OMG!!! This is the best experience I have ever had at uhaul!!!
Clarify online that your location on W Friendly in Greensboro NC is a rotation location and the trucks must be returned to the same place. When someone books a truck online, they assume all locations follow the same guidelines. If your location is different in any way, it should be clearly spelled out prior to registration confirmation. I read through everything before booking because I was trying to save money, and ultimately I ended up wasting an additional $83 because I had to drive an empty truck back to the original pick-up location rather that one closer to my destination and was charged by the mile.
I would like for someone to explain to me the rental tax that I was charged
Excellent customer service. The lady at the counter was very efficient and knew her job well. She was able to take care of us within 5min. Also, knew the answer to my questions.
Jazmine was so kind. She took my reservation over the phone, assisted when I didn't know where the hookup for my pilot was, and allowed me to change the cargo trailer to a larger one. She made everything fast and efficient. Great customer service.

Location was incorrectly marked on the map where the truck was parked. Associate could've been more professional and assisting me in locating the truck. The truck was filthy inside and outside. The pictures of the truck appeared as if it had just been washed inside somewhere. But it definitely was not.
Girl cussed me out to move the truck out of the way, gave me an attitude. Person inside the place gave a sarcastic and know it all attitude towards me. I never have been treated that way, I work for the public too. They need some self control

Very easy process and the staff were kind and knowledgeable.
Please add the ramp to your trucks, not sure if we got unlucky with an older truck but without ramp it gets harder to move heavy stuff inside.

The store was messy. The person at the desk was very rude and unapproachable. The uhaul was dirty! The check engine light come on the same day i left in the truck. The prices were extremely high. Never ever consider doing business with this store or uhaul again. Not happy. At. All.
You should not call a trailer 6' by 12' with ramp if you don't have a full 6' ramp. I rented it and pulled it almost 100 miles only to figure out it would not haul what I needed to haul because it would not go through the ramp and gate area.

Trailer was a little muddy inside ! The girls did amazing job hooking it up and unhooking it! They were very diligent!

U-Haul has embraced the internet, text mesages, image uploads, etc. to make the transaction of renting/returning a vehicle so easy!

Everything was really great and easy to reserve. My only complaint is I wish the truck had cruise control. After driving over 1k miles, my right foot was a little fatigued.

A bit more space between boxes and counters. But it was fine.
Great location! Staff VERY helpful! Only suggestion is that the truck be full of gas when picked up and return full of gas. Tank was 3/8 full which is not a lot of gas AND it's VERY difficult to fill to the 3/8 mark.

My Uhaul nightmare. Took my truck to the location a few days before the rental date to make sure there would be no issues. Truck was inspected for and electrical issues, turn signals, breaks and load capacity. Was told everything was fine. On rental day I was told my truck was not able to pull the small trailer. I was able to borrow a larger truck and came back the next day. Was told that now I needed an electrical adaptor, another expense. Finally was off and trip went with out issue. Returned trailer that evening and was told that my name was not in the system to return the trailer. I explained that I rented the trailer earlier that day and gave her my receipt. It was then reveled to me that the trailer was reported stolen. I was not happy to hear that then and I am still upset. Driving a truck not in my name pulling a trailer reported stolen.
Charged for an extra day and mileage when it was delivered on time.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with my uhaul Ubox service. Not only did I trust them to get my goods safely from North Carolina to Michigan but I actually paid extra for insurance to ensure I had coverage in case things get damage. My grandma before she died bought me a picture that I had hanging in my house. It was packaged perfectly with the pads given and upon arrival it was shattered. Although upset, I understand things happen so when I submit a claim to simply have the picture reframed, the insurance company supplied by uhaul said it was not there fault and to go after the loading company that they recommended. Not only is this improper enforcement of the insurance that I PAID EXTRA for, I had to wait over 4 weeks to hear back from the insurance company stating that “times were busyâ€. I do not recommend Uhaul to anyone after this poor service nor will I be using it again. What is the point of paying for insurance if it doesn't cover the cost of broken goods in transit. I am very disappointed.
Your fuel policy and charges are ridiculous. Please change them!
Everyone I came in contact with was great. I love the environment and energy here at this location. Moving was made very simple.

On the initial pickup I was connected to three different trailers before I suggested a different adapter for the lights. I was given the adapter but not told if it was a rental or a purchase. When the trailer was loaded and on the road it started to rain. Once at our destination we discovered the trailers roof leaked and boxes were wet. We submitted pictures and talked to a uhaul rep but were never offered any help or options such as a swat out. I have never rented from uhaul and probably will not consider this company again.
Absolutely no gas in the tank when I arrived. Didn't want to stop on my trip, so I returned it with 3/8 of a tank
Only one check out person on the weekend makes for long lines, however he handled the situation very well!!
The wait was a little long.
Reserved larger storage unit on first floor but when I showed up only 5x5 was available. I recently had back surgery and cannot carry items up and down stairs. I am highly disappointed and agitated.
Price could be a little cheaper on mileage, but overall great.
I believe when a company lacks integrity and can change policies without notifying the customer, this is not a good company and I will soon terminate my business with u-haul and I hope to never use them again
Everything was fine until checkout. When I was ready to move out of the storage unit (August 17, 2020), I went to the front office to notify them. They said they just needed to do a walk through. I have receive numerous emails and statements in the mail where late fees were assessed. I have had to call 3 times to try to remind them I had already moved out. Extremely frustrating to get through to someone and then my account still wasn't fixed. Hopefully, after today's call everything was concluded.
Found water on the floor in my unit and a few items were wet because of the water.
Please offer discounts for college students. Especially when there is an emergency evacuation

everyone was very courteous but the facilities were always full of garbage and debris dear the units, and not enforcing log in alarms kept going off were very annoying.
U guys helped me when I thought I was not going to be able to make it. Thank you on behalf of all the college students that you have helped.
The loading dock was in need of some cleaning as there was a lot of water along the dock which also had an awful smell do trying to maneuver the carts through the area without your items getting wet and hoping not to drop anything that would fall into the water was a bit difficult. Not sure where the water came from but it covered the soles of our shoes and it hadn’t rained so not sure what was going on with that but the dock smelled like vomit. I wish the doors to get into the units were wider. It was very hard to get my furniture especially sofa and loveseat into the door of the 10’ x 10’ unit.
My experience with Uhaul was great. They were very accommodating and my items were safe and secure for the duration of my lease.

The evening work staff didn’t seem to know job. It took 2 hours to get a storage unit.
The storage unit doesn’t work. I have to have my truck turned in at 9 am. I came to put my sofa in the storage unit at 8:20 am, only to find the storage building denying my access, both with my swipe card and my access code. I was told by staff that the storage access doesn’t always work, but this is of great inconvenience to me as a paying customer. I now have a large sofa in a truck and have to sit and wait. I don’t want to be charged an extra day for the truck and I would like to be able to access the storage unit that I’m paying nearly $100 a month for at my convenience.
Had issues with using my password code to enter and exit the building. Staff at this location was very helpful with assisting me with the issue.
I am very pleased with my experience at Uhaul storage on West Friendly from 2015 until 2020.

Complained this week while moving items from my unit that the the bathroom was very dirty.. male staff member made several excuses... but didn’t clean it..
The process of moving into a new storage unit as a student was complicated and stressful. My information was entered in wrong and trying to contact someone about the errors was difficult. When I brought up the errors the rep did not seem to care about it and just shrugged it away.
I have learned to never recommend any place, that is the reason I selected no. But, when I picked up the van, I had attempted to do the online part but that failed, and couldn't get a response online. The guy working the desk was creepy! Made weird comments about how I did things perfectly, the system was just acting up. He took a pic of my ID for some reason, never had that happen before. Couldn't tell if he did it with my credit card also. When I asked him about it he said he didn't do it. The guy had his volume turned up on the phone and I could clearly hear the picture taking sound. I have cancelled my credit card because of this and now concerned about my drivers license information being out that. I feel I need to get the redone. I am expecting u-haul to reimburse me for this expense and provide me with an explanation of why he is taking picture of my id and possibly my credit card.
My family and I are appreciative of the deal U-haul storage offered for college students during this difficult time. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
The Gentlemen that was helping was very nice, but able to help pick out a unit. His coworkers did not help him much. It took an hour to get a 10 x 10 and then they could not print a document that stated what we just did. Nice place but painful get a 10 x 10. Very pleased with my experience with this location for the short term storage of my belongings and rental vehicles.
The storage is infested with roaches! I told the manager and she lied and said she had everything fumigated to only get my things from storage and it had roaches all over it. Horrible!

The storage facility was amazing...clean, safe, well lit and they even had rolling carts available to help unload. The U-Haul personnel were courteous and helpful.
When I went in the systems were down so had to rental of storage manually. Showed reservations on my phone however gave me a list of units that had higher price than online. Lock ordered but not avail

Extremely unhelpful employees--Arthur and Julian proved not only apathetic but actively unhelpful. Unable to answer basic questions like where is my ubox. I wasted hours on the phone with CS
I am awaiting a credit on my credit card bill for the final month's payment. The April payment had already been posted to my AMEX card, but a credit was to be issued.

The customer care reps where very very rude and unprofessional the late fees suck. Every move month you have a auction for 1 month ! Give people a break!!
I noticed that shen I moved out, some of my boxes appeared moist. The back paneling of a bookshelf also had this moisture problem. I also found poop on a couple of boxes (but found no culprit).
