so deplorable that I will never never never again use your company for my needs. Nor will I allow anybody in my family to do so and I have told everybody I know how awful of an experience I had with U-Haul.Rachele J.
Truck was so extremely filthy that the inside of the windshield had thick dirt on it. The registration was not completed correctly, and if I didn't check on it a few days ahead of time, would not have had the right size truck. This was very stressful as we were moving to another state.Keith B.

My original rental was unfortunately scheduled for 1 day rather than the 4 days i wanted. I called customer support and added several days, intending on returning the trailer on a Saturday. when I in fact returned the trailer a day early on Friday, I was told it was late and additional charges would be added.
