They evidently did not check in the equipment in the computer. I was called on Monday saying I was late. I turned in the trailer the same day I rented it. Then I was charged a late fee but I was early not late. Should I get a refund for being early? I called customer service who was helpful. However the oakwood I haul has yet to issue my refund.

I am not sure of the young woman who was working at the location on Sunday morning (1/3) but, she was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. She is a great representation of U-Haul. I would definitely rent from this location again even though there are other U-Haul locations closer to me.

Giving Covid, I was very disappointed in the condition of the interior. There was a empty drink container rolling around the floor. I used a sanitizing wipe on the steering wheel, window crank, door handle, seats etc and it was black from all the dirt! On the plus side, the mobile checkin process was easy however the key was not in the truck so someone not wearing a mask came out and handed to me (so no social distancing!)

Uhaul representative AJ Sijiye went out of his way to meet all of the customers need. He was calm, polite and courteous. It was good to see one individual staffing three registers & executing tasks flawlessly. I suggest that more representative be present specially during rush hours.

Management should look at having more employees working to handle the workload and have customers taken care off faster.

I reserved unit 2009, but when I went to the unit to move stuff in it had been taken. I called the girl working on the internal and she came up to the building to see right away. She wasn't sure if the prior person had moved everything out and there was a lock still on it. So she instantly put me in one that was empty across from 2009. She got a broom and dust pan and cleaned it out for me and I got to move in right then. She had excellent customer service and a positive attitude.

You have been consistently understaffed at this location. I returned the equipment in a timely manner. There was one attendant with a line of people there. I said do you want me to leave the equipment in the return area and the gentleman said yes. I left it as instructed and I was charged an additional $20 for an after hours return. That is absurd. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I can't wait to tell people if you do not deal with this. You have been consistently understaffed at this location. I returned the equipment in a timely manner. When I went to rent our equipment there was 1 guy there and a lady with a uhaul tag on her shirt just berating the young man. He was continuing to work with the customers in the store as she was just going off. I have worked in customer service for 30 plus years and I really felt so bad for this young man. He was wonderful in helping me get the truck that we needed and the car dolly. I truly commend this young man to remaining calm and professional.

Have more reps avail during peak times. The gentlemen who helped me was fantastic and really hustled. Hooked up my trailer and gave me the next size trailer since the one I reserved had a flat tire. Great customer service

Lady at counter was nice at first but had young daughter running around and hollaring that was distracting and completely unprofessional. There's a thing called child care. I don't take my kids to work! She hooked up trailer and I waited and waited and she just disappeared. I assumed she was done so I start to pull off and she walked behind my truck with another wiring harness and I almost hit her. She had not communicated with me at all that she was coming back with one. Then, she got attitude about me almost hitting her and was completely unprofessional about it. SHE caused that scene by not being professional and communicating. If I hadn't looked in my mirror, I would have run over her. She's lucky!! I've had problems with this location before. Seems like they just stick whoever they can find behind the counter. Uhaul needs to step it up at Oakwood. This location is too busy to have mother's and their kids running it.

Hello my name is Lindsay and I've recently used this location to rent a uhaul. my pickup time was scheduled for 5pm. I arrived 15 minutes early bc the man I spoke with on the phone entered my email address incorrectly so I couldn't proceed with the forms online (getting code for keys). The gentleman working was very kind and professional, but he seem a little bothered at the fact that I was having technical issues and I needed his help. He was in the process of closing the store as we were speaking (4:55pm) I had finally received a verification code and he told me that everything was good to go and follow through with the forms online and it would give me code to get keys. So, I stepped out of the store so he could finish closing, but I was still having technical issues because of the first error of the incorrect email address. instead of properly helping me out he proceeded to tell me the code to the lockbox where the keys were located. This was my first experience renting a uhaul so I was unfamiliar with the process. My pickup time was 5:00pm and as I stated previously I was their 15 minutes prior to pickup time. My fiancé and I knew that we couldn't just take the keys so I called the 1800 number to correct the inconvenience on behalf of the store worker. We were inconvenienced in a major way because we had to wait in the uhaul parking lot for over an hour and a half and also fix the problems ourselves. I feel as if I was a burden to the gentleman working that evening and he just was in a rush to leave. Their were also other customers in the lot standing at the door that he refused to help even though it was only 4:59pm. I understand closing time is closing time, but I'm sure you have a customer service policy you expect your employees to uphold. And my opinion of the customer service was extremely poor. In no way am I trying to get the gentleman in trouble, but I was inconvenienced and I had to go back on MY word with my landlord in regards to what time I would have the last of my things out of his property. Since we weren't able to leave the uhaul location off of mcever road until 6:45pm 1 hour 45 mins past my pickup time I had to inconvenience my landlord by making him wait on me and he wasn't to thrilled about that. The original quote I was given was around 45$ give or take mileage. I was charged 70$ total and I honestly feel as if I shouldn't have had to pay the full amount because of the way that location handles their customers. Please respond to inquiry about changing my final quote of 70$ for a uhaul van that I used for only a few hours. I did not take the name of the gentleman working on location at the mcever uhaul in Gainesville, Ga simply because he rushed me out of the door. As I stated earlier I'm not asking for the gentleman to be punished I just feel as if I deserve a small reimbursement for the troubles I had to go through especially since I pretty much did the gentleman's job for him. The truck we rented had a leak in the roof and a vision impairing crack in the windshield. Once our furniture was loaded and we found the leak, spent several hours trying to tape it up so it would not ruin our furniture.

I rented the truck for 4 hours (from 7 AM - 11 AM). This UHaul facility charged me around $47.00 extra for going 220 miles. I went to CubeSmart in just off Atlanta Highway on Old Epps Bridge Road in Athens, GA from Oakwood, GA which is around 90 miles TOPS. I was moving a small load (a desk and a chair) by myself, and I had to end my lease on the storage facility when the office opened at 9:30 AM and I left there a little before 10 AM. I brought and unloaded the small load at my home BY MYSELF, which is about 2-3 miles down the road from the UHAUL facility. I paid around 10.50 for gas to the facility and back. Yet the manager told UHaul that there was NO discrepancy with the mileage.

The truck had a broken windshield, doors wouldn't close properly and the A/C would come and go. All of which I could forgive if it weren't for the exorbitant cost. A dollar a mile is excessive at best. At least offer 25-35 miles free with the rental. Obviously the money isn't going into maintaining the fleet. My beef isn't so much with the individual store as it is with corporate. My business, at least, will be going to your competitors.

Suggest that employees acknowledge customers when they come inside! I stood at the desk for several minutes while the guy behind the counter did something (not on the phone) before he finally looked up and asked my name. Said nothing during the transaction and acted as if I was a major interruption to his day. I will rent from a neighborhood location or drive to another UHaul location the next time before I come back to Oakwood, GA!
