have people who know your store hours and do what they say they will. When I reserved trailer was told they were NOT open sunday so I rented it for two days, when I picked it up was told they WERE open sunday. Was told that as long as I had it there when they opened at 9 I would NOT be charged for another day. I was. Worker there did not give me credit for second said he would correct and send email to confirm, called back few hours later, since I had not received email, another worker said he was on computer doing it as we spoke. I STILL DO NOT have confirmation of refund. It is only $15, it is not about the money, it is about your company's integrity. If anybody here asks me if I would recommend them, my answer is a NO.

Moqraine L.A leak developed above our storage unit after Hurricane Ian. I removed a few damaged items. The management's solution was to put a tarp above our unit. When it rained I could hear rain dripping on the tarp and see a puddle accumulating on it. Whenever I went in to the office to check on the status of the roof repair or the availability of another unit, there was always someone new at the front desk who was unaware that there was a problem. There's a big turnover in employees. One time when I went to our unit, I saw someone moving out of a unit. I went in to the office to inquire about the possibility of moving in to that space. The employee had no idea how to put my name on a wait list nor was he willing to take my phone number or write a note to give to the manager. We have left U-Haul and moved into another storage unit in North Port where we have responsible management that responds to our needs. And, we do not have a leaky roof!

WILLIAM T.I place my reservation several weeks ago. I wanted to pick it up in Englewood, FL and return it to the same location. I was then called and told that that location didn't have a truck available, so they moved me to another location in Englewood, then a week before my reservation I received another phone call saying that location did not have a truck for me either and move the location to port charlotte. The day I was to pick up the truck I called around 2pm to see if I would pick it up earlier. I was then told that, the location dis not have a truck for me as I was suppose to pick it up at 6pm. I was told I would get a call back. Over an hour later I got a call back and was told that I now have to pick up and drop the truck off in North Port. I was very displeased with the customer service that I received as I placed this order several weeks ago and there should have not been this difficult to get a rental truck.

After car unloaded then drive onto their lot so that transporter could be disengaged from our truck. Going to our residence and unloading and then returning with empty transporter was out of our way. We choose this location for its convenience.

After over 30 minutes on the phone with U-Haul and the office trying to locate one, I had to leave in order to make my appointment to get the car. Fortunately as I was leaving an AT showed up. But after this fiasco, I was nearly an hour behind schedule.

(This was a CSR named Kody allen) so i called uhaul online when i got home and spoke to operator and she called the store and spoke to RICHARD Perrin (Gen manager) and she said he was suppoed to call me today but is mid afternoon and i didnt receive the call and its almost 3pm. Also when i got to my unit today there were 2 uhaul moving trucks parkd in front of my door(drive up access) and i had to ask the front desk if they could move them ( she only moved one and i was still blocked by the front end of the second truck still no drive up access. and then i ask them about the gate code and hours and they inform me that the security gate is broken and that i( or anyone) can drive in 24 hours a day!!! i do not feel very secure with my belongings in this facility, so far everything stinks.

I purchased insurance and a look from the staff on the start date of my rental, the staff member did not inform me the lock i had chosen would not comply with my insurance coverage until about 3 weeks later. Upon arrival the storage unit i had reserved and which was available online was not available and i had to purchase a bigger unit at a higher cost then i had wished to spend. The staff did remind me to get my lock but that was the extent of the useful service I felt was provided.

We couldn't get our truck or trailer close to the storage we overpaid for. NO! I would never suggest anyone EVER deal with your facility. For the prices you charge.... clean up the yard!!

The North Port U-Haul storage center was extremely busy, and they had a lot of vehicles and trailers so much so that at one point I was almost unable to get to my storage unit. I was able to get to the unit, by driving slowly and watching my mirrors. This is not a bad thing but it does say that they need more land and storage space for their vehicles and trailers. Overall I'm very happy with the experience. And I will be using this same service in the future if needed.

When we arrived we were casually told there was no 10 x 20 units available as if it was no problem! The best they could do was 2 - 10 x 10 separate units. And to add insult to injury we are now going to be charged $129.99 a month for each ($259.98 total) rather than the $179.99 for the same amount of space. But standing at the counter with a full truck and movers on the way, what choice did we have? Doesn't seem fair we pay more every month for inconvenient, separated, spaces due to U-Haul not being able to honor their commitment. Felt like a classic Bait and Switch.
