I was charged for a damage/missing fee with no explanation. There is no damage to the vehicle nor is anything missing. I have contacted the company and submitted for a call back ASAP. The $150 charge needs to be refunded to my card ASAP. This is unacceptable.Krista M.

I reserved a 9x5 open trailer 4 days before pick up..I drove almost 300 miles to move my son. When I called I was told they didnt have one available but would contact me when there was one at another location..I was told 2 times they would send me a text with the location and address..I never recieved one. So not knowing my way around I drove to 3 different uhaul places and was finally told what address to go to..it was a very frustrating experience.KARIN D.

I had already spent an hour an a half trying to get into a truck because there were â€œglitchesâ€ in the truck share program. The original rental location I reserved at had no clue about anything to do with the uhaul trucks and didn't have the equipment I needed. I was on hold with uhaul customer service for a half hour and then after an hour and a half still had nothing resolved. I then had to call this location and reserve a truck on my own with no help from customer service. I wasted two hours of my day and when I finally finished with the â€œeasyâ€ process of returning the truck the key drop on the outside of the building was missing so I had to put the key in one of the truck share slots. It was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul!BRANDON O.

They need a better 24/7 drop off box. I have been to other U Hauls and they all have a good 24/7 drop off location. If they are scared someone taking they keys, they can make a small hole on the wall of the building to drop off the keys.BENJAMIN R.

Was told to return truck at 6 pm the next day. Was not notified that return key was ripped off the wall. Was also not notified that I had the return the key the following day so 13 hours after it was supposed to be returned . Two employees were walking out the time I showed up the Attitude I got was less than happy... they told me the original person I checked out with told me wrong information and to wait to turn keys in at 7am Monday morning... Rented utility trailer, no option for partial day rental after 24hrs, e.g. 2.5 days., had to pay for 3. Website wasn't clear, asked upon pickup. There was some confusion with agent about this until supervisor clarified. When I turned the trailer in the attendant mentioned I turned on time, to which I said I had another 17 hours on my 3 days. I had called the day prior and was told that all the auto transports were not available because they were booked. I was told to call 1800 go-uhaul. After waiting on hold forever I made my reservation on the website. I booked an auto transport from the location I called originally and was told none were available. When I brought it back the other 3 auto transports that were there in the morning were still in the same spot. I'd like to clarify that my interactions with the staff were all top notch. They all seemed really friendly and courteous and they all seemed to be working really hard. My negatives are as follows: 1. mobile check in took way too long, 2. The truck I was renting was quite dirty and 3. I was sent out without the appropriate equipment. 1. Mobile check in was awful. I sat waiting for 45 minutes waiting for approvals and responses from the app. I ended up having to go inside to check in for my rental. Not the locations fault by any means but definitely something that should be addressed by the overall company. 2. I finally got the key to the truck and found ash all over the seats and floor boards. It actually looked and smelled like someone smoked a few cigarettes in the truck and just ashed on the seats and floor boards. In addition, there was an open cup of mystery liquid just sitting on the floor and trash in the passenger seat. In general, the truck was just in bad shape. There was even a massive dented up area that my moving crew even commented on. They were surprised that U-haul would let a truck with thier make on it go out like that. 3. I called ahead and scheduled the pick up of my Ubox . I was told that this request was attached to my truck reservation so that everything should be ready to go when I got there. Between the poor mobile check in experience and having to document so much stuff wrong with the truck, I was an hour behind schedule. I was told to drive the U-haul truck to the Ubox loading facility down the street which I did only to get there and find out that none of the towing equipment was loaded onto the truck. Fortunately, the man at the facility was incredibly kind and offered to go get the parts that should have been loaded for me so I wouldn't add unnecessary miles to the truck. That was amazing of him and I wish I were his name down so he could get recognized. At the end of my experience, I ended up falling an hour and a half behind schedule and I lost 45 minutes of the time I booked with the movers I booked on the U-haul site because I was late. Just a poor experience. Great employees attitudes however; I have to make a note of that I would have been far more upset if not for those employees that helped mePaul B.

I purchased the insurance for rental. The customer service rep said I did not have to clean the truck because I purchased the insurance. So I did not clean truck. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee plus the tax. Never again will I rent from U-Haul.Ricky R.

I wish I could give this more stars, but every single time we ever talked to a U-Haul employee we had negative experiences. They clearly do not hire people that are friendly. It's especially bad as this was my first experience using their storage facility. It was very confusing at the beginning how we were allowed to enter and exit the building. Every time we asked for help they were unfriendly and somewhat unhelpful. They spoke to us like we should already know exactly what we are supposed to do. I had a huge sense of relief whenever we stopped using the storage facility yesterday. The facility itself seemed maintained well enough. I felt the price was fair.
