They were going to charge us and we are not joking the highest bid for them to move it 3 miles from Panama City U-Haul to my address at N. Gray Ave. the highest was $15,000 and the lowest was $2500 for them to give us our stuff back. I will never use you guys again I will never use U-Haul ever in general for any kind of towing truck stuff and I will absolutely make sure I tell everyone never to use your company again especially the pods it is a very cheap knock off version of the pods and it ripped my bank apart in the military didn't even get to help pay for it all because they can't cover $15,000 for them to drive 3 miles. Never again Will I ever use U-Haul for anything not even to buy boxes. The guy at Panama City location we talked you was amazingly helpful he helped us load it onto a truck and we just rented a truck and did it ourselves but the fact we were told it would be $99 for them to deliver the pod from U-Haul to our house but when the customer service guy called places to help the highest was 2500 in the lowest. was 15,000 to drive 3 miles with my things. They tried to charge me for 140 miles instead of the 35 I used. Because they didn't inspect their vehicle or clean it and get the proper odometer reading before I rented it. It's a good thing I took photo evidence before I left and after returning. Every time I rent from U-Haul they try to charge me false charges just to get more money out of me. I was told that I would be reimbursed for the mileage I did not use; I am not sure this happened, looking at my receipt. I also returned the van one full day early + 2 hours, but was charged for the day I no longer had the van, after I returned it - as they claimed that the vans were in high demand and rare to get, I would have thought they might give me credit for the early return and not charge me for the day after I returned it. Rented a car hauler, brought one from Arkansas to Panama City, that was fine trailer was OK and the price was reasonable. But nobody explained to me that it was gonna cost me almost $300 more to bring a trailer exactly the same back to the same location in Arkansas. They told me it was because of supply and demand that they did not have many on site yet when I hooked mine up they had nine on the lot. Plus the one I brought back was in poor shape, one of the fenders had broken welds and bolts on it it was hanging out and the straps were frayed the attendant even had to cut 6 inches off of the strap just to get it started through the ratchet yeah you say you maintain your trailers. But the main thing is explain to me why I paid $300 more to bring the same trailer back to the same location I think it's price gouging just because it's Panama City which I lived in for 25 years and it's not so pretty anymore!Kye P.

This facility is very understaffed. My first time there was returning a 26' truck and vehicle trailer. I pulled into the wrong driveway, but there was no signage directing me to a different entrance. After I stopped because I couldn't go any further, I was scolded by the guy on the golf cart for going the wrong way and told "next time come in the other way" As if there was going to be a next time and I intentionally came in the wrong way after driving 850 miles. Call and in-person waiting times are very long. Climate control storage doors were often propped open, of course reducing the effectiveness of the climate control. After the free month, I moved my stuff out, because it cost me too much in time and related issues. BTW the A/C didn't work in the 26' I rented.
