Have more than one employee checking us in. Checking in online does speed up the process when there is only one employee working. I rented two different vehicles for two days in a row. Both of the agents were pleasant bu there was one of them. Set them up to succeed by having another agent to help!Tannan T.

I used the Mobile Pick Up option which worked smoothly overall and was nice and fast. Only suggestion was that during my rental window I couldn't find anywhere in the electronic communications I received what the fuel level was at the start of my rental. U-Haul: A little more attention to predeparture checks would be advisable. Please check the alignment of the headlights occasionally, they were extremely misaligned. Also the interior cab light was always on, I had to cover it with electricians tape to drive at night. Finally, please do not spray the cabs with that triple strength Downy fabric softener scented air freshener, it's better to smell the sweat of the previous renter than to tolerate that overbearing scent. Otherwise everything was fine.DARYL T.
Your staff failed to provide me with a COVID- sanitized vehicle. This ruined my whole experience when I was driving away and realized it. The interior was already very dirty and had someone else's garbage in it. But I realized that when the lot attendant gave me the keys he also pulled 2 take-out cups out of the cupholders. So I knew it wasn't sanitized! I had to interrupt the trip to go home and sanitize the vehicle myself, hoping that I was safe up to that point. And of course I lost 30 minutes on the clock as a result.John D.
I still don't see why I go through providing all sorts of information online (e.g. Driver's License, Credit Card Info.) and yet when I get to the location I still have to interact with counter/office staff before I can get the vehicle I ordered, check it out, and then drive away.Michael H.
1) The Lady at the check in counter was very hard to understand and with a mask on and behind a screen it was impossible to know what she was saying, especially when there is other customers at the other side of the counter. They hand you the form and then ramble through everything so quickly and highlighting so many things, that you don't have a clue what's going on and hard to understand. If they can just slow down and make sure. I had no other customers behind me, so I don't understand the rush. 2) The truck's odometer, that's all in BIG NUMBERS in Miles and so small numbers in Kilometres, it is so hard to know what your speed is. You are travelling in "Miles", we live in a Metric Country. I got billed in Miles then converted to Kilometres, so when you drop the truck of you still don't know what you are going to be charged. I was quoted in per Kilometres, but the Odometer is in Miles, not fair. 3) The Wheel alignment is so FAR out on this Truck, it was so hard to steer it. Mentioned it to the Attendant when I brought it back BUT he didn't understood what I was trying to tell him. Another one "Lost in Translation" moment. 4) The Truck is not in a good drivable condition. 5) My bill is wrong. As I said earlier that I was quoted in per Kilometre and then charged per Mile. I did 48 miles @ $ 1.48 = $68.64 according to your conversion to Kilometres I did 77 Km @ $0.89 = $68.53 I was over charged by $0.11 cents So what are you going to do about that. I also rented the same size truck in January 2021 and I never checked. This is disgusting ThanksHENDRIK B.

Hire more people like Thomas (the employee who went out of his way to help us out drop off the uhaul and check out). He was extremely helpful, and super polite. If all of your employees are like him you have nothing to worry about. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family and make sure to ask for him.AMIR B.

Clean - sort of was ok Yard guy was friendly and was doing a lot I did mention the gas meter wasn't at the right location (money grab, meh whatever had things to do â€" people to move) Yard guy was to busy didn't want to bother him But had to go inside anyway debit - so mentioned this the the girl inside and it was like meh. I was originally sent to Queensbury Market. They have one truck. it did not come back on time. The employee was not helpful. I was sent to Main St. instead. A truck was available. The employee was NOT helpful either, not forthcoming with information and extremely unclear with information and instructions and not friendly.Caragh F.

The man who helped me with the auto transport was very kind and helpful, I paid an extra 20 dollars to receive help loading the car. However, this location was severely under-staffed and he had too many customers picking up and talking to him all at once. I wasn't able to ask him all the questions I needed to. Uhaul services are great but I feel for the employees when it is so under-staffed. It would have been a lot smoother and more comfortable for everyone if there were more guys helping with the equipment.Catherine M.
Basically everything was ok. There was only one thing that we discovered (before we started) that wasn't working: the padlock to lock the door was frozen abd did not work. So, we were given a lock that DID work. You should replace the old worn out locks or those frozen and needing oiling - so no one finds they can't LOCK THE SLIDING BACK DOOR. I was the one that checked this lock before we left your lot. Inexperienced people would ASSUME it works without checking it . Big mistake! Please renew or better maintain these locks!!!RICHARD S.
Reservations made weeks in advance. On the morning I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was initially told by (name respectfully withheld) that my reservation was not available and I would have to come back later. Upon voicing my disappointment rather loudly, I was assisted by another clerk and a vehicle was suddenly "made available". This kind of service is disgusting and I will never use this U-Haul location ever again.Andrew N.

The people working at this Uhaul location are great, power went out just as I was checking out and they quickly switched to their phones and completed the transaction, guys in the yard were awesome. Only compliant is you need to fix the app so I can do all of this online. Maybe just flash my ID to the guy in the yard as I go. Otherwise excellent.David B.

During after hour delivery. That area for return was chaotic and hard to find room to park car. As well as quit a few people cluttered together all confused on how to return equipment. I'd like to point out that the truck I received was not refuelled and I got a low fuel level warning as soon as I drove out of UHaul lot. Very inconvenient as I had to re fuel before I could get to my day's errands. I had to re fuel again at the end of the rental period.KIANOOSH L.

This Uhaul experience is the most unexpected in a negative way. Firstly, the Uhaul Manager requests me to pay a $710.11 towing fee that I never order, and I never observe the towing service. It was extortion. The towing fee bill the not bill to Uhaul or a bill to myself. It was billed to a non-related third party, except has the truck that I rented's information. Many people rent that truck from time to time. I never request a towing service or observe a towing service. A towing service during the rental period also covered under the insurance contract as well. Uhaul has its own towing service under the contract if towing required. The Uhaul store manager said he paid the towing fee to a third party, so he needed to be charged to my account. It is unreasonable. I suggest the manager. I am afraid a third party was playing the game behind the scene for the sole purpose of financial gain. The RCMP and related organizations needs to investigate this type of Economic crime that takes advantage of the business and innocent people for the sole purpose of organized crime's financial gain.Emily Y. | Overall Experience
I had an emergency to leave where I lived..I had looked for 4 hours for a rental van. I came upon Uhaul main st. They were so helpful and supportive. Immediately, I had a rental van and a locker. I moved out because there was mouse poop all over my unit and stuff with absolutely no food or traces of food anywhere in my unit. It didn't get into any of my stuff after inspection, but poop was everywhere. I spoke with the manager and he didn't really have anything to say about it, very much a "what do you want me to do about it" mentality. I asked for help cleaning it up as I didn't have proper cleaning supplies and mouse poop is really dangerous for women to clean without proper protection, and the person he sent just wiped it off with a rag onto other stuff in my unit. One blanket needed to be thrown out because it was coated too much for me to feel comfortable to get it home to wash it. One lady, who was wonderful, apologized several times for it, but the manager didn't seem bothered. I moved my stuff out the next day because I had some very expensive books, furniture and linens that I cannot risk vermin ruining. The manager telling me that he'll clean the floors with peppermint oil more frequently to keep them away wasn't comforting and clearly not working.Stephanie B. | Overall Experience

I had a storage space at this location for about five years. In that time my monthly rent rose by more than 20%, which seems rather steep. My biggest issue is getting access onsite with a vehicle. Beings as it is a truck rental location the lot is very congested and it became highly inconvenient to gain access to the storage entry. The people onsite are very friendly but the experience became too much of a hassle to take things in and out, which I have to do from time to time. Just my experience.DAN D. | Overall Experience
