I am so confused and bothered by what happened with my uhaul experience, and would really like to talk to someone. I was blamed for Uhaul not having the truck ready for me at the time that was available on the website, the employee lied and said she called me the day before and tried to leave a voicemail but it wasn't set up, when my voicemail box is set up, I lost my movers because the time provided wasn't available, and when I called the hotline, I was told that it was not on the hotline, the actually uhaul site had messed up and I had to talk to them. I feel like I was taken advantage of, lied to, not given any compensation. I don't raise my voice or complain but I expressed that I was frustrated and was told that that was on me. This was an awful experience, I do not plan to use Uhaul again.

I was here on Saturday morning and witnessed a situation where a customer acted very inappropriately. This young man was hostile upon his arrival, interrupted my interaction with Zakiah Cole (which she handled perfectly) and then was yelling at Javier with profanities and threats to ‘find his boss on LinkedIn and get him fired'. As a witness to the situation I was very unsettled but wanted to extend my gratitude to Zakiah for her extreme professionalism and kindness to me during this hostile situation. She was very respectful and helpful in attempting to change my vehicle. I encourage you to recognize her utmost professionalism and kindness. Thank you Zakiah!

I asked if there was parking around the building and I I could renew it every 2 hours via the app. The woman literally could not care less and told me it was not her problem and that I should 'just get a ticket or drive home and uber back'. I think there may have been something wrong with her. The owner (also very weird) defended her and then threatened to not let me rent the van because I told her that was information that maybe would be helpful to their customers. Just a complete lack of caring (mind you there were like 10 spots on the one side of the building that she could have suggested I check). Also, the online pickup process was completely messed up and didn't work...which then in turn screwed up the process of charging my card in the store. The owner took my card for about 5+ minutes just trying to get it to work. Avoid this place.

A mistake from the truck pick-up location in St. Louis, I was dispatched to the wrong location in Philly: with the storage unit at one place and truck drop off at another. After a stressful move, 3 days of driving, during a global pandemic, losing time driving to the wrong location in a city I didn't know, and then showing up without the storage reservation with only 2 hours to unload by myself, I nearly broke down in the lobby once I realized the dispatch mistake. Tears were welling. Precious was behind the counter watching all this happen. She immediately stepped in, asked if I needed water, got me a unit and assured me everything would be okay. Without a doubt, Precious was the person I needed in that moment in time. Beyond stellar customer service, she showed me how Philly gets it done. Precious is a leading person in the story I tell people about this move. And everyone is grateful she was there to help me out, as am I. [Precious, if you're reading this, 💜]

Front seats of our rental van were absolutely disgusting with dog or cat hair. It tells me that during a time in a pandemic, they are not cleaning these vehicles properly. I always rented from a different location but this one is closest to my home now. I will never rent from here again.

There needs to be some contingency plans from a national level for UHaul for a lot being full. This is the second time I've rented a truck and ended up returning to a full lot, with customer service telling me there was no way to change the drop off location and leaving it up to me to find metered parking until the next morning. Had I not called and made sure it was moved after I dropped it off, I would've been charged towing as well. I don't understand how there isn't a national strategy for lots being full, to direct someone to another lot or to reserve more parking space for the trucks. I am grateful to my customer service representative for doing the best she could but the fact that she was not supported by UHaul with a strategy to figure out how to resolve the situation was poor work by UHaul

Actually get the order correct-- don't leave out the dolly and furniture pads that the customer prepaid for. Don't let your mask fall halfway off your face while talking to customers and then do nothing about it. Relatedly, don't disappear into the manager's room and then emerge with no mask on and act like nothing is wrong. Actually unlock the padlock of the back of the truck before loaning it to the customer, or at least give the key of the padlock to the customer. Pick up the phone. When the customer comes back to your location in person for the key because you can't pick up your phone, provide it to her instead of arguing with her about whether or not you gave it to her. Keep track of which key goes in which lock on which vehicle so you don't ask the customer to drive the UHaul back across the city just so you can unlock it because you don't know which key goes in it without trying ALL YOUR KEYS in the lock. Don't deny you were the one that helped your customer earlier when the customer saw you an hour ago and specifically complimented your distinctive manicure. Don't have every single employee at the location make bizarre excuses about why they don't have their spare keys with them (e.g. "I left them in my car and I left my car back at home today"-- WHY ARE YOUR WORK KEYS IN YOUR PERSONAL CAR???).

The manager/assistant manager are the only people who know how to run the place. Everyone else depends on them to get their job done. The result is that customers are waiting in line 30+ minutes with only 1 or 2 people in front because the manager/assistant manger are doing other people's job. Also, I was charged twice for the insurance on my rental.

The billing was easy and was notified of each payment. We found out when we went to remove our belongings, the storage unit I paid for was not the storage unit the items were in. A lock was added to our unit stating we owed for several months. The lady who assisted us told us she needed to find her phone and then she would remove the lock added to the wrong unit. It was very frustrating we were not treated as a valued customer. We had to get another employee to help us since the previous person was too busy finding her phone. She also deactivated our key so we couldn't get in the elevator until another employee noticed we needed help and assisted us. We also heard her yelling with the customer before us. It was very uncomfortable and I felt bad for the customer.

If you require customers to wear a mask (as you should), make sure your staff abides by the same safety protocol! Both times I went, staff were either not wearing a mask or wearing a mask below their mouth and nose. What's the point??

The only Reason that I do not give an excellent Rating is that I had to go back to the facility the next day to close my contract. By that time they already charged me an extra month. The people in store solved it with no hesitance, but I had to go back to the store. I was lucky I decided to stay in Philadelphia for an extra day. If not, I could have not done the reclamation.

This location did not offer a way to receive your keys without waiting in line. They seemed to be short-staffed (not the workers' fault), so I waited for over half an hour just to finish my mobile check-in and get my vehicle. I also didn't see a way to find my vehicle without getting into the storage unit area of the building, which requires an access code. The process was unclear from the mobile instructions, confusing, and wasted a big chunk of time on my moving day. Make it easier on everybody and just put the keys in a lockbox!

I was charged 200 miles when I only drove 9. I went back to this location the following day to dispute this and they claimed I would be getting a refund by the end of today. I still have yet to receive a refund and I will have to go back to this location AGAIN tomorrow for the third day in a row to fight for my refund. This is such an awful experience and I would not recommend this to anyone.

When i went back to return the truck i had a query regarding the re fueling. The way I was spoken to was extremely rude. There are people who get tired after a days work and so was I. But that doesn't mean one gets the right to loose their control on a customer. Hence is tead of creating a scene in front of other customers i quietly left re fueled and returned the vechicle. Make sure the web app works across all browsers. It did not work with firefox so I was not able to upload my picture of the dash to show what the actual mileage of the truck was which was pretty far off from what the last person reported.

the cargo van was outstanding, the reservation process is tedious in the extreme. It takes twice as long to reserve because the user is constantly having to decline page after page of unwanted services. Better to list them on one page with the option to click Next if one only wants a rental vehicle.

My comment is not about the location but with the Ushare online app check in process. I understand they want to cut the check in time in half with the app but I found it to be more time consuming then checking in normally at the counter. Part of that is with the attempt to call my alternate contacts which I didn't know was a requirement for picking up the rental truck. That information should have been given to me at the time I had a choice to either use Ushare or check in normally.

Pick up was at 10am we arrived at 10am and were not able to get the truck until 10:30 putting us behind schedule to meet our movers. Mobile website check in did not function and customer service representatives refused to assist us with check in until we were well behind schedule and demanded help repeatedly. This was the worst and most stressful part of our entire moving day.

Well for starters work on your app, it's terrible and does not work. Secondly try to control your greed. You charged me over $ 30.00 for driving for 20 miles for fuel. Are you serious? Assuming your vans get 10 miles to gallon it should be $ 6.00 at most. Shame on you. I'm will post my bill on social media so others are not taken advantage of like I was. Shame on you!!!!

Overall poor customer service. Owner was aggressive & when challenged about are customers given a grace period he didn't feel “comfortable” renting to me. Then relented... If I didn't NEED the uhaul, I would've walked out. Rentals were back to back allowing only 15 minutes to ”maintenance” a truck upon return before sending it back out. Wouldn't dare rent from this place again nor recommend it to anyone.

As a result of the mix-up, my family began unpacking only to find out that the unit was too small & there were no large units to accommodate us.
