There were about 4 employees just sitting around talking I waited and waited then when I finally said excuse me they helped me, I told them I wanted a storage unit I rented a uhaul and 1st month should be free well she said no out of city I said well I moved from Jacksonville she said doesn't count then said we would never make any money if everyone got their storage for free come on?! I found that to be so rude I was asking for the deal that y'all sent me cause I got a uhaul truck! I still got the storage she said the one I reserved wasn't available so I had to upgrade for even more I wasn't planning on $105 a month and I'm soooo upset about it honestly and will pull my stuff out before next month terrible customer serviceSARAH W. | First Impressions
Very busy 15th st dealer that is understaffed but gets the job done. I have been there at least 5 times with trailers, a truck and a dolly that I hauled from Fayetteville, AR, and the personnel are always quick to check the equipment in. They have always been very courteous.Nicholas C.
I showed up and waited for over an hour to get equipment. One I went to get the trailer it was full of debris. Upon return of equipment it took almost a half hour before anyone came to check in equipment.DAVID L.
Wyatt said he could not issue the $40 credit for bringing back the truck a day early and I had to call the toll free dispatch center to get it. Just an extra step after a 1600 mile drive. The seats in the 15' truck were very comfortable. The only issue was 8.9 miles per gallon mileage and no cruise control on this truck! GraciasDOUGLAS Q.

It's a giant location so that is nice. Employee who showed us where to park the trailer and did the return inspection seemed frustrated that it took my husband more than one try to back the 12ft trailer into a narrow spot between two other trailers. Otherwise it was an ok experience.Sarah B.

The vehicle had mechanical warning lights on for tire sensor. I was told it was the only vehicle available. I did the reservation online. However, I found the clerk at the pickup location had zero customer service skills. A very poor typist on the keyboard resulting in much extra time retyping what has been entered at the online reservation. She handed me keys, gave me a contract and that was it!!! No conversationâ€¦ not even a thank you! Very poor. The attendant on the lot when I returned the truck was very helpful, polite and courteous. Should be commended.MARK M.

Really appreciated the efforts of employee Edward Hatcher who got my trailer hooked up in short order even though he was only outside employee on a busy Sunday morning.Kudos to Danny Lawrence as well as he made my rental return a piece of cake. I dropped off the dolly Friday evening. The staff was quick and friendly. I had the same experience with this staff on three other occasions. I will drop off the Truck later and am sure the experience will be the same. Both the pickup and drop off sites are understaffed but still do a great job. I recommend some form of profit sharing as an incentive to stay with U-Haul.Nicholas C.

Terrible customer service. I called to add one more hour and went from $109 to 166. And yes I used 23 more miles but where did the rest come from. So when I went to the location they were very rude and unprofessional said if I didn't know how to read, clearly I want charged incorrectly. Who tells a customer that?? Moved from Texas to Panama City Beach the Uhaul was horrible, the Tow Dolly even worse almost lost my vehicle twice the straps would not stay on the wheels until finally we bought chains a straps and locks to keep everything in place. Then when I found out that I had a month free storage I thought finally something good kmbo nope the CS Agent made me feel like I shouldn't be there got wrong size unit had truck half unloaded but unit was 2 small after the third attempt finally a right size. I fell while unloading due to unlevel ground and gravel, couldn't hardly park for unloading for the water. This trip cost over 1500.00 and not one once of Freaking kindness from Uhaul. The facility on W 15th St, Panama City is one of the best service providers I have used for trailer rentals. The staff is very quick to get you set up, safely and on your way. The trailer was in good condition with new tires, which is a plus!!!Richard A.

Initially booked a 20ft online for pickup via phone. Upon arrival the phone check in did not work so I had to wait in line for an associate. Associate had to rebook my reservation and said I was lucky it was available for my booked time. Truck was muddy on the exterior. interior had chocolate in the cup holders, radio did not work. Truck drove fine with a smoothish shifting transmission, seemed aligned. Overall the vehicle the vehicle met my needs and I didn't need anything fancy. There is room for improvement with the check in process but not the biggest issue as the I was able to get the truck for the time needed and a call to customer service allowed me to further extend the rent for my need. No discounts for public service even after initially stated with reservation.Josh H.

I tried to drop off the trailer in a town called Youngstown Florida. There's a Youngstown hotel right out in front of where the U-Haul is. 2 days 4 hours waiting for a guy who I swear was doing drugs and didn't want to come out because he just got his new supply. This guy should not be in any business probably prison for what he's doing over there! I did call and voice a complaint. And then I drove down to the other location in Panama City and dropped it off. Where nobody said a word to me which is okay but it would have been nice to yeah you're okay or how is your trip anything like that I didn't get one word. The guy there was very rude. When I asked why I had been charged 132 rather than the 57 he started yellin and arguing with us. Telling me no you all did not and i had my bank up on my phone showing yeah ya did.. To the point we asked for cooperates number and he refused telling us he was cooperate. Very disappointed in this person. Didnt catch his name but his name should be on my RETURN paperwork. Everyone else was wonderful. Have told so many not to go there now due to him. I was turned away the first day, they said they do not have any trucks available for one way, this was right before closing time. Right when I got home I made a reservation for the truck I wanted to be picked up as soon as the store opened. The truck was in their parking lot when I arrived the night before. When I went to pick up the truck I told the lady working and she smirked while saying nothing. The people working there were very nice and helpful finding the keys and truck for me BUT the experience to get the truck were very INCONVENIENT. Why did I reserve a truck days ahead of time to make the process easier when I showed up I have to spend 40 minutes on my phone confirming personal information that could have been confirmed beforehand. On top of that for an alternate contact I have to chase down anybody I know to answer a call just so I can rent a DAMN truck. In the least I'm pissed. If I rent a truck I should just be able to leave a copy of my I.D. and pay and get the truck. VERY INCONVENIENT. I will recommend the location based on the guys being nice but not for the corporation itself. Gracias.Kathie M.

While it was nice to be able to get a truck short notice, it should have been more clean. There was mud on the outside of it and in the tires, which ended up in my driveway. The cab interior reaked of cigarettes, and had residue from spilled drinks everywhere. Plus there was a coffee cup lid on the dash. More time needs to be spent cleaning these, and there needs to be an option to select a smoke free truck. I myself am allergic to cigarettes.Michael T.
We reserved a certain size truck weeks ahead and were given a different size when we arrived. The truck was not cleaned at all inside. The interior lights of the truck did not work and the transmission was very sketchy. They did not show us the truck at all, just said "It's in the lot." It was not filled up with gas. The first trailer did not work. The lights were. Although the staff there at that time were extremely helpful. My harness was also only working on the right side. I had to get a new one. The employee who helped me said that he would send me an updated bill which i didn't get until sometime yesterday. I think it due to connectivity issues not a lack of sending it. returned the trailer early. I dropped it off at 630am 9/2202021. I also sent an email to 778061_GM@uhaul.com at around 9am. Nothing ever came out of my account. So I stopped by yesterday evening around 6pm. The lady there was not very helpful nor did she listen well. She charged me 2 days rental and nothing for the trailer wire harness. I should be billed for 1day rental 1 trailer harness.CLARKE D.

First, I had a reservation and when I arrived my reserved unit was unavailable. They did have one available in climate controlled but wanted me to pay additional $ over my quoted price. The manager then offered me 2 smaller units to make up for one I reserved but when we got there one of the 2 smaller units was full. We went back and the manager found another unit for us. A couple days later I went back to get some items and U-haul put a padlock on the other unit. I had to get with the office to sort out the mess as I was getting 2 smaller units for the bigger unit I reserved. I guess no one followed up on the proper paperwork. Concerned how the billing is going to work out as I had a monthly quoted price for 1 bigger unit and they put.me in 2 smaller units. Manager assured me it will be correct. To be honest, everything has been a hassle from the trailer to the storage unit with U-haul. The manager did give me a 2nd lock for the other unit as I was planning on only having to buy 1 lock since I was only going to have 1 unit. The employees did seem to care about making things right just not the best follow through. I would recommend for convenience and fair pricing.Miles C. | First Impressions

The facility was clean, but the staff were VERY RUDE!! I was locked out of my unit, NOT DUE TO PAYMENT, but an oversight to the lock I bought. I NEVER received a call about the issue either. Then I was DOUBLE CHARGED this last month and again, NOT BECAUSE I OWED, I have ALL my bank statements, I can show that I was ON TIME, EVERY MONTH. I had never had a storage unit before and was so surprised at how clean and well kept these U-Haul Storage units were. They have a very good restroom which is large and clean with the paper toilet seat covers. I had one of the inside units and I felt my belongings were safe and I did not worry or feel like I needed to go by and check on it. I went to get a Uhaul in order to empty my storage unit. The doors to the climate controlled units were locked and the attendant had a difficult time getting them unlocked (no fault of him). We are given a time limit to return the Uhaul but waited almost an hour to get in. You need more help. When a customer comes in to check out, the employees shouldn't ask them to write their information down to be taken care of later. I was asked for my information, and was told it would be taken care of by closing that day. It was not. I had to make another trip to make sure it was, because no one would answer the phone or their email. It was an avoidable inconvenience to me, the customer. Never take advantage of someone's time. Surprisingly this is the first above average experience I've ever had with U-Haul, the other few times I used you, I had horrible customer service & vowed to never come back, unfortunately, I was in a jam & had no choice but to rent from U-Haul & didn't have any problems until 2 hours after we turned the truck in when my credit card was charged for the additional mileage on the truck, which isn't an issue, except for the fact that it should have been done at the time of the return or a quick phone call to let me know that there were additional fees being charged. Me and my mother spent all weekend moving from Memphis. We took advantage of your self storage because it had after hours. My facility closed at 7 and we were there at 7:15. The code pad to enter the unit was "out of service" and it said to call a manager. When we called the number provided, it went to the call center. The woman in the call center called the number for the "manager" and it went straight to voicemail.
