I work in the service industry and deal with multiple personalities, The disconnect I experienced with the front desk agent when checking out to rent my vehicle was not sufficient to my standards. Now I am no perfectionist however we all have our days. The rep gave me a paper that had roadside assistance and keys and pretty much said go on your own to find the vehicle... he also said the vehicle had a quarter tank of gas which it did not and we had photo proof time stamped of it but because we had a time crunch to do things while we had coverage for our children we just put the gas in. We live maybe 5 -7 miles away from the location we rented on and when we were finished loading up my husband who would be driving the vehicle was delayed on delivery to the venue because the battery died. We finally got it jumped. Now next day we had to deal with the same thing on EVENT DAY battery died again. Terrible unacceptable. I was trying to get a hold of roadside and had no luck. It was very stressful knowing the timeline we had for everything the day prior and day of which is why we rented the vehicle for 48 hours. We returned it as is but UHAUL needs to maintain and check their vehicles before every rental. It would save alot of time and headache for all.

Absolutely horrible management and manager. RUDE and extremely unfriendly. Was derogatory and condescending to my wife. Will be advising others not to go here because of the “owner” that was working sat morning. Made unnecessary comments and demands about when we should be bring truck back. Even tho was rented for all day service. Said I needed to “call him directly” for no reason as to when I should bring the truck back. Will be calling corporate because of him.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the facility had to change access to our unit. It was not feasible for my husband and I to access our unit using portable stairs. Over the last 2 years, the access hours changed which was difficult for us with working schedules. We did have to remove our storage items in an expedited manner due to the facility needing to make changes by a specific date. Abel was very accommodating and provided very good customer service.

Poor management, the rented van, 3 out of 4 tires have low tire pressure. And the rear door ajar alert never fixed and gave to me. the last 80 miles driving sounding almost non-stop for 4 days. It's like nightmare to drive this rented Van... so poor service, low quality of maintenance.

Horrible place gave us a truck that ran out of gas 1 block away .. we told the owner of the place it had zero miles and he said not my problem.. it delayed us and the storage unit I was using closed before we got there .. never again

I was ripped off. I don't ever remember being charged mileage before. Yes times are different but some people don't understand all the different fees even if they see it in they're paperwork. They should want to explain a bit better that mileage is separate form the rental and even if you gas the truck on your own. I figured they would only charge me around 60 or so and they charged me 106! 😭 please take the time to explain better. Also they didn't explain about the insurance. When I was registering on the message they sent me it automatically chanrged me 15 extra! For insurance. When there was a difference insurance for 10. Good luck people please take your time and ask a lot of questions?

August 20th, while we got the crazy rain from Storm Hillary, the driver side windshield wipe broke! Thank goodness we were putting gas to return the truck and the rain let up a bit. We made it back to the drop off and the gentleman apologized for the not so well maintained truck. I was very worried about moving in the rain and thought the safest bet was getting a truck and keeping my belongings safe. Little did I know we may have been stuck in the terrible storm.

Employees didn't want to work. I had to ask twice to be helped with an existing reservation. Nobody cares how long they keep you to check out. Desk man told yard man which trailer I was picking up and he didn't even meet me at the trailer. I had to wait longer (could've hooked it up myself faster). I've rented trailers for 20+ years and this location is below standard. I get it, it's hard to find anyone who wants to work, but they just don't care. Trailer had one bad tire on it but I took the chance on a 10 hour drive (round trip) that it wouldn't blow. I've had bad uhaul blowouts due to bad equipment. Fold down fender was missing one latch, barely holding on. Nobody cares to repair equipment anymore.. You wanted an honest review, you got it !!

upon pickup, despite my reservation, my trailer was buried behind 3 others leading to 45 minute delay. Upon returning the trailer the following day was told to 'go fuck myself" by the agent when dropping off the trailer and to "unhook the fucking trailer your damn self"

This is by far the best service ever. Ive gone through so many U-Hauls and it's a hit or miss we ith staff. But here at this location everyone is great and manager is very professional and well informed . You guys are the best . Dan fricke

The trucks are all in poor condition and have excessive miles. I have been renting trucks from this location about twice a month for the last few months. All trucks have been well beyond their expiration date. Sloppy steering, uneven braking, broken tire pressure sensors, dirty windshields, poorly aimed and dim headlights, loose weatherstripping, air leaks creating whistling noises and booming air pressure pulsing in the cabin. The engines are all worn and in a poor state of tune with exhaust leaks which causes horrible gas mileage even for a truck. Reps are pretty good overall but too few to handle even a small group of customers at a time which causes long waiting times.

The rep was texting while helping me and then asked me to hold while he took a personal call. The other rep didn't bother to help until another rep came inside and helped me out. The truck smelled like cigarettes. The employees should help customers first then be on there phone with their are no customers. When I dropped off it was the only time the service was excellent. The guy met me at where I parked checked the car and was very nice

Well first off when someone rent's a vehicle and returned it the same day tell them you don't have to stand in line for an hour to check it back in. I returned the truck and they took the keys and I went inside to complete the return. I waited almost an hour in line just for them to tell me oh we will send you an email about the charges. Are you 😂 me? I rented a truck from you guys the license 🪪 was bent the Windshield was cracked on the passenger side. All thought not a DOT violation but it needed an oil change also. And it was dirty on the outside.i cand send pics if needed. I was happy with the whole experience except the hour I spent in line waiting just for them to tell me, oh we'll send you an email about the check in???? If they told me that when I rented it I wouldn't have lost my time waiting to check in your vehicle when I didn't have to. Grrrrr

The only reason we did not select 5 stars is because they were so busy it was hard to get someone to help us when we returned the U-Haul. The owner is very nice and super efficient at checking people out, especially in the AM when everyone is picking up their U-Haul.

Neyamayah is prompt and pro-active on giving us a reminder call about our our 24 hour after hour pick up. Very helpful. We utilize the cargo van for our equipment for food festivals and are in need of picking up either very early or very late on the day when store is closed and he is helpful in getting this processed done for us.

I rented the storage unit over a year and a half and I was having issues with my unit water leaking from the ceiling my Chrome pieces to my lowrider bikes being damaged by water being in my unit leaking from the roof I have put in a complaint and never received a call back or anything so I relocated my stuff out of the unit because no one got back to me at all bad customer service.

Online move in stated that the lock for the storage door would be inside my unit and that the extended storage hours were until 10pm. The first time I arrived, my storage unit was already locked and there was no key to access the inside. It was around 8pm and no one was working. We had already unloaded everything and had to reload back into our truck. We showed up the next day, got my lock that apparently an associate has to give us (NOT what it stated online) and they needed to take the other lock off my unit. On Christmas Day I needed to access the storage so I spoke with a uhaul rep through chat who stated that if the location has after hours then I would be able to get into my unit. I show up that evening and of course the doors won’t open. Another wasted trip and inaccurate information. I come back a couple days later around 8pm and yet again the storage entry doors won’t open! It takes 30 minutes from my place to get to this uhaul storage location. As I’m about to turn around someone walks out of an office and tells us there aren’t extended storage hours even though it states so online. He told us to come back at 7am the next morning. The ONLY reason I chose this location was due to the “extended hours” that apparently don’t exist. I don’t know if this is a widespread issue or just this location but I’ve wasted SO much time going back and forth to this place and have been given wildly false information several times. Horrible experience so far.

Staff were awesome specially Eris and Dinis! The call center completely screwed me and reserved a unit that was already taken. Had to drive to a completely different city twice to get a storage unit. This caused me to use up alot of the gas I just put in to return the vehicle. Good thing the general managers are awesome cause this review couldve gone south if it wasnt for them.

This was my 2nd time renting a storage unit from U-Haul. I have experience nothing but positive. The staff is friendly, the location is always clean, and most importantly my belongings were safe. My only complaint is that there is no elevator, and I had to load, unload, carry my things up the stairs, load and unload again. I knew what I was getting my self in to when I rented the unit. I was very happy with my over all experience with your location, and staff members. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😉👍

Parking lot is poorly lit for accessing my unit after office hours. Lots of homeless lingering in the lot and NEXT to the door to the storage area… I felt unsafe. Staff are super friendly and very helpful though

Inside walls of storage units are made of 1/2" drywall which in some places had come loose allowing someone to reach into the unit next door. If you wanted to you could simply push through the wall. Not at all secure!

They tried to charge me for an extra month after I moved out five days early. Actual move out was July 10, 2020... The charge was July 15... I don't think it was intentional, they apparently did not check the unit.
