Customer Service at this location has always been great (rented several trucks now, and have a storage unit there.) In fact, today I ordered a 10' truck, not realizing it didn't have a ramp until I was a couple miles away. I planned to return it and pay for the mileage I had it, but they didn't charge for that 30 minutes I had the truck, but reversed the 1st charge and got me a bigger truck a few hours later. Even the young man who check my truck back in had a great attitude. This is now my go to rental location.Dennis F.

For a trip that was all of 20-25 miles, U-Haul calculated it to be 38 miles. Will never use U-Haul again. Rip off based on the fact that you make your money off of the mileage.Michelle G.

Everyone was helpful specially the workers setting the trailer on my Jeep in the RainRENE M.
Used a 20 ft truck. Truck drove well. It was what I expected since many people use them weekly, monthly and annually with a lot of scratches and dings. Didn't have any problems at the front desk. Their updated process was a lot quicker and better than last time I rented one (about five years ago). Just remember renting anything is a long process. So it still takes some patience, kindness and a smile to get through. The process of the customer having to check the truck thoroughly for any new damage (with no X) I found oddâ€¦easy but odd. But maybe it's due to dishonest people therefore, everyone has to check. I also found odd that the insurance doesn't cover any damage â€œaboveâ€ the orange lineâ€¦just below the roof of trailer part. Why wouldn't it cover anything? What if something falls out of the sky, or from above a freeway, or a tree falls on it, etc.? Anyways, the return process was easier also. Return equipment staff checked truck back in electronically. Didn't have to go stand in line again which was great. Overallâ€¦it was a good experience.Cynthia Z.

This has been a terrible experience I was supposed to get a 26 ft truck and on my moving day it wasn't available. I was sent to another location further away and waited for over an hour to find out they didn't have my truck anymore, your servers were down and I had to wait for a call back and rent 2 15ft trucks which cost me more money on rentals and gas. Plus I still have to rent one other truck for my long distance move. In total 3 15 foot trucks instead of 1 26 foot one. The people weren't helpful at all getting the 15ft trucks the people were kind and it wasn't their fault but customer service didn't try to make things right. I felt I shouldn't have to pay for these extra rentals when you failed twice to secure my rental. Early fisappointed the only thing that was offered was a 50 credit when I spent over $400 in excess of what I would have had I received my 26 foot truck from the beginning. Plus I will spend over another $500 with the third truck I have to rent when I'm able to travel back to CA to get the rest of my belongings.Michael A.

Send customers to ONE location that has all the equipment they need. I had to go to Spruce Street to get the 26' truck then all the way to Sunnymead (IN THE POURING RAIN) to get the car dolly. Sunnymead had both trucks and dollys!!Kate M.

The gas that was claimed to be there was not! When we gassed up the first time, it was short of what was claimed to be. We did not know to take a picture of the gas meter, now we're charged $40.00 claiming we didn't return with enough gas. $40.00 was bad enough, but when we were told we can pick up our truck in Hemet, we were pleased! Being Moreno Valley is an hour away at 7:30 am traffic and since Hemet is where we live and never thought U-Haul would do that to us! The young lady Jennifer or jessica? In The Hemet U-Haul on State St Told us to come at 8:40, because she was expecting our 26' Truck at 8:30 and needed to be cleaned first! so we did! When we showed up to get our truck, we were told she was wrong about that, therefore we lost our workers we hired via U-Haul due to time change! Now we have to go to Moreno Valley!!! Then the gentlemen at the Hemet office was apologetic that no one called us to tell us it indeed wasn't returned there in Hemet and was in Moreno Valley. We lost our help! Moreno Valley secured us a new crew but charged us more than $200.00 than the original crew charged. I was very upset about the mistake! I sold my house and had to be out that day, so the difference of the new fees of the new crew should be refunded to us. We were left in a lurch and had to okay the higher worker fees! We were at the Mercy of accepting the higher charges. I have never been so disappointed with U-Haul, but I'm disgusted now! Please refund our Workers higher charges, that U-Haul caused to happen! Not charge per miles There's another location about 6 miles away that does not charge per mile I don't know if it's a franchise thing or if that is something they do on moving Van's but if I have to use a van again I am going to go to the other location so I don't have to pay per mile but overall it was a good experienceRene J.

The store manager was extremely RUDE and asked for additional documentation that the previous Uhaul places I rented from two weeks prior did not ask for. When I called her on it, she became extremely rude and disrespectful. I will not rent from there ever again and I will NOT recommend to anyone. It is sad that because this location is in a predominantly African American and Hispanic community that the requirements to rent a UHAUL are increased and that is UNACCEPTABLE!!!Tonya G.

This facility is a very nice and well maintained one. At first we had a 10 by 10 reserved and that wasn't available. We had to pay a bit extra for a 10 by 15, which wasn't ideal, but was still a good unit. I would recommend uhaul for storage simply on the basis of security.Phillip K. | Overall Experience
