I told them I was going to drop the trailer off in Syracuse....I get to Syracuse and they say it's another $40 to drop it off there so after a bunch of hassle I ended up bringing it back to Niagara falls....

I spent 20 minutes on the U-Haul website entering all my information including credit card details for express delivery of my rental vehicle. The agent at the store still went through everything like I hadn't entered anything the day before. It wasted 10 minutes of my time. I also am a returning customer. Penske is looking better!!!

Uhaul has a wide selection, but a 5x8 enclosed with ramp door instead of roll-up would be a HUGE welcome to the inventory....

Notify customers of cutting the hours of rentals, was recommended the wrong size truck even after saying what I had to move. Only thing offered was a trailer for my inconvenience, had to make 2 trips and returned the truck early because I wouldn't have had time to load and unload by the time I needed to return it without being charged another full day. I was already on a short time frame to move with working 6days a week. The truck and trailer would have still taken a couple more trips. Cheaper to use my own vehicle. Notify customers, time of availability is your time of drop off and not the time of actual pick up. Was given wrong storage unit, lady suggested 10x10 for a standard 3 bdrm. Told her I don't have a "standard 3 bdrm" I need the bigger one and gave her the price. lady told me ok that's what I'd be getting (what I asked for) nope, I got the 10x10. If I had the time and money I would have taken my stuff some where else. Now I have our things stored at 3 different locations because of all of this. I've used this facility many times before, after I've had one bad experience I still came back. But this is the 2nd incident, and worse than the first.

I just have to commend the young man who helped me unhook the car dolly from my truck. The location had just closed and he rushed out and helped me even tho he was technically not working anymore. He was very nice and polite even though I am sure he just wanted to go home. Excellent customer service! I wish I had gotten his name ....

walked in and no one was to be found for 10 minutes so i started looking around and seen a pregnant worker 9 months pregnant smoking cigarettes outside YUCK! who smokes when there 9 months pregnant and then on top of that no one is inside at all to help customers.. ghetto workers work there very unprofessional and trashy.

third time in a row while using uhaul truck was not available. Not sure what the point of making a reservation ahead of time does because the truck is never available. Will not use Uhaul if I move again.

Trailer had dried mud in the bed. When I pulled into the return line there was 3 employees outside. They quickly disappeared. We waited about 5 minutes and took the trailer off ourselves.

The left mirror was completely broken to the point where it would turn all the way around while driving. That was so dangerous and could of caused a serious accident. I constantly had to stick my hand out the window to turn the mirror back around. Also there were many people who's reservations were messed up and there was not enough trucks available for the correct times. Even through this chaos the one worker was still very nice. She was going to give me a discount for the confusion and broken truck however that never happened.

Terrible customer service. Went in to ask about additional charges that were charged to my card since I could not get through by calling and was given an attitude, cut off while I was speaking and felt like I was being rushed to leave even though no one was behind me in line. Left there still confused about the charges and very upset. Will not be coming back.

They called me at 11:30AM to tell me my 5pm rental was ready. When I got there at 5 to pick up my rental the truck on my contract wasn't there. We had to go back inside to find where our truck was. There ended up being a truck for us once they straightened everything out.

Seat ripped up and very poor customer service, considering I rent from you MONTHLY and spend thousands of dollars over time using your equipment. I set up Airbnb's and Im always moving/buying furniture & appliances. Every. Single. Month!! No more. I will now be using someone different. You blew it Uhaul.

We told the rep at military road in Niagara Falls we wanted to drop off the uhaul in Hornell NY. My husband took it to Hornell and was told the drop off location was Tinkertown (Alfred Station) This was 9 miles further (one way). Maybe this was my husbands fault with not paying attention when he picked up the uhaul. Other than that everything was fine.

Reserved Uhaul for 2 days, April 30th & May1st at the Niagara Falls, NY store on Military Road. Even though I had made the reservation for 2 days I still had to stop what I was doing to call for an extension. Upon calling I was notified that the office should not had made 2 separate reservations for 2 different trucks. This was a small inconvenience. But was a inconvenience is that the truck leaked when it rained over night ruining my antique cedar chest, chest of drawers, new vacuum cleaner, water stains on my end tables and coffee table. When returning the truck I was told by an Associate that someone would contact me from Uhaul to discuss the damages done from the leak in the truck. I am still waiting for contact. The truck that was rented to me had over 166,000 miles and needs maintenance. The Associates at this location were very pleasant, helpful and respectful. I will recommend this store to my neighbors and friends. Thank you.

The man who put on our hitch, Omar, was excellent. He did a good job, and was very pleasant -- but he was there by himself, had to help someone who had a broken-down truck, so no one was there when we got there to pick up our van. Clearly, whoever is managing the Niagara Falls store needs to get it together and schedule and/or hire more employees. Almost every time I've gone into this store I have to wait and frequently there's no one around. Today Omar did the very best he could, under the circumstances, and he's obviously very competent. We don't blame him at all for the low rating we gave this Military Road location.

Not impressed with that girl who was in there when we returned the truck. Watching a YouTube video that wasn't appropriate even when you are NOT at work let alone when you are at work. Sorry, I feel you should be acting professional when working with the public.

I usually go to Tonawanda location, but hitch installer was on vacation. The Military Road, Niagara Falls location was suggested. Am happy with both. Both are about same time/distance from my house. In the future this will give me two good options.

when we went in the computer was down then we had to call customer service she seem like she didnt want to help us and we got hung up on I guessed the 3rd time was a charm. it was a hole lot of time to try to rent a truck for 2 hour it didnt seem like u-hale wanted to make money

The rep who was setting me up for the truck seemed rude and short. Not polite at all. I felt rushed. On return, the gentleman checking the truck was polite as he was at checkout when he setup the truck. He said the girl would finish me up inside. She apparently was too busy with her company in the parking lot and i had to wait over 5 minutes for the nice gentleman to finish the truck to cash me out. The girl just stared as i entered and as i left. Not very pleased with the customer service out of her at all.

Employees were friendly and helpful, but vehicle not cleaned. There was some confusion at pick up on if it had been cleaned but they decided it had. Furniture pads loose in the back of the truck, hand cart not secured and rolled around the back until I got to my location and opened the back. The cab smelled like weed as well as having weed in the drivers side door pocket.
