the fees are ridiculous. I can rent a truck at Loews for less. I was told by the clerk that I could return the box truck anywhere, but little did I know it would cost me $100 dollars. This company is a scam and greedy like most. I will not use or recommend it to anyone in the future. I wound up spending almost $100.

We waited between five and 10 minutes in the office and not a single employee was in sight. Eventually we noticed a small sticky note on the back of one of the registers with the phone number on it. Called the number and the girl who answered said she was at lunch but she would let one of the other employees know we were there. The rental truck had more miles on it than The contract said. I notified employee and she said she would update the system. As I was walking out to the truck, there were a group of employees in the service bay and it smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarette smoke. When I returned at 4pm a UHaul employee on the lot took the keys and said he would email my receipt within 5-10 minutes. At 7:40pm I received a text saying My rental was overdue. When I called the office this morning, the guy I spoke with (Freddi, I think) seemed irritated with me. I asked him to make sure the out mileage was correct so I wouldn’t be over charged. He said “yeah, I got it” and then hung up. When I finally received my receipt, it showed charges for 203 miles (I went around 5 total) and then there was a “Reimbursement - oil and tire repair” line item of $157.21. I still don’t know if I was charged correctly. Not very impressed or happy with this rental experience. The staff at this location seems to lack the professionalism and organization you would expect from a location as such. I told a friend about the experience and she had the same issues at the same location last year.

I rated this facility high because it was clean, well organized, well stocked, had a waiting room with coffee and the employees, 2 young men and a young women were fantastic, very polite, very knowledgeable. Now, we did have a couple of problems, we had a new hitch installed and we rented our 5x8 trailer there also. When we were ready to leave my wife jokingly said to the young man who installed the hitch and hooked up the trailer, that "everything better be OK because I'm driving". Well you guessed it, something happened, we pulled out of the parking and headed to the highway, when we heard an awful noise. My wife pulled over and I found the trailer hitch has fallen apart and the trailer is on the ground behind us. I'm 72 and disabled but I got on the ground and got the trailer and ball, reattached to the hitch. We got back to the U-haul dealership and had the young man check the hookup to make sure everything was hooked up and safe. The dealership did offer a partial rebate and we headed out to the hi-way. Where after awhile we heard another noise. We stopped and found the trailer doors open.

Customer service in the morning was only so-so. Worker was obviously not awake yet and not ready to be working. (In his defence it was 7 am). Truck was left at 1/4 a tank of gas, meaning I immediately had to get gas. While this was clearly stated to me and was included in the rental contract it is the first time I have ever not been given a vehicle with a full tank and returned it with a full tank. Finally, the "mom's attic" leaked from the rain and every box that was up against the front got thoroughly soaked on the bottom. This was unfortunately three boxes of paperback books and one box of electronics. We saw that the inside of the truck states that it is water resistant not waterproof after we noticed the leak, but this seems kinda ridiculous, as part of the point of getting a covered vehicle is protection from the weather. Next, the vehicle was provided with a lock, which I appreciated as I knew we would have to stop and get food and wanted to be able to lock it. When we went to use it though we found the lock was unable to close and was therefore non-functional. My best guess is the inner mechanism had rusted and was preventing it closing. Finally, I was able to return the vehicle right before closing (6:55pm). A worker came out and said something like, "I just need the keys", and I said, "I need to grab some stuff from the front", as I handed him the keys. He said that was fine and walked into the U-Haul building and locked the door. We were then left there with no idea if it was fine to go. We had to go up to the locked door and get someone to come over and after good bit of confusion and them finally opening a door to speak to us, we found out it was fine to leave as they couldn't do a final sale as they closed out the computers 10 minutes before 7pm. All in all, I will not rent from this location again and I will find other options before using U-Haul again.

I don't mind to recommend friends to this location, but if the lady ?? who comes to work with her daughter will change her altitudes, She was really disrespectful to me and my wife, she talked to us in a very rudely, that wasn't my first time to rent from u-haul, I am sorry to say that but I have to, I would like to change to another location because of that lady who brings her kid to a work place

well for one the boy that did the thing for me told me the refun will go back on the card and i have call and call they still not put the money one the card yet and still not phone calll from the boss and no i will not go back there and no i will not tell a friend to make me look bad with them there with them people that can not do there job right just mail me the check i not driving back up there when i take me over 2 hours to drive up there i am every up set the way the people is taking care of the place

My payment was completely messed up. I got charged an extra day because the man outside forgot to tell the front desk that the truck was dropped off early in the morning. Then I got charged a third time for the new total. I did end up getting my money back, but for a good part of the week I had $400 taken out of my checking account, when in reality it should've only been $115. It kinda screwed me over since it was a debit card and not a credit card. The manager was helpful, but it was very frustrating to be short on all that money.
