Try to make sure if there is a charge for a service such as the delivery of the Boxes to a residence that the customer will be notified. Elements like that were selling points when we purchased the service being happy to have the Pods be available to be shipped to our house for unloading. We ended up getting charged & subsequently got the money refunded but was a bad look for the operation not having total transparency. On a side note you guys should provide some type of 3-d fill-in chart showing the Boxes' space & how people fill them up making it be a way to track as people go. Where this would be important would be when someone is going to leave a Box in storage for over a year they could open that email up or schematic which shows how the pod was packed originally when it was delivered or when they wanted to access it at a later date. People could fill out the info as they go making up what they put where so if they had to also access the Box after it was in long term storage they'd know where it is even if they don't remember at that point. Otherwise the experience overall was fairly good I thought lots of the people that we ran into from the uHaul operation were all very friendly & competent. I was happy that our items arrived safely! Though we did have issues with being able to close 2 out of the 3 Pods we had because of their hinges & lock metals being so warped & used that it didn't allow for the latch to be fastened onto the lock very easily. All of these were small problems for when moving your stuff from Central Colorado out to Western New York. Steven at that location was very rude, couldnt be found anywhere. When I pulled into uhaul he was at the entrance door looked at me and walked into the lot. I waited inside for about 10 min. I went to the outside doors and yelled out is anybody there NO RESPINSE. I walked inside to an area where there was another set of doors. I opened those. He was no where to be found. He finally walks in, walks by me doesnt ask cab I help you. I said to him Ive been waiting for over ten min. Im the ONLY customer here. I said this is unacceptable and the worst customer service I've ever received. Steven then says if you dont like it leave. I said I'm not leaving I rented a van and need to be somewhere by 9:30. He finally gets the paperwork done hands me the key tells me find the van by matching it to the number on the keytag. IVE never had to find and locate a uhaul truck. I go outside. Walk the whole left side of the lot NO van. I walk towards the building to go inside when I see a single van parked on the other side of the building. I am limping due to a bad knee . Thats where the van was. The windshield wipers were frozen to the windshield. Have to wait for the van to defrost and warm up. Now we bring the van back. The Mgr is there. He lied and said he watched the video and heard me screaming at Steven. When my son said he wanted to see the video the mgr said we could view it with the police if we wanted to call them. He then tells my son there are cameras but there is NO audio. SO HE OURRIGHT LIED. He now says he can see what transpired by gestures in the video. I never expected to be treated like this. I'm 68 have to have a knee replacement and your customer service was horrendous. It was NEVER like this before. I asked the Mgr why not for anything but their employee couldnt at least advise where the truck was parked ? His response they dont have to. I have rented from uhaul for a few years now at least twice or more a year. By the time I left my heart was racing. I was so stressed. The manager and staff are very congenial and helpful. I appreciate that they are running the place. The only thing I would suggest is to be prepared for when the hitch is too low. I had to spend hours trying to get a hitch that did not have a 2inch drop. My setup was way too low to pull the trailer. I would have purchased an additional or swapped out my hitch if only they had the equipment. This resulted in a lost sale and a bit of Frustrated uncared for feelings on my part.Christine G.

I would recommend the location due to the convenience not for the vehicle. I felt I was driving a death trap, it had 3 different lights on the dashboard ( warning lights). When asked how many miles I was going I told the guy and he looked at me like I was stupid, so ended up saying triple the amount ( I know I didn't pay). My $19.95 uhaul ended up costing me $53 and change plus gas, not sure what the $14 â€œ safe moverâ€ charge was and still don't. I have always used uhaul, but after Thais priceâ€¦ Never again. Find some way to keep the gentleman who handled my transactions on Saturday the 8th. In a lobby lined up with customers, he was there by himself. They would not help me load my car unless I paid them $20. That is something I have never heard of with the company. You guys rent your own stuff but won't help someone load a car? That's complete nonsense! The first truck that I got into had the check engine light on. I thought these were supposed to pass inspection? The flaps on top of the second truck started peeling away. It made for a loud ride. Engine oil was also low on the truck. I can't imagine I'd use the company ever again. The dropoff location was full of amazing people. Super friendly and compassionate. Let them know they have to return at your location only before they drive far away and try to return at another U-Haul. Only to be turned away and have to spend hours on the phone and online trying to figure out what to do with the vehicle and where to take it. I had a storage unit and I kept receiving notices that my bill increased. I don't feel like I should have paid so much because their were mice feces on the floor and on my stuff and what ever the mice could burrow through. I would have kept the storage unit longer if it were not for these things. Rodent infestation and mildew causing damage to some items. Paid for climate control and should not have mildew. Insurance company difficult to work with. Agent is not responding to my emails because I did not accept the initial offer and refused to sign off before the unit was completely empty. Once unit was empty more damage was found. Once I filed a claim, staff at local U-Haul facility refused to speak with me. Most staff members at local facility we're not knowledgeable of the procedure to file claim. One person, I believe his name was William Wilson, who has left the position, was as helpful as he could be and seem to be knowledgeable. I reserved and paid for an Outdoor, Pull up storage unit months before my move-in day. When I arrived on my move-in day, I was informed that there were no outdoor units available. I even showed the printed paperwork. They said there would only be one inside of the building, but it was on the first floor. This was a struggle for the people who helped me move in, as we all thought (as we should), that I was going to drive up to my outdoor unit that I reserved. I didn't give them a hard time, they said they were sorry, etc. Anyways, it all worked out. (Mind you, I still thought that the replacement unit they gave me would still be climate controlled, as this is what I reserved to have.) When I arrived 3 months later to move out, I was astounded to see my entire mattress as well as my box spring were completely molded. All different colors. After checking the website and storage map, I found that the room I was given, 1271, was indeed NOT climate controlled. I also was billed $148 monthly, whereas I thought it was going to be $114 a month.
