The vehicle was very poorly maintained. the headlights and turn signals would work intermittently and the rear cargo door would get completely stuck causing my items to get wet in the rain and required the use of a sledge hammer to fully close the door.

At checkout I was asked how many miles I would be driving. I said 50 and was charged about $87. I returned the truck only having used 47 miles. I got a receipt for $117 with additional fees. It also says I returned the car at 2:21 pm when I returned it at 1:21 pm. How am I getting charged 30 more dollars when I returned the car with less miles than I said I would be driving?

Nice management but one major negative: no employees were wearing masks. This is a non- starter. Should be wearing masks all the time.

i appreciated that the rep very willingly showed me how the truck operated. My only improvement would be that I had wanted to rent a dozen blankets which was on my online confirmation and they only had six left. It doesn't seem that these type of rentals are connected to the reservation and they should be. It would be different if I had asked for them at the time of rental but I had it on the online reservation so it should have been ready for me as well as the truck.

Katie and Jordan were very helpful and polite. The inside of the location is very neat and clean. (never used to be!) Jordan made the rental pickup easy and Katie was there to take care of making sure everything went well when I got back. I rent from this location often. In the past I would try to go to other locations due to the unprofessional staff esp the manager (Will?) Nice change and now I can look forward to a nice experience when I go there!

I strongly recommend that Uhaul properly seevice returned vehicles, in particular one way cross country vehicles. It is very dangerous due to the increased speed limits up to 80 MPH, that the 18 wheel plus transports do not abide by and that are traveling in excess of 100 MPH. In my instance, I had to physically put pressure on the steering wheel to keep the vehicle to the right line when being overtaken by these vehicles for over 3000 miles. That is not acceptable and puts the renters in danger.

My only complaint would be to answer the phone on site instead of forwarding to a center!! No one answers the phone, then when I get there they are sittings down in side?? But super friendly and polite and helpful!!

The odometer was incorrect, I called the dispatch location to correct it because I couldn't change it by the link. They noted it in the contract and I told the customer service counter about the note and I was charged 4000 miles that I didn't drive. The customer service counter neglected to communicate the note to each other and now I have a $1600 charge on my account. They were helpful in changing it so that I will get reimbursed, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Got a call a day before I was moving that the uhaul size I had requested online was not available at this location. Very poor experience with trying to get the uhaul size I wanted and with uhaul employee I spoke on the phone with prior to deciding to use a smaller uhaul.

The employee I rented off this am was awful, he was angry at his girlfriend yelling and screaming at her, yelling fuck this fuck you, I WILL NEVER use this location again, if I didn't have a reservation and had to move my motorcycle this day I would have walked out, The employee didn't even hook up the safety chains on the trailer, he was so mad he didn't care smh what a bad experience

Only 1 person on duty on a Sunday. I'm not blaming the employee but am blaming the company. I waited in line for my turn over 30 minutes to drop off the vehicle. The employee was very nice.

I reserved a truck on Sept. 3rd for 8am on the 4rth. When I arrived there was no truck available. The person that was suppose to drop it off a 7am never showed and the one at 9am never showed up. I had to go online and look for a location that had truck available, why do we/I have to so this, BS! I had done everything accordingly to your protocol and it failed. After calling the other local UHaul places and finding out no one had a truck available I drove back and rented a Van. I will never trust a scheduled rental again it blew my day, my time and you may have blown a potential future customer. Frustrating day to say the least. The employees were nice, the problem is the way you run the business. Why should a customer be the one to do all the running around looking for a vehicle when it was supposedly already done the day before and told there would be a vehicle available, again BS. Very FRUSTRATED customer!!!

Sunday morning. Young lady behind counter very knowledgeable and helpful. Line of more than 5 with only this young lady working. Rented a trailer. Hitch did not work and only one backup that worked with an adapter. Been here many times with family and friends for rentals. Always under staffed. Customers are alway frustrated. You can do a much better job and you choose not to. Feel free to contact me. To reinforce the young lady was very good at her job. None of the poor review is about her.

Attendant used the wrong adapter to hook up the trailer lights, climbed under it stating he was connecing the braek lightss for the trailer. We came very close to having 2 serious acccidents while traveling w on Interstate 195 in Fall River. When we pulled over to check, we discovered that although the attendant told us we needed and adapter and then went inside and got one, then climbed under the bumper to connect the lights, he basically faked hooking them up likely because he then discovered he had the wrong adapter and didn't want to lose the rental. When we complained he told us we would not be charged for this rental. However we WERE charged. At age 58 I can say this is the absolute worst rental experience I've ever encountered. This guy should be fired.

I'm only mildly irritated that the uhaul I had reserved a week ahead was not available to be on my moving day. I had reserved the 26 foot truck, and was only able to use a 15 foot truck. That forced me into making 2 trips. I had acquired help, but they were under time constraints. So that difference really had an impact on my, and others, time management that day.

Went to pick up at 9am the computer system went down had to return at noon before system to pick up and then they were out of wireharness for lights until someone returned there trailer another half hour longer drove up from Maryland wasted 3 and a half hours

Employees were nowhere to be seen. Truck had mud on exterior. Truck was not checked prior to my arrival and failed en route to my starting location. Roadside assistance needed to be called for an overheating truck and 6 gallons of antifreeze were added. This resulted in a 5 hour delay. We have received no call from uhaul location, a manager, or customer support. I realize mistakes happen, but this how uHual treats customers? I will be posting reviews on all of the review sites that I use.

I would have given five stars, but i didn't because I had ordered over the phone through customer service and, when I went to pick up there was nothing waiting for me. I had to wait another 3 days to get the car I needed.

The location was scheduled to open at 7 am as was my pickup and the associate did not show up until 7:15. He also sent the text message for confirmation of truck condition to my daughter and instead of resending it so I could confirm the condition just sent me ion my way. Additionally I reserved this uhaul to pickup in Fall River MA. Uhaul called me two days prior to pickup to advise no vehicle was available and that I would need to go to New Bedford. When I said this was not my issue and that they needed to move the equipment I was told no that Uhaul doesn't move equipment. However when I arrived at the Nee Bedford location a sign clearly stated it is Uhauls responsibility to move equipment to cover our rental.

I was told one price when renting and then the end total was increased dramatically from $30 rental for two hours to $100 and I do not feel this is right. It was very upsetting as I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas, barley any mileage added on and had it returned before the returned time frame. Would never come here again after these hidden charges. Not good business.
