Anthony M.Received rusted clunky truck with 30 miles left before empty tank of gas. Got charged for 2 gallons of gas even though I returned it > 1/4 tank. Impossible to tell 5/16 on the gauge as it was tiny and hard to read. What a joke.

I thought it was amazing that he noticed I was a little lost and he showed me where the entrance was. Once I got inside the gentle man inside was very patient explained everything to me professionally. He was quick and efficient When returning, the treatment was just the same if not even better. I was very pleased with the customer service and the vehicle I used. I regret I cannot remember all of the gentlemen's names that served me. But it was the guys that worked Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the Erie Blvd location in Syacuse New York on April 10th and 11th. Thanks Guys

Wayne H.I tried using the Return Truck feature on your website and on your app and it didn't work. After a long 9 hour drive, I just wanted to quickly return the truck, virtually. I could enter the mileage, gas and take a picture put after I hit continue it said my session had expired. It was very frustrating. I tried multiple times then called the 1-800 number. I was on hold for a long time and finally gave up and left. I had to come back the next day to return the key. Not the best experience.

Christopher P.I am a frequent renter and have never had any problems with my contracts - when I went in to pick up the rental the workers were talking amongst themselves and I had to wait to be helped. and now my receipt is showing a cdw charge of $20 If they were more conscientious about their jobs. I probably would not have had this issue. Horrible customer service and deceitful practices because if this is for the rental coverage I even provided a copy of my insurance to waive the additional coverage as I always do.

Kimmie S.We were called the night before to confirm our reservation and were informed they didn't have the size truck we ordered. The representative upgraded us to the next size UP truck at no extra charge. Thank goodness she did because THAT one ended up being fully packed. The truck was clean and easily caused at 70 mph, fully loaded. This is our 4th time renting vehicles from U-haul and will continue to use them for our moving needs.

Patrick V.Where to start…when I picked up the person helping me was making a personal call, which they remained on the whole time. The van stunk of cigarettes and a previous renters mask was left behind for me. Finally when I got my final receipt it was less then what I paid when I picked up. Instead of getting a refund on the difference, I was charged the difference. Not sure how that works but seems like theft.

When it was finally fixed, the workers neglected to tell us it was fixed, the workers also neglected to tell other customers that we have been waiting all day long for the elevator to be fixed. If the workers weren't so rude and disrespectful I would've given a better review. HIRE better UHAUL.

Philemon E. | First ImpressionsI would like to say that the employees of this location were very nice and really helpful. As for the trucks and my experience I couldn't say the same. The first 10ft truck they had given me had a flat tire (visible gash in the tire) and I'm glad I caught it before leaving. The employees were very helpful for they didn't even know it was like that, they grabbed me a second truck no problem. However, both the driver side and passenger side doors didn't close all the way on the second truck. The driver side door was missing a seal to the door and even slamming the door shut, there was a gap. The truck itself seemed very unmaintained, for even the slightest incline it would struggle to climb. Even going downhill was a struggle because the truck wouldn't shift properly and had jerked a few times before finding the next gear. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location to family or friends (because of the quality of the trucks) but I can say the service by the employees was amazing and they did everything in a timely matter.

Jeff E.Have the store check the truck before the customer leaves so if there's any issues the customer has the opportunity to resolve it instead of being charged without being confronted and also the trucks at this location are disgustingly dirty I rent from this location a few times each time the truck was worse and I always top off my gas more than what should be in there and I also bring it back cleaner than when I received it on the inside and leave disinfectant and wipes inside for the next customer this location seriously needs to be looked at but I will continue to rent from U-Haul just at a different location and maybe remind the employees the customers deserve a little bit more respect than what they get

Jeffery G.The vehicle that I was given was not up to par the tires had no tread meaning the tires were bold making it extremely dangerous to drive while on the road a few times I almost crashed into other vehicles on the road because while trying to stop I was sliding I don't understand why they gave me the vehicle in the first place due to the tires it's like the vehicles are not being maintained at all this is not the only issue I have had with U-Haul vehicles but this this time it drew the line for me being a recurring customer

Havilah S. | Overall ExperienceI like this storage facility. It's such a creative old building turned into storage. My unit was clean. I didn't have any problems with my unit. My biggest frustration was the building only had one freight elevator. My unit was on the 6th floor. If someone was moving in/out, you literally had to wait for them to unload/load a whole moving truck before you could use the elevator. I guess if you have small items, you could use the stairs and not wait for the elevator but with my unit being on the 6th floor, that was not about about happen. This building isn't extremely busy so if you don't have time restraints, then only having 1 freight elevator isn't that big of a deal. I rented the unit just under 4 weeks because I had to stay in a hotel while waiting for my apartment to get ready. On 2 occasions I had to come back to access my unit because someone was moving in/out. Overall I liked the storage facility and would recommend.

James V. | Overall ExperienceIt took a long time to process the reservation. I had one that got cancelled because I showed up a day later than my start date. Then I was placed in a unit that requires the portable staircase, which is not what I wanted. However, since it took over an hour to get to the unit because of the short staffed office I was not about to re-do the reservation.

New guy put MY storage unit under my moms name when my mom was only supposed to be 1/3 contact person they require for unit. My mom was emailed my bill information and sent letters and I didn't get anything when it's my unit. Until, I called and complained that they had it messed up. Also, they never pick up the phone or give you a call back when call center sends them a message to do so.
