Besides not having a furniture dolly everything else was good.
JOHN LManagement was rude the morning of pick-up, front desk was stressed upon pick-up, picked up a 26' truck and they had it less than 1/4 tank of gas with knowing the to and from locations where the truck was going, which was local. Thank goodness the truck didn't break down on the highway from running out of gas with temperatures of only 22° outside. I addressed my concerns with the drop off location which was different and they were so sweet and friendly, and I will be contacting the corporate office. Perhaps this review I will receive a call before I have to make a call. I will never recommend the location to anyone. I've utilized U-Haul for many years and this was the worst experience from this location.
Nicole LI reserved a cargo van at a location less than a mile from my house. Got a call the morning of saying they didn't have any vans and I needed to drive about 10 miles further out. The original place was along the route and I saw TONS of cargo vans there. I was clearly lied to, but I don't know why. My furniture pickup location was only a mile from the house. I spent more time driving to pick up the van from the new location and paid more because of the extra miles. The furniture rollers I reserved were not in the van either. Bad experience and I'm not sure I'll use U-Haul again.

LARRY SLady who worked the counter at our check out was less than helpful. She presented herself as she could treat us however she wanted because she had a product we wanted/needed. If we didn't have movers already on the way that morning we would have taken our business elsewhere. She needs some customer service training.
Heather CI took the truck with less than half tank, the lady told me it was half, I filled it, when I returned it, it was a whole bar above half 1. The guy on site admitted that the lady who helped me should've explained to me what I need to do to dispute anything before I left the lot, she did not do that 2. They did not refund me for 1/4 of the tank, which is like $25-$30

LLOYD WEven though this location has a large variety off rentals and is fully stocked, the lot is well kept and the rental I used was top notch. The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. This location was not my first choice because of distance, but now will most likely be the place I go for future needs.

JUSTIN KMy name is AHMAD DAMER I came in two days ago to pick up a truck and the lady was there her name Elizabeth she claimed to be at the manager she was absolutely absolutely rude and out of line. I ask her if she's OK or she have a problem and she said yes, I'm fine but she was super super rude and I do business a lot there in the Olathe location. I deal with the guy his name John and he's an awesome guy. I was shocked when I found out he's not working that day and she I have to deal with that lady and I need to speak to somebody who is the manager or district manager who can help me because if you don't if I don't receive a phone call. I will quit using your business in the latest location. Thank you so much. My phone number is 913-764-5039.
AHMAD DI was told it wouldn't cost a hair over 200. Ended up spending well over that and was not told of the $88 I was charged until it was billed to me

Donna M | Overall ExperienceThe equipment was not inspected before I received it. If it was I never should have received it. The ramp was not safe with a broken weld and was not even. It delayed our moving several times and my son got hurt due to this as well as damaging his bike going down the ramp. When I called to discuss the issue in tears the staff were not kind. Rather was more a jerk! For this major error and the stress in my move on top of having to take off work the following day due to the delays it caused, the amount discounted does not seem reasonable. I never should have received an unsafe vehicle to use in the first place. This should be free!!!
Heather DThe gentleman at the counter was very helpful. He explained the after hours return process. The uhaul website would not let me upload my pic of fuel/odometer to site. The guys at the site apparently were able to check in the truck Saturday morning. All-in-all a very good experience.

DONALD NCheck in and registration was very simple.Your rates are double of Storetroplis for the same size and theirs is temperature controlled. Also, the guy at the desk wrote down the wrong security code in the computer compared to what he wrote on my paper and I lost an hour sitting at the gate trying to work with Customer Service. I was paying three guys $20 an hour to sit there and do nothing While I sat on the phone for an hour trying to get that figured out. I was in a really bad mood last night!

The return was just as easy and appreciated that there was staff still working on site. Highly recommend this location.

Your locations were the only reason we were able to move our son back home. Your scheduling cost us hours and hundreds of dollars! Macs and UHaul of Olathe were amazing!!!

It seemed as if I should know the process and when I asked a question, I was made to feel like I should know the answer. Customers don't know how the process works (most of the time). I had not used uhaul in a long time and the process has changed. We should not have to feel like we are a dumb customer that doesn't know how the process works.

Rolando C | Overall ExperienceOverall everything worked well except the 10' Truck was low on oil. Working with the Topeka Kansas location they were able to determine that the oil filter was loose and down 2 quarts of oil. Fortunately this was fixed and preventing further issues.
JOHN RThis location always has the trucks & vans available for my company's needs!!! They're always clean, gassed up and ready when I arrive! Plus the staff is so nice & always helpful! It's a clean well maintained location in south KC
MARGARET MEmployees were barely interactive. Reserved truck was not available. Switched reservation and received truck that had not been swept (leaves, screws, broken glass). Passenger side visor was dangling. Was told truck had 1/2 tank of gas, but it was less than 1/2. Very disappointing.
MEKECIA LThe oxygen sensor was activating the check engine light. I had to return to the location to have it reset. An hour into my trip it came back on and I had to worry about whether something else was wrong until I turned it in.
KEVIN NI rented a cargo van to assist my son moving from his apartment. I used the app to reserve the van, I checked in at the counter, the van was ready to go, I returned the van to check in with zero issues. Gracias.
KEVIN SMy pickup was scheduled at another location but they were out and couldn't be reached. This location jumped right in and got me going.

Ken MWasn't allowed to make payments to catch up on bill. I tried over and over to make a payment but they wouldn't take a payment. But they sell my stuff for partial payment.
mark m | Overall ExperienceParking is terrible. There are only 3-4 spots for the entire facility. Many times, I had to park at my unit inside the security gate and then walk to the main office. You can also park at the Senior Facility next door and walk the grassy path to their location. That's the only complaint I have, but was fantastic otherwise! Will definitely use again when needed!

Very sad and terrible experience and i have talked to others that had similar experiences, just sad!
