The truck was old and did not want to shift into overdrive. This cost me extra fuel. The box of the truck was covered in spilt oil likely from a propane grill. I spent over $100 to throw rugs in the box to cover the floor and plastic to cover the carpets in the house to keep this trash from being tracked around. I had the people moving stuff in and out of the truck slipping on the ramp. Thankfully no one was hurt.KEVIN W.

I was very upset about the fact that I booked a 20' truck two weeks in advance but when I got there, there was only a 15' available. My items would not fit as I suspected so I then had to rent a secondary truck. I was moving to a different state so coming back for a second load was not an option. Then in the 15' truck that I was driving, the heat that was coming from the engine in the bull area between the seats by my legs was SO HOT that I had to keep pulling over to give my leg a chance to cool down because it was actually burning me! When I returned the truck, I told the guys what happened with the heat and they informed me that whoever worked on the engine last didn't close the cap properly so that is why it was so hot. For 7 hours I had to deal with direct heat from the engine searing my leg ðŸ˜¡ My leg was bright red for two days! My friend who is a registered nurse said that I had first degree burns. The guys at the drop off location said they would notated my account about it and also note how the cap over the engine was not properly closed. I never heard a single thing back about it....Tammy L.

The only thing is that the gas meter when I returned it showed a little less than full thank and I didn't see the need to fill it. When I returned it I got charged 12 dollars. The contract said 3 dollars and some change per gallon. So it was kind of confusing for me so I don't thing if I don't have to return I wouldn't do itROCIO C.

I have greatly mixed reviews. Truck trivers and guys and gal that delivered and picked up were nice and helpful. Your office leaves a lot to be desired. I had to store my things much longer than expected and was given no help as far as money spent to you. Very often person on phone was clueless and or rude. Getting my things out of storage was an absolute nightmare and cost way more than pick up No consideration was given to reduce costs for scary storage. Delivery charge way out of line and should be reimbursed. Should cost the same as drop off price not more. No customer service by office and manager. One guy said my credit card didn't exist. Argumentative instead of helpful. Have a lot to learn aboit customer service and how to treat customers.JoAnn G.

Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience. As of today we do not have our things that should have been shipped to the destination back inn September. The most recent conversation we had with a local representative was one of the most unacceptable forms of " customer service". Every time it appeared the issues were "handled" we would be directed to someone else who showed us even more errors. I want to type all of the details of our terrible experience, but I will wait to update once we have our container that we were very rudely. told we would to receive our box until we paid them even more money than we should be paying. The truck was water-resistant but it leaked heavily onto the boxes and caused significant water damage, there were also ashes left in the ashtray and crumpled papers left between the seats. The workers inside were really nice and friendly, but no one was wearing masks and we were also encouraged to not wear masks. We did have a problem with the reservation that was ended up being resolved well, everyone was helpful and the move really wasn't that bad, but it was a little more stressful than expected on an already stressful day.MEAGAN D.

If i were working there at uhaul i would protect my customers and coworkers by no mask no service as this is state law. I have a couple of issues. I thought the online process was was smooth and easy until the alarm on my unit went off every time I opened it. I asked some employees about it and they told me the access code I was given via email doesn't do anything I needed an access card, to which they gave me. Now that I had my access card ( which wasn't mentioned as part of the online purchase process) I assumed my alarm issues would be solved. Wrong again. The alarm still goes off every time I open my unit. Then I come to find out that my unit has a wiring problem and is crossed up with another unit. So when I check into my unit I am deactivating the alarm for another unit, and some other unit deactivates my alarm. This is very annoying and discomforting. It defeats the purpose of the alarm in the first place. I was also informed that the issue "should be resolved in a few months". If I hadn't already filled most of the unit I probably would have canceled due to this issue. On a side note, the employees were very helpful and friendly.Steven F. | Online Move In
