We spent hours and hours on the phone on hold, getting hung up on, bounced from dept. to dept., six different people in all spoke to us and the final person assured us our boxes were in Panama City, We drove 450 miles from Sarasota to Panama City and were then told they were not there and they had no idea where they were. We had to stay in a hotel for two more additional nights (at about $270 pn) then the boxes showed up 6 days later than promised. All we really wanted to know was where is our stuff and nobody could answer us. NOBODY. U-Haul claims you can track your boxes on-line, even they couldn't. Amazon can track a pair of earrings to the minute but they can't find two one ton boxes!!

All three people I can in contact with were great! I don’t remember the name of the young man that checked the truck back in, but he was friendly and professional. Tori and Gregory were also great. I rented trucks for four days in a row and chose this store and always will. Fantastic job U-Haul team!

We were charged an additional 60 dollars when we turned in our truck. We have the truck reserved for 8 hours, only had it for 3 hours. We went a total of 15 miles. We then Filled the tank back to where they told us to fill it. When we left we had an additional charge of 60 dollars. We called and spoke to someone in customer service they said that the manager had put in that we turned the truck in empty. There is no possible way 15 miles is going to burn that much gas. We will NEVER use them again. And we will NEVER refer friends to them.

I did not receive the notification to pick up the truck from a different (changed from the original reservation) location until the morning of. This location changed caused me to pick up the truck 45 minutes late, and could have been avoided easily. I would recommend any changed information goes through text message notification as well as email.

I had a difficult experience in the beginning with renting a u-box for moving. I was extremely frustrated with another location but the 15th street location did everything they could to make it right.

We had a nightmare of an experience there was a leak in the passenger side windshield and my wife had to hold a rag up to the windshield during the rain storms one time for almost 2 hours so she wouldn't get wet she is handicapped so I stopped alongside the road and got to stick so we could push the rag up in there and continue on our trip I am very displeased and I have already called and complained I want this resolved I want someone to call me and let me know why this vehicle was not properly maintained and inspected. Also the radio did not work properly when you turned on the radio the volume did not work at all and it was on loud so we spent the entire trip without radio yeah that's not a major problem but it's nice to have and I feel that I paid for this I want some kind of resolution from you people

I was directed to drop off trailer/truck at 2112 Frankford Ave in Panama City, FL - upon arrival I was advised they were not accepting returning Uhaul trucks/trailers. Yet another example of poor and inaccurate information by Uhaul. I have used Uhaul services many times in the past and this experience was awful w/ regarding to reservation services request. Your personnel at the various locations were pleasant and very helpful

Arrived at thwe location on us 231. Trailer was present. Attendant was rude and announced her system was down and we would have to proceed to 15th street. Not being from the area this was confusing. Goggles the location. Arrived...asked 2 ladies in lot if they could direct us as to where to go. I understand they have been dealing with a lot with the hurricane and all. Both ladies acted as if it was a bother to assist us and were rude. Got inside, long line. Was in the managers line and he announced the lady at the other location should just quit. If her computer was down so would mine. At this point, I really didn't care I simply wanted to get my trailer and start the process of assisting my military family member with moving their belongings to another base due to hurricane damage to their home and base as well. I have worked at a place with uhual terminal and know it can be contrary. Maybe the lady needed more training. It was completely embarrassing that we should have to listen or be a party to this type of behavior. Someone waiting in line stated I should get a job here. The manager stated sure I could use you today. I am sure there are plenty of people in that area ravaged from the hurricane that could use jobs. Both of us renting the uhaul are members of professional type jobs and we would have fired the lot of them for their entitled and poor attitudes. I get having a bad day but you don't take it out on your customers. Overall, I will reconsider renting from uhaul in the future. I would not have shared this but my military family member had problems with poor attitude and less then helpful service over a year ago with this same location. So, it's not relative to the hurricane. You could be potentially losing many customers with this type of behavior.

I had to drive 20 miles one way and 20 miles to return my rental when I passed several Uhaul locations with the same truck. I had 49 total miles driven and was charged for $34 worth of fuel.

The rental place was great but after I ordered online someone from uhaul called and said the 10ft truck would not be available, that they would have a 15ft truck at 12pm insteas. I arrived and my entire rental was cancelled. Luckily they had just got a 10ft they didn't know they were going to have so I got a truck, the actual rental place was great, but if I hadn't got lucky I would have been a little upset.

The truck WAS NOT what I reserved, I reserved a 15 ft. Had to take a 26 ft. Cost me $300.00 + so it cost way over what I was quoted. Had Marajuita in the drivers door and floor. It cost me $200.00 in gas just for that hugh truck to bring 1 motorcycle home.

We reserved a car tow but when we went to pick it up they did not have it. They gave us a car trailer instead and charged us the additional cost. We reserved well in advance and should not have had to pay extra because they didn't have the reserved equipment.

No big deal! Initially I wandered the lot trying to find the rental before being rescued by an employee. They were directing/taking customers to their rental just missed me. Make sure all customers are able to locate there rental in a timely manner...mine was on an adjoining property where I wouldn't have thought to look.

Felt rushed out the door and they neglected to send the utility dolly with truck, so after going to two different locations for a tow dolly, because they didn’t have one there for us we had to go back there to get the utility dolly. Overall was very disappointed with the lack of service provided by making us go somewhere else for the tow dolly after making reservations a month prior to the move. When I asked why the rep told me they didn’t have the man power to go get equipment and left it to the customers. Not cool, not very good practice in my opinion.

I had reservations 2 days in advance and then when I got there I had already been moved once to another location then another location. Putting me 13 away from my starting point and ending point each way. so, 26 miles added to my bill and 1.5 hours added to my move day because my reservation was not honored. Whats the point of making a reservation if you are not going to back up the reservation.

I've been a customer at this location for many years and I have always had the best customer experience mostly because of your Manager Tori. She always goes above and beyond to take care of the customer. When you made someone else Manager for a short while, he was abrasive and I did not do business with you during that time as there are other U-Haul options in town. Now that Tori is Manager again, I have renewed my business relationship with this store.

I tried several times to reserve a pickup and auto transport at this location. The area rep called and tried to set something else up for Wednesday which I did not like. So I asked when a pickup would be available at the 15th street location, she said Friday the 10th, I agreed to that. When I got there at 0800 Friday they still put me in a box truck. I was stuck. I did not get any warning of this. The gas level was lower than what the computer showed. I went back in to fix it, but Tori was busy with 3 other people. The yard crew (initials GOA) did the best he could to get me going. The box truck was a dog but ran fine and got the job done. The one bright spot was April who checked me in at 720 PM. Also, not everyone has a smart phone on them! And there was no USB port.

Place was backed up, disorganized and needed additional staff. I was redirected here instead of the location I requested. U-Haul Corporate...rethink sending customers here instead of the smaller business retail centers. The hurricane has impacted your staffing at the 15th center too much.

I received my truck about an hour later than the scheduled time. The pickup location changed the day of pickup. The tank only had 1/4 tank of gas. I filled up the tank that was $75.00 and it was 3/4 tank when I turned it in and was not compensated for the extra gas but was charged for a couple miles over. I am very disappointed.

When a customer only needs a 10' truck give him what he needs instead of putting him in a 17' for a lot more money. I was told over the phone they didn't have any but when I walked out back to get the truck there were 10' ones out there. I had to jocky the truck out between 2 trucks to get out while the attendant sat in a golf cart watching me.

The first truck they tried to give us had the bumper ripped half off. Then they never put the dolly or moving blankets in the truck. They were very disorganized and thank goodness it didn’t get busy until after we were done or we would have been there half the afternoon. Pretty disappointed.

The info for 24/7 pickup/dropoff is provided out of order. The app needs a lot of improvements. One wrong click and you're back at the beginning. You have no idea the steps you'll have to follow until AFTER you're at the location. The info on where to find the key was NOT marked well nor specified with any clarity in the app. It's as though you need to show up a day ahead to figure it out first. DO NOT DROP YOUR KEY IN LOCKBOX UNTIL AFTER YOU FINALIZE DROPOFF IN YOUR PHONE. Especially if done after hours. Pictures required in app which require truck to be ON.

Hire more people. Long wait to PU equipment. Busy, long line and only one girl working counter. Finally got paperwork, then had to find equipment and hook up car hauler AT6055 by myself. no one there to help. finally someone came to help. looked at paperwork and trailer hook up and sent me on my way. there over an hour with an on-line reservation. Wow....

I've never had such a horrible experience in my life. Been through root canals that have been a more pleasant experience. Momma always try to say nice things or don't say nothing at all. Can't think of anything nice to say, so I'll stop. Hell no I won't stop. Had a reservation. Was told trailer wasn't there when I was looking right at it. Finally after 2 hours,staff verified the reserved trailer was present. Very busy location in Bay county FL. We are all still dealing with hurricane Michael recovery so I was trying to be patient. But I'm not an idiot so please don't treat me like one. Finally got my trailer. Now let's see if Uhaul honors it's 50$ reservation guarantee I was told by Uhaul customer service would (review) for eligibility. Something tells me I won't be hearing from them and they hope I'll forget this whole ordeal.

When I reserved the trailer I told the woman on the phone that i needed to load something 62in wide. She said no problem you need at 6 by 12. I picked it up and started on my 1 1/2 hour drive. 20 minutes in I saw that the rear gate was not the whole 6ft. So I called and talked to the woman I booked with and she said no problem they will give you a refund. I drove back and was there with in a hour. The manager would not refund the whole thing. I had to pay for the wrong trailer and still never got my side by side. Needless to say I’ll try another company. I have only used u haul but after this I’ll try Penske or budget.

Had trouble with billing. Was charged about twice what should have been. Went the next day. They told me the correct charge and applied it to my credit card. They told me the incorrect charge was put back on my card. Two phone calls and two weeks later, still not back on my credit card. So now they have charged me over $201 for a bill of $71. Very poor customer service.

The truck I used had seen it’s better days. The door had been damaged and was very noisy when opened or closed. The key didn’t work on the drivers door and to unlock the passenger door to get back in. The outside of the truck hasn’t been washed in god knows how long. The employees were very nice and did a good job.

We had to wait 1/2 and hour to be checked in after we made a reservation. The person that connected the trailer to my truck didnt do it right, and it disconnected 1/4 mile down the road, on a very busy street. we had to call the police to stop traffic. not happy.

Clarify that site is just off the intersection rather than on the intersection. The UHaul Storage facility is on the intersection and is unmanned on weekends, leading to confusion, as the actual trailer rental location is two buildings over and a completely different driveway.

More friendly, less rude staff and manager. Certainly more staff would be helpful as well so that a customer wouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes to pick up a trailer, after pre-registering online. This is the worse U-Haul experience I have ever had. It all begins with the rude manager, I think his name is Chris.

Fix your website or communication each place I went be it your website or the two locations or even when you called to confirm my appointment the information was wrong the phone call had the wrong rental dates the location had the wrong equipment reserved and the return location didn’t know what equipment I had and had the wrong dates I want to make it clear the employees were fantastic it was an infrastructure problem

This has been the BEST moving experience I have ever had! U-Haul made this process so easy and the cost was better than any I found from other rental agencies. It was about $800 cheaper than the next cheapest rental agency. At the drop of location, the staff met me at the truck and took care of everything within minutes so I could be on my way! Teamwork makes the dream work and U-Haul certainly exceeded my expectations!

We reserved an open trailer and we had to use a closed one, the open trailer was not available and FYI we could have picked the closed trailer up sooner we waited until 5 pm so we had to work at night and drop off at 1 am, It was very problematic useing a closed trailer for what we were hauling.

Pick up I pre checked in, guy at desk not tude not nice, dead inside. Drop off, pulled up, no one in sight, 20 min later 4 or 5 of us returning vehicles all walking around looking for someone, no one even greeted us and said "hold on" and no bathrooms, people are moving who has time for that! And very expensive hindsight I did not tow anything and had to bring vehicle back to same location, 1 day leas than 24 hrs $160÷÷÷÷??? I couldve and shouldve gone on craigslist or hired someone to haul it!!

My reservation got changed 3 times since 9am this morning still didn’t get the equipment I needed ended up paying 3xs what we were told we would pay by the corporate office told the store we were going from one city to the next and they booked us local told us we couldn’t drop the equipment at another location it had to come back after we told them we were going to another city called customer service they did nothing said they couldn’t but they did tell me if I drop the equipment I’m my new location we would me charge a “WRONG DESTINATION FEE” Smdh the things I went thru with these people today I will never use U-Haul again PENSENKE here I come

Some of employees were rude, acted like they had no clue what they were doing. We called and reserved a pickup truck and was given a 10 ft box truck which was only option apparently, only had two seats and we have a minor child. Will never rent uhaul again... Very let down

I reserved an appliance dolly and was told as I arrived to get the truck the dolly was not available. It made my move more difficult and dangerous when it came to trying to move a large refrigerator with a utility dolly. I would expect Uhaul to transfer one from another location or at least let me know ahead of time so I could be prepared for it. If it was not for that it would have been an outstanding experience with this store.

Owner/Manager/Workers were all grumpy and unfriendly. Service was slow and somewhat incompetent. In the middle of setting up my rental the Owner took over the workers computer without saying a word to work on something else. No apology or explanation. Once i found my vehicle...that i had to search the lot for myself, it had a flat tire that could not be inflated and eventually I was provided another vehicle and escape. The return process was surprisingly very smooth and efficient.

Customer service was very poor at the location on 15th Street. Couldn't get waited on GM was also rude. Sent back and forth several times and referred to other clerks The clerk that waited on us was on her cell phone and texting while I was trying to talk to her. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any UHaul location. I had to call Knoxville and get the rental worked out before they would take the trailer back. I do understand that Panama City had a Hurricane and is under a lot of stress but I will be living here too since I bought a house in late September before Michael hit. I too suffered damage. We need to be kiner to each other.

Hire more employees like Dawn, she works at the 15th street P.C. Fl. UHaul office. Because of her professionalism and great personal disposition, my Uhaul experience was exceptional. She was very helpful, answered every question and concern that I had, went above and beyond to accomodate every client that comes through the door. This location is the best because of her.

reserved for noon, I called just to make sure if I didn't get there till about 1230 if that would be ok. that is when I found out that it wasn't there and wouldn't be till around 530....not happy! when I got the van my husband and I headed up the street, he told me that I had no tail lights so I turned around and went back. they checked and found that the light switch which looks like mine, does not do the same thing for the same design. while I was there I asked them to clean the film off the inside of the windshield...he did but only part of it, leaving the passenger side dirty. I also told him that when the van is started up it says it needs an oil change and tire pressure was low. He said it wasn't his truck.
