The vehicle was dirty inside and out. Mud or some brown stain was all over the passenger side. The drivers side rear turn signal was blown out causing me to get pulled over. The truck had insurance markers all over it with damage all over the bed. The customer service associate was very unwelcoming and her attitude was very rude.

I selected the feature to be able to get my truck without going inside the store and I followed all the instructions but when I went to the lock box and put in the code there wasn't a key inside so I had to go inside anyway. Kind of defeated the purpose on the feature I chose.

I spent 45 minutes picking up a truck when everything had already been done on-line. The truck number they gave me didn't match the information in the link that was texted to me so I had to go back inside and wait in line again. The computer system was "slow" so there was a backup at the desk. She told be to just take new photos and update the mileage. I did all that and then the website gave me an error saying that I can't update the mileage. Then I waited in line again. Also, there was no bathroom available which made the situation worse.

More customer parking would improve the overall experience. The associate who I dealt with was great, both knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Very helpful with trailer hookup and info. Nice trailer. Only a short trip was done so I can't comment on long trip use but I can't imagine this trailer not working well. Good price I thought.

just 1 thing. I read somewhere that if I brought the vehicle back before the time I needed it for, that the fee would be adjusted. I rented it for 10 hours and brought it back in 5 hours. The employee stated that the vehicle was rented for 24 hours and it didn't matter what time I brought it back that I paid for the 24 hours.

Please inspect vehicles when returned and before renting to next customer. The odor of marijuana was so strong in the truck I rented, it gagged me as soon as I opened the truck door. I had to drive it with the windows all down to keep from getting sick from the smell. This is a black eye on Uhaul and should not be tolerated.

Store was closed at 10:30, my reservation time, employee got back at 11. The truck rattled so bad I thought y head would explode and it trailed oily smoke the whole time, covered the car I was towing with black filthy oil residue. I will never use haul again, Penskee only. God-awfull location and trucks.

The young lady that waited on me was extremly customer oriented and very helpful. Because of people like this i will highly recommend U-Haul at the Mt Pleasant location. Its nice to have a knowledgeable and friendly person help you. I can't remember her name but I am sure you can look it up with the date I rented and commend her for her excellent job.

It's not easy to use the website when returning and no WiFi it took about 10-15 extra mins just to return the truck.

Great customer service. Only advice is to check the maintenance on trucks a little more carefully. There was a tail light out I didn't realize until i need to make a left turn. And halfway through my drive to my destinations. Check engine light came on. I made the location aware of these issues.

It was great to be able to rent a truck so quickly and for so little time at such a convenient location. There did seem to be a number of tech issues as I had to re-enter the same info a number of times during the process which was frustrating especially under a time constraint..

I found it very difficult to reach any of your locations by phone, no one would answer. Once I was there, the gentleman in New Bedford was very helpful and courteous. Did Not Receive any paperwork showing that I returned trailer, did not feel comfortable about that.

I was told that if I did not complete the “return equipment” form with my smart phone then I would be charged a large sum of money. I was at the uhual location with the rented equipment and the clerk refused to take the equipment back. Not everyone has access to a smart phone. It made zero sense why he would not take the equipment back, and he was also very rude about it.

Monica is the manager at this location, and while the store was open, and there was staff on site, she refused to let her staff check in my return. I was forced to go check it in myself, and do the check in process on my phone. I specifically asked to have her staff check my return in, and I was told by the staff member behind the desk that, “the manager told her to only have customers check in returns themselves”, even though it was not after hours.

My husband rented a truck today. We rent a truck 2 times a month, every month, for a Food Pantry and have been doing so for over 5 years. All of a sudden, the only way my husband can return the truck and get a receipt is by using a smart phone to return the truck. He does not have a smart phone so I had to be called out of work to go and meet him at Uhaul Then we still couldn't get a receipt because the woman would not print one for us and she informed me that it was “2021”. I don't care what year it is. Provisions should be made for those who do not have a smart phone. Also, this return policy was not told to my husband until he showed up to return the truck. He was handed a piece of paper with the procedure. By the way, If you don't follow this procedure you are charged an extra $20. He should have been told this before he rented the truck. A man behind him in line didn't have his smart phone with him. Now what is he suppose to do? Don't worry we will not be renting from this Uhaul on Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford, MA anymore. Penske will get our business.

The rep (Ana) did not attach the trailer properly and the trailer fell off the hitch (2) times!! Fortunately, there wasn't any traffic around to cause a serious accident.. That was terrible!!!! The brake lights didn't work on the trailer either!

They charged me 5 times for nothing and I took pictures like it told and charged my card for gas knowing it was at half so you charged me to fill up the truck this is outrageous I used u-haul so many times but this is the last I'm done with u-haul your chain and workers suck and don't know how to do their job but like to charge people outrageous amount of times you guys need to recheck your workers and your chain because when I first got the van it wasn't sanitized and the acceleration was terrible fix the vans your corp makes money so at least you could do is fix your shit boxes never purchasing from your company ever again

Materials I added were not in the truck upon arrival. Had to go back to get them. Employee was not there at pickup time so had to wait for them. Was overcharged 20 miles from what was used. Never heard back after sending in a request to have explained. Sent pictures of the odometer. Haven't been happy with this location. Second time having a problem. If I ever need UHaul again will definitely not use this location

Gas tanks should be on full. I received the tank on 1/4 tank and was promised a credit for taking it that way. I did not see any credit on my invoice. I returned truck over 1/4 full.
