Facility was clean and secure. Staff was knowledgeable but at times hard to locate if there was a question. Every time a call was made to talk to staff, call was "rolled over" to call center.

We chose this particular storage facility because we saw that it had a loading dock in the back and that our unit would be close to it. When we pulled up to the loading dock, we saw some traffic cones on their sides and caution tape strewn around haphazardly, but we ignored it because--again--the loading dock was the only reason we chose this facility. While unloading, Evan Goode walked up to us and asked us to move our U-haul truck. We asked him why, and he told us that there would be construction done in that area very soon and the workers would need to get in the area. When I asked him when the workers were expected to arrive, he said "sometime this week." I could not believe it. When we asked if there was anything he could do, or if he could instead give us a call when the workers arrive, he began to debate us about the proper treatment of traffic cones, saying "what do you do when you see traffic cones on the street?" We asked him if we could finish up our load before leaving and he said that he couldn't wait around all day--it seemed as if he wanted to get home and didn't want to help us. As the conversation went on, he threatened to tow our vehicle if we did not move. We were forced to move our vehicle to the front, which was VERY far from our unit. The worst part is that after we left, we looked around back and saw that the construction workers had not even arrived yet. My wife and I moved out whole house together without any help, after I had injured my knees, and Evan found a way to make our lives even harder. In the future, I would recommend that Evan understand that people who are in the process of moving are usually not having a good time; they are hot and sweaty and tired and do not need extra stress. I would absolutely not recommend this facility to anyone.

Rented 15' Truck. 110k miles on it. Drove 400+ miles. Constant wind whistle in truck cab while driving between 55-65 mph. Had to wear headphones to drown out noise. Brakes pulsated badly when applied and shimmy in steering wheel.

Trucks were not maintained. I had two trucks within a few days, both steering wheels seemed loose. I was afraid driving. I've used U-Haul over the years when I moved and they were never like that. The first I got was terrible to drive, and the second one the engine light came on and we had to return it. Neither truck should be on the road.

Uhual was great. It pays to get insurance. A county vehicle pulled out and damaged my uhual and the insurance covered it. Uhual staff was friendly and nice. Over all A+ service!

I never enjoy having to use Uhaul. Everything is overpriced and they find every reason to charge you vs any other store and the vehicles are the lowest quality you can find. We rented a truck from Home Depot not too long ago for a flat rate of $20. This was almost 4x that amount. And the vehicle didn't even have the same safety features the ones from Home Depot do.

Couple of things: I'm anal about tire pressure so I checked the pressure on the truck. It was right on the money, good job. I had ordered 12 furniture blankets ($20) but I only got 6 and got refunded $5 instead of $10. The hand-truck in the back of the truck takes up useful space, so I removed it. They wanted to charge me $7 for the use of the dolly but I argued that I didn't use it, I just needed the space, and they didn't charge me. Overall, the truck worked out well.

Every time I've been to a Uhaul there has always been checkout computer issues. With me and or the folks in front of me. Uhaul needs to overhaul their computer system to make checkout and checkin faster. I would say I wait an average of 30 minutes in line with only two customers in front of me.

Several issues making this an unpleasant experience: 1. The reservation process changed to 24/7 Self-Service without my consent 2. The 24/7 Self Service process wouldn't recognize my location nor driver's license. 3. I waited an hour past my scheduled pickup time to get my vehicle. 4. When the pickup process was complete, I was simply left to find my cargo van somewhere in the large parking lot. 5. The final estimated pricing at the time the van was picked up was different from the initial reservation pricing, even with the same time and mileage parameters. The staff seemed to have little understanding of how the pricing works. 6. As they made me wait an hour to complete the reservation, I asked that they adjust the pickup and return times accordingly, but they did not (or could not) do so. 7. The van was filthy inside, including crumbs and dirt all over the dash and doors, a tacky steering wheel, and the aftermath of a sneeze or some kind of liquid spray all over the interior of the windshield. (I would have refused and requested another van, but I was already well over an hour into my reservation period at that point, so it was quicker to clean the necessary bits myself.) The ONLY decent part of the experience was that the drop-off the next morning was quick and painless.

This does not pertain to the actual location, but to the UHaul app. The UHaul app was buggy and froze while trying to use it. Since UHaul penalizes customers $20 if they elect to return equipment after hours without using app, and the app does not work well, I will be looking elsewhere next time I need to rent.

I had a reservation for a 15 foot truck with ramp to move a 2800 square-foot house but when I showed up they didn't even have the truck and the only thing they were able to give me was a 10 foot box truck with no ramp. This caused us to need to make at least 3 to 4 more trips than we would have and we didn't have a ramp for loading her furniture which caused much more physical stress. In the end for all of our trouble and extra cost in mileage they credited me $20. That is beyond ridiculous and I am livid and will never return due to how this was handled.

I arrived on time to drop off the truck but the directions to check out were so poor it appeared that I was late. No clear indication of where the drop off key box was, having to take multiple pictures etc. The customer should not have to do the job of U-Haul employees. Very disappointed.

Dreaded having to go talk to any of the workers they did nothing but complain. If they were outside smoking a cigarette or a vape (right out front) and got "interrupted" by a customer they would rush through what ever needed to be done just so they could get back to hanging out outside. I would really recommend some training on being professional.

The building was completely unlocked and required no access code, the doors just opened as I walked up. There was no lock in my unit as I was told and paid for by my confirmation and the video I was sent. The unit seemed a lot smaller than 5X9X10.

Storing in this facility was excellent and absolutely no issues or concerns on the safety and security of my items while there. My only concern was the close out of the unit at the end and the lack of response form anyone when inquiring about the status of my close out and needing assistance. Upon reservation I gave all info however once arriving at facility I was asked again even after supplying my identification. I also corrected the spelling of my street, my email address and my phone number. After several hours passed I accessed my email receipt only to find those items were still incorrect. (The incorrect email address is still on my account) I drove back to the facility and told agent of the incorrect items and shortly thereafter my next email still was incorrect. What's going on?

Some staff were very helpful with my account that wouldn't allow me to go online and pay rent. The Manager Chelsea Holmann was disrespectful using foul language, calling me a liar when I went to her for help on more than 3 occasions to fix the IT problem keeping me from accessing my account. She told me to "make up addresses" and other information so she lacks honesty, certainly has NO INTEGRITY AT ALL. When calling to see the rent was paid since I lived out of town, I was hung up on, verbally abused and overall, he general staff was NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE at all as to how to do the job they were charged with doing, making it even more difficult. There were 2 young men who were always finding themselves apologizing for the problem with my account and doing a nice job. But unfortunately, they also felt the need to apologize for Chelsea's lack of management and nasty behavior. Overall, I will NEVER EVER recommend nor use U-Haul again and will do everything I can to discourage anyone I know from using the Miamisburg U-Haul so they don't have similar problems. As I stood for over an hour waiting to be helped because people were on smoke breaks, didn't know how to handle storage issues or whatever the excuses were that day. Chelsea hires many who have her same disposition; gravely flawed… but she works well with those people. Unfortunate that customers suffer!

They define need experienced staff. The manager had to keep helping the new workers. I was interrupted several times. Hopefully the staff ( mostly the ones at check in snd check out) won't depend on the manager to do everyone's job. I also called uhaul to get a truck last month and when I got there they said they had no tricks that went one way. No one offered me any other option but to pay my storage unit for me to pay another month. I drove two hours got off work for the whole move and then I got a call from customer service rep who just lectured me in stead of giving any apology for the staffs rudeness and unwillingness to help . The uhaul units are nice the areas are clean but the customer service is terrible. The manager Jeremy was helpful

Brett was the nicest guy ever, he saved the day for uhaul. 2 guys in front of me walked out because of the manager and her mom, (Stephanie) I have never been talked to so rudely. The manager was so mean, I couldn't believe how they were representing your company, it was aweful . Brett and customer service brought me back to uhaul. Although I would recommend anyone to go to that location, I would recommend a different one. I really would like to talk to someone about this. The manager and her mother will ruin that location. Everyone in there couldn't believe how rude they are. 614 833 1259 also my move in date was the 29th not the 19th as they have on record

The only complaint I have is the sometimes long line and wait time at location on springboro pike, inside the store. Update the computers for those poor employees! Maybe have 3 people , one person extra thats p/t to help with line. Website also does not always work to check in, by pass line too. One person knows everything there and most of the others not so much and always has to stop and help that person on the pc. Give them better training on the system so they can be just as efficient. Just my 2 cents.

The line gets a little long and it takes a long time to get up to the counter, but the miamisburg staff makes up for the wait by being so helpful and nice. We watched one young man go above and beyond his normal duties to help customers twice before it was our turn, then he went above and beyond for us as well. Thank you! The kids name was David Napier I believe.
