My only concern was my payment was the 14th of the month I moved out on the 15th very next day and feel you shouldn't of kept my entire month payment. A 5 day grace period should have been granted and I had to move trash from in front of my storage that someone else left. The crew from Greensboro and Lexington, NC were wonderful. The crew from Lynchburg, namely Hailey, this ubox delivery person, was very rude, brought 6 boxes without any covers and hung up on our attorney. She also brought her boyfriend onsite when delivering the initial order which was 7 days late. Her demeaning attitude was not appreciated during the entire experience. It was also disturbing to learn that this was a her boyfriend was a NON-employee brought to my residence. Joshua Polk did try to rectify the situation but at that point we had brought in our attorney. He worked his day off to get us the uboxes and went above and beyond to get us on the timeline to not falter on our sellers contract. The Greensboro crew were very professional, timely and easy to work with. My Highest Regards go to the Greensboro and Lexington facilities, as a lot of this that happened in Lynchburg would have been avoided if they had been in control. Over all, the experience were a success as we got all of our items delivered and uboxes returned without any more issues.Sandra R.

I was not explained that I needed to go on app before I left location to verify gas, mileage and condition of truck. I attempted to do it a mile down the road and my link was no longer valid The truck had prior damage on outside and did not have a full tank of gas as indicated. We finished early and returned it with more gas then we used and explained to staff situation. They advised they would check it out and I would get a final bill later. Again no instructions to go online to return vechile and no paper work to verify anything.Patricia F.

The vehicle was clean, however the drive train was clunky and should be looked at. Also, when providing a vehicle, I expect it to have a full tank of gas.Warren W.

We had a very unpleasant experience today picking up our uhaual trailer today in Greensboro, NC at 7203 W Friendly Ave. 1st off, your technology of having an employee right in front of you send a link to your phone so you can upload your drivers license is completely uncustomer friendly. The link didn't work, so Chelsea had to do it via her phone. 2nd off, we rented a furniture dolly for $10, but there wasn't one available. We had to wait over 10 minutes for a very unfriendly, unhelpful person of the male sex tell us that our receipt would be amended to change the furniture dolly to a utility cart. It's been several hours, and no change received. 3rd, was told to drive down and someone would hook up our trailer. The same unfriendly male came out and went to a trailer, assuming we would know which one we were getting. After he hooked it up, he just walked away. No thanks, your good to go, nothing. As he was walking ff, we had to yell at him, our we done? He yelled back, yeah, as he kept walking. Mind you, we are standing in the pouring rain! I don't know this male's name, but he definitely needs alot of customer service training, and/or a new job he doesn't have to deal with people.TIMOTHY B.

The truck performed well and met my particular requirements. My only concern that I had which I shared with an employer at the location where I rented it from was that I felt there more play in the steering wheel then expected. There were times during the 58 miles (mostly highway) that I had the truck where I didn't feel comfortable steering the truck.PETER S.

The UHaul app has a lot of glitches that need to be addressed. I thought the app will make pick up and returns easy. I had issues uploading a picture of the odometer upon return. There was no update available to fix the issues. The app was uninstalled and reinstalled only to have the same and new issues.Bryce W.

The Greensboro location was ok except my box came 7 hours after my scheduled drop off and they picked it up a full day late with no notice on either end. The uhaul location in Milwaukee was TERRIBLE. My mover went to pick up my box at 4pm as scheduled only to be told that they won't let people pick up their boxes after 4. There was no indication of this anywhere and my mover has confirmed the day and time with them earlier that day. I had to sleep on the floor because my bed was in that pod and I planned on having it. When I called the next day to confirm the time that my mover would be coming, the people at uhaul in Milwaukee said they can't look up my order to even see if it was there and ready. Fortunately my mover was able to get it the second try.Caroline D.

Rented a motorcycle trailer for two days. Get charged $53.25 twice and a charge for $441.81 for who knows what. This for picking up a trailer and returning it to the same location. Try to return after hours and my account says no rentals. Call 800 number no one available after twenty five minutes. Give up.Dennis J.

They had to switch my trailer 3 times before there was one without a break light out. Sadly, on the fourth one I could tell she looked unsure when we tested my brake lights again and sure enough when I got to my storage room the right taillight was out! Not cool.MAIBRI N.

When a customer declines insurance, don't charge them extra anyway. If we needed it, we would've said yes. My husband was asked by the manager if he wanted insurance for a 2-hour in-town rental. Most of the employee here are friendly. I deal with this location a lot as I rent storage units for my business. However sometimes i have difficulty with a few who don't seem to know how to help with my request. Last week I simply wanted a new swipe card and both employees did not know how to program the card and I had to come back another day. As far as this visit. the employee talked so fast going through the rental agreement that she had to repeat everything twice because I didn't catch what she said. The alarm was going off the entire time I was getting everything set up. That took close to 45 min and it was still going off when I got done filling up my unit. Also got a nasty past due email and when I called the lady couldn’t tell me why. Unnerving especially considering I verified my free month in advance. The storage unit doesn’t work. I have to have my truck turned in at 9 am. I came to put my sofa in the storage unit at 8:20 am, only to find the storage building denying my access, both with my swipe card and my access code. I was told by staff that the storage access doesn’t always work, but this is of great inconvenience to me as a paying customer. I now have a large sofa in a truck and have to sit and wait. I don’t want to be charged an extra day for the truck and I would like to be able to access the storage unit that I’m paying nearly $100 a month for at my convenience.Lena B. | First Impressions
