I have never had a professional Experience at this location. Today I picked up my rental and was I informed that there is not enough gas in the tank so -I need to immediately go to a gas station to fill the tank. This is unacceptable. When I returned the truck at 10pm, there was no adequate parking for for 15 foot long truck-the only stall available for parking is at a sharp angle and no safe for a long truck. Thirdly, all three employees were on their phone while customers were present-they did not greet anyone, nor engaged in eye contacts-their tone was impersonal, cold and uncaring. I am embarrassed to be calling this my neighborhood U-Haul.YANG V.

Better customer service. I was greeted with â€œdo you have a reservationâ€ and I said yes. The next follow up response from the rep was â€œwell are you gonna give me your name?â€ Not sure who likes to be spoken to that way, but I don't. Then I get into the vehicle and there is a nail clipping in the cup holder! Absolutely disgusting! So it was obvious this vehicle was not cleaned at all. Then I get charged $20 for dropping it off shortly after business hours. A complete rip-off. Never again. By far the worst experience I had using U-HaulJason K.
Terrible customer service! SO unprofessional and RUDE! They charged me for the damage that I am 100% sure that I did not do, but I cannot prove it cause I did not take photos! When I went to the store to talk to them about it, the woman at the front desk was surprised too, because she told me that they checked the car the first time and reported that there is no damage, and for some reason, the car was checked the second time and there was damage reported. I had encountered a woman working the front desk both on pick and drop off, one of the rudest and unprofessional people I've ever met. Literally kept calling me stupid under her breath. Was mumbling the entire time so I couldn't hear her. And when I would ask what she said, she would give me an attitude and continue to mumble under her breath. At the place where I picked up the van. Customer service is horrible. Representative was really unskilled; every question that I asked was responded on a sarcastic way. I rate her as the unprofessional way. She didn't fix the passenger side mirror. Due to the fact, was so unprofessional I took the van knowing that I could fix myself. I was told i was not allowed on the premises in 2018. They locked my storage unit. They changed my door code. I had NO access to my stuff since then. Even AFTER a $900 payment, imI STILL remained LOCKED OUT. I was never given access, i was never notified, i never heard ANYTHING from them. As far as i was concerned, my stuff had already been sold when they had the police called because they thought i was running a business out of the unit, then thought i had hazardous material, then they assumed i was living there. When I went back to U haul to talk to someone about it the store was completely empty and I was alone in it trying to find help for 10 minutes before a manager came out of his office. Customer service was horrible. The associate was speaking to me with her mouth full of food. She could not care less what I was asking for. Gave me a truck that was blocked off. Then when I came back to let her know, she wanted ME to know the number of the other truck blocking it. She did not even want to get off her seat. Then she gave me keys for a new vehicle but never sent the right link to my phone for me to check the fuel level and pictures. So I had to come in to see her again. 1)Reserved storage unit wasn't available. I got a smaller one temporarily with a promise that larger one will become available and someone would notify me. That never happened. 2) On the first visit after office hours entry was not granted to the building. Other people were going in without problems but I couldn't. I had a full car of things to unload. Despite numerous calls nobody assisted and I had to use another storage unit in NJ. Office worker had to do something day later to fix the system to make sure my access is working. 3) On the first month automatic payment didn't go through and I was charged late fee. All information provided for the payment was accurate (I took screenshots). I asked for more details so that I can clear it up with the bank but I never got any answer from U-Haul. Also, there was no notification that my payment was rejected. System notification was sent days later when late fee was applied. 4) office staff (not the manager) was actually helpful, but system failed on all other placesUros K. | Overall Experience

UHaul employee forgot to unlock hatch of back before I drove off, so I had to come back to get her to unlock it. She was very nice and tbh we were cracking jokes during the whole transaction so I probably just distracted her. Other than that great experience. Dealing with U-Haul in person as well as on the phone in general is always a pleasure. The people are efficient, courteous and knowledgeable and they don't speak like drones with a script - they actually listen to what you say and answer your questions. I'm not happy with the new policy of assigning a vehicle without gas requiring the renter to fill up BEFORE use. I was given a credit of $12 but it required $18 to fill it to bring it to the required 1/4 tank and that was before I used the vehicle. Then I had to fill again after use. That is a duplication of effort, 30 minute waste of time and if I arrived 30 minutes late, you would have charged me more money. I still like the location and by comparison to others, its good but this policy is disappointing.Katherine S.

The van was actually brand new. Awesome! It was shockingly easy to drive and I was almost sad to return it. One issue was that I kept ending up in "M" mode instead of drive, causing significant confusion for me and occasionally high RPMs. I wish that I had known that I could try to extend my reservation on the mobile website so that I could have done one more errand.SIMON R.

Staff could not communicate well; another staffer, Angel Butts had to do everything for the other staffer. The process took well over 40 minutes to complete. The only snag was that there was some junk (plastic sheeting and cardboard pieces) in the bed of the truck, presumably from the prior renter, that I didn't notice at first. When I got on to the highway, these things started blowing around and blocking the rear view window. It was pretty nerve-wracking having the stuff blowing around suddenly.NATHAN K.

I booekd a 15 truck on line. When I went to pick up at 7 am, there was no truck available for my booking. She could not pull up the booking. I have no idea how the booking was not showing on the uhaual system. so I had to cancel my movers, get another uber to another location again and they only had size 10 truck. I lost time and money, and had to leave most of my furniture behind. leather sofa, piano, electric fireplace, leather diining chair and table, lamps, tents, camping chairs, wrapping materials, dishes, kitchen wear, .....Uhaul did not give me a size 15 truck that I had booked. I had to leave my itmes behind and I was late for my trip and my moves. horrible , nightmare...The location that gave me the size 10, the girl was super rude and ignorant, charged me 10 for blankets that I didn't order, put the drop off location far away from my home and wrong address. did not explain a thing. when asked for help or info she was very rude. the truck did not have winshield washer fluid, was empty but gas was marked half full. horribleMOJGAN A.

Answer the fucking phone. I had to completely change my reservation from a different location and no one was helping me through the process. It wasn't until I physically arrived at a completely different location to get some assistance. Poorly handed and the location part of returning the trucks is literal crap. When I reserved, I chose to pick up the truck and dolly with my smartphone. The truck was not outside when I got to the site, so I had to go inside. The location was busy and there was only one employee working. She finally found my reservation and pulled the truck outside. However, there was no dolly in the truck, so I had to go back inside. When I started the truck, there was a tire pressure sensor error, so I had to go back inside, yet again, wait in lone, and have her give me a new truck. The rental itself was fine. When I returned the truck, I was apparently charged for items besides the dolly that I did not rent or have. The gentleman on duty said he would remove them from the invoice. Everything went very smoothly until I actually needed to use my unit. Access hours are clearly marked as 5am to 10pm. I showed up at 8pm and GUESS WHAT??? It's apparently not access hours! I don't care if your access hours are only 4 hours a day… LABEL YOUR HOURS CORRECTLY! I can't think of anything more aggravating. I've used this storage locker multiple times in the past and always had incredibly positive experiences until yesterday. Off the bat, the woman assisting me was irritated and distracted while chatting on facetime. She then said she couldn't assist me because they were closing, despite it being 40 minutes before closing. I had to insist to at the very least get my key card and unit #. Additionally, the online hours for this facility say office hours go until 8pm and storage access until 10pm. But I was told I'm not allowed to go anytime after office hours, which apparently are until 7pm. My reservation was not ready when I got there after reserving it 4 days prior. The staff didn't give me any explanation and then told me they could retrack my "reservation", after I was already frustrated for standing there with no answers for over 20 mins. I was told I could use my own lock then they told me I couldn't agree I got there wasting $30 on a lock.
