I reserved a rental on line. When I went to pick up the rental, the representative was unable to complete the contract process. The representative was employed for two days and unfamiliar with the computer system. He was unable to load my license onto the contracting app. I had to call uhaul to have a customer service representative complete the transaction. This caused in a one hour delay. Also, the interior windshield of the vehicle was filthy.R O.
The gentleman helping us was nice but it was apparent that he was not properly trained on how to do a vehicle rental. We spent roughly an hour trying to get the truck rental taken care of with several calls to the boss. Need to better train employees before leaving them on their own.DANIEL W.

Nothing!! By far this UHAUL location is the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Best on the East Coast! From professional super friendly staff at both check in and check out, to a vehicle that was so clean it looked brand new, my experience was an A+. I have used this facility for approximately seven years, with the fee starting at $95. Incremental increases escalated the monthly fee to $135, a 42% increase ! Located on the second floor, there have been ongoing issues with either the elevator and/or the garage door function. Though of late, "perhaps" labor issues/covid might be a reason for the lack of a fix, this was going on long before covid hit. Management was sympathetic, but there did not seem to be corporate support/concern. It was not until I raised the issue to corporate more than once, that a credit was issued, but still not fixed as of yesterday. Hopefully this gets to the right people so this facility can be brought to a proper standard.THOMAS G. | Overall Experience

Maybe there could be a notification somewhere that lets the customer know that they'll need to wait for approval before getting the keys to the vehicle. That way, the customer knows that, while their pick-up time is 9 am, they might not leave with the vehicle until 9:15-9:30 am based on the process.Matthew H.

Nice people, well appointed facility, clean and well-maintained equipment. The rental process was quick and easy; the drop-was quicker and easier. Best vehicle rental experience ever!Francis S.
During the reservation process it was communicated to me that there would be one month free storage for a one way rental and return at this location. I confirmed on the phone my reservation and when I went to return my truck and use my storage unit the employee told me that I didn't have a reservation. It took about half an hour additional on a busy moving day to get this unit set up. I wasn't able to then use my free month of storage so I was promised that the charge should be reversed "when my boss comes" as I had to pay up front. I never received a key card or pin to access the unit so I had to be asked to be let in. The garage door had a broken sensor so we were unable to close the door when we left. I called multiple times in the following weeks after I didn't receive my refund and was unable to get through to someone due to long wait times that I could not accommodate. When I did finally move out and asked the local facility about my refund of the charge on my credit card which was less than three weeks prior I was told "it was too late" to do anything about it. I would not recommend them for storage to anyone.Peter F. | Overall Experience

The first truck we took off the lot had no visor on the drivers side and the drivers side window would not roll up properly. We drive back and exchanged it for another. It was a good thing there was another truck of the same size available. Might be a good idea to check these little things out before renting.Judith W.

When moving we decided to go with Uhaul to help move our big items to our new home because we have never had any issues. We booked our reservation four weeks before our move date to ensure availability of the truck we needed. The day before we were told that our pick up location had changed to a location further away from our home and one hour later than what we had scheduled it for. We understood the change as it was explained that it was due to availability. On the morning of our move we arrived at our new pick up location and at the later time to find that our truck was not available. This was new to another customer not returning our truck. While there were other trucks on site we were told we had to wait for our truck to be returned. We waited one hour in the parking lot of Uhaul for our truck to be returned. This was especially difficult due to inclement weather impacting the area making our move more difficult the longer we waited in the parking lot of Uhaul for our reserved equipment to be returned. The customer service rep was unapologetic and did not offer any alternatives or ways to mitigate the extremely frustrating situation. Needless to say I will never us Uhaul again.James D.

I understand I did not have a climate control unit but for the floor to be completely soaked with an oily greasy substance that caused mold on everything in my storage unit to the point where I had to throw everything away is a bit much. I don't know if they need to seal their doors better or get some sort of dehumidify thing system but all of the property was destroyed. The staff member on duty anytime I went was incredibly rude, like I was inconveniencing her for asking her to do her job. your App on the phone and any web site that involves off hours pick up should be disposed of. Came in the next day. The people at the location were very kind and made you welcome and helpful . I could not pick up my truck using the web site the night before even waiting 30 for customer service. i would give the app a -10. You should not have it at all. It just sat there doing nothing when you pushed a button. Even with customer serviice on the phone. But you better keep all those humans at the location. they dug you out of a big hole.. the CEO should try to pick up a truck. See if he/she waists 50 min and not get the truck :(John D.

We asked for 12 blankets to be included to cover our furniture during the move. There were none and we had no choice but to buy bubble wrap to protect what we have. It wasn't effective and we ended up with some damage. They also charged $20 to drop off the truck after hours. This wasn't explained to us and we have reached out to customer service for resolution. My things were in a 30 ft storage unit for 2 months ans were completely ruined after a lot of water got in. My things were riddled with mold. The doors had been changed 3 weeks prior to discovering the water and I was never notified of a problem. I would give an excellent rating but there was an equipment failure at the facility. The elevator on the Second level wouldn't work which is very inconvenient for me and I had to load the conveyor that was further away, twice, just to get to my storage unit. The manager was unable to initiate at pass card as the readers weren't working that day. She went above and beyond to help me and I thought she could really use more help. I can't say enough good things about this U-Haul office. My experience was just perfect. Both before and after I had my unit I stopped into the office a number of times to buy moving supplies, ask questions, etc. The staff at this U-Haul office is uniformly pleasant, well-informed, and helpful. They helped me make economical choices about packing materials, and gave me good advice on how to manage my daughter's upcoming move ... which may involve renting a U-Box. Our reserved unit was given away and we didn't find out until our shipping container arrived and we were without a unit.
