Unfortunately for the first time since I’ve been renting U-Hauls (about 6) I had a not so good experience. The truck I rented from this place ended up causing me an injury on my hand the people who work there were not very thorough about the process or getting me set up. I do recommend using U-Haul because it is a great resource for moving... just not this location if you are a first time user.

Truck was filthy. Windows dirty. Side mirrors were frozen in position that allowed only a view of the sides of the truck. Unable to see what was behind me ..Extremely DANGEROUS

Assistant manager was rude when explaining my charges and tried to overcharge me until I brought it up. Drop off guy was not professional and said he just was trying to close. I drove 9 miles, put in 2 gallons of gas (more than enough) and he said I brought it back less than what I got it at (said they’d charge me for 2 more gallons). You’re telling me to go 9 miles, it takes 4 gallons of gas? I had to argue with him and good thing I took pictures. Two times by same place trying to charge me more than I should. I don’t think it was a coincidence. Be careful and take lots of pictures!

Made reservation the day before, came in the next day and no truck available for me. They overbooked trucks. Had to wait almost 2 hours for truck. Then I had to make another reservation and go through the entire process again that I previously did the day before on the app. None of my data was saved. Got the truck, the back latch barely closed. I had reserved pads, didn’t get any pads yet I so was charged for them.

I wasn’t pleased when I returned the truck....the man working, stood on the sidewalk and I had to approach him and say “is this where I leave the truck” without making eye contact and mumbling under his breath he said “yup, unless you want a receipt, then go inside”. I waited for him to look at the truck, he was taking a while so I went around the truck to see what was taking him so long....he had stopped and helped another customer. When I asked him if he was done with my truck and the imformarion he said “no, this guy had a problem”. SO I just wanted pleased on how he handled that. He was very rude.

Was charged an additional. $160 for a tire I allegedly damaged. Vehicle was never examined till a day later. Very unprofessional

Wait times when picking up and dropping off. Waiting in line to drop off for over 15min then the person at the desk said oh you can just leave the keys in the trucks if you’re dropping off. Tell people that if you’re only one person and taking longer with another customer rather than having a line of 5 people waiting for no reason. Very slow and unprofessional

When you go there on no tax days since it is a state regulation I would expect you to not charge tax....since that's the law on no tax day. When your staff says " well we are ups and we are nation wide" that generally tells me you probably are not screening your people very well. I know this because that's not how taxes work for companies. That would mean UHaul would be paying the same tax rate in every state exactly the same no matter which state you are in. Then my second favorite answer that was given from who I assume was the one in charge "yea... I don't know man Uhaul just does it own thang". I'm not trying to be overly critical here but there needs to be a bit more critical thinking going on over there. I use Uhaul alot and every experience has been fine until this time.

Rented a truck for 4 hrs on Saturday 8/10/19 picked up at 12:17 and returned same day at 4:15. They were busy and did not close out the rental and said they would close it out and email me later in the day. They never did. I called Sunday to get it closed out, was answered by the answering service who messaged them and they said they would email me later in the day, they never did. Called again on Monday and got the same service as I did on Sunday and they never closed it out. Looked up the hours they are open, they show open from 7:00am -7:00pm. I arrived at 7:00am on Tuesday to close it out and no one was there. I waited until 7:45 and a worker happened to drive by and let me know that no one Walpole be there for another 45 mins. I had called and got the answering service again Tuesday morning and they put in a call to the GM and just now at 9:15 Tuesday morning they finally closed out my contract. Horrible customer service.

Rented a 26' uhaul truck , had none available, as I was walking out , someone was pulling up in a 26' uhaul truck to return, guys at uhaul checked it in and cleaned it fast and sent me on my way with it , the only complaint was the a/c didnt work in the trunk , still was able to move and get a truck last second, great service. thanks guys!

The driveway/parking lot is annoying to navigate most times- where the loading/unloading doors are located are a pain to get to because of all the "one ways" and truck drop off zones.

Recommend friends to be extremely patient it takes at least 10 minutes until finally someone answers the phone.Trying to pay your bill there forget it call it in.This continues people will leave.
