Todd RNot the next customer, how about this customer meaning me! This is the second time. I got fucked on money. The first was about mileage and I showed them how much I drove and the amount of time I used the truck. For about an hour there is no way I drove over 50 miles in that amount of time. And was charged over $60.00 extra. And that time they took my money out before I brought the truck back. And I still did get paid bad yet. This time they own me over $15.00.
JOSEPH CTruck was very dirty inside the cab, very little gas, lucky we made it to a gas station. Truck ran well and was the ideal size. Dolly was in great working order.
ROBERT LNo issues with the location or the truck. The mobile pickup and return process is long and the app is not very easy to use.

RAMON PI elected for pickup in store option, so I would not have to use the app to pickup Van. When I arrived on time to pick up Van, I was told I have to do self checkout with my phone on the app. The app was very unresponsive and the pickup time took almost a half hour. The app stopped the check in process half way through & I had to call and finish check in. When I dropped off Van during business hours, the office was open and the employee checked the Van in for me which was a great help!
Curtis MYour employee ZACHERY CAUSED ME AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF GRIEF, ANXIETY, PTSD SYMPTOMS, TIME, MONEY, GASOLINE,, CONFUSION, WEAR AND TEAR ON MY VEHICLE, MY BANK ACCOUNT TO BE OVERDRAWN AND IF I HAD NOT BROUGHT IT TO THE LOCATIONS ATTENTION IF NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED. THE EMPLOYEE IN QUESTION WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING THE TRAILER FROM MY VEHICLE AND CLOSING OUT THE RENTAL WHICH WAS RETURNED EARLY. THE INVENTORY WAS NEVER CHECKED AND THE SAME EMPLOYEE WENT INTO MY A COUNT AND MADE ADJUSTMENTS MULTIPLE TIMES I WANT A LETTER OF APOLOGY FROM THE UHAUL CEO, ON DOWN INCLUDING AND WRITEN AND SIGNED APOLOGY FROM ALL EMPLOYEES FROM THE HARBOR CITY, MELBOURNE LOCATION. THIS IS THE 3rd INSTANCE OF MY BILL BEING INCORRECTLY CHANGED OVER BILLED AND ME YOUR CUSTOMER HAVING TO BRING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION. How many other customers are being negative affected like this? I EXPECT MONETARY COMPENSATION. NO. UHAUL CREDIT IS EXPECTABLE. You should all be embarrassed that this a continual thing! Sincerely Thomas E Gibson

JON SThe most efficient drop off we've ever had with Uhaul! We had an enclosed trailer...we drove up, stayed in our vehicle, employees came out, and took the trailer off the hitch, told us all was complete and we could go. He was helpful in directions as we didn't know the area. Would definitely say this was a great experience!
VICKI BWhen I went to pick up the truck the app tried making me schedule another truck. There was no recognition of the precheck-in I had done the day before so it made me redo a check-in but then the app just routed me to scheduling an entirely new truck. No separation kn the app to distinguish that I had already scheduled one and was just there trying to tap the pick up my truck tab as directions stated to do. Thankfully an assistant inside checked me in and got everything going for me.

JOHN PWell there's a couple of things I had concerns with overall . First of all ,the vehicle had a tire sensor on the whole time on the dashboard which was explained to me by your agent the only way to get fixed is when the vehicles are serviced. but no different than seeing a check engine light or anything else on that would be of concern.The other thing is the mileage charge for IN town usage. As I wasn't explained about the 50 mile limitations NOR COULD HE FIND IT IN MY PAPERWORK, BUT Cameron the agent, did ADJUST it for me .However the calculations on the overall bill shows $0.99 cents per mile for the full amount ,which was 66 mi driven. that's totally fraudulent, And as if he said I'm allowed 50 miles, the charge should only be based ON the differential of 16 mi x$0. 99 cents! that's not how the invoice reflects the price. As I explained to him I don't see how a $19.95 a day truck turns out to be $150/ 3 days... Not a favorable business model. Staff was completely fine. Everyone did what they could to make my experience enjoyable. but I definitely will make other arrangements next time when needing a moving vehicle...

Tracy RThe 6x12 trailer we rented had a failure with the lights. The right rear turn signal and brake light were not working. My wife who was following me let me know that the lights were not so we went back to the UHaul to have repaired before the road trip and they could not make the repair. They didn't have the spare parts. They even mentioned that it was improperly wired. Had to drive 400 plus highway miles at night and it was scary. I think UHaul should reimburse me a good portion of the rental fee for aggravation and stress. Think, to send someone down the highway with failed lighting. I wouldn't do it. I cannot recommend a UHaul rental to anyone. A service ticket was supposedly created on the unit before exiting the facility.

JAYNE HI called and asked for an appointment to install power for a hitch in my car. The guy on the phone said ~$115.00 installation. I completed the appointment, and the charge was $180.00 I had no choice but to pay. I would call this a Bait and Switch moment. I don't get it. NOT HAPPY.

Prem M | Online Move InThe contents were totally owned by someone else and I unfortunately got stuck with the rest of the bill. I opened it for him and for 2 years he faithfully paid Uhaul and then he fell I'll and had more medical bills and unfortunately couldn't keep up with the uhaul bill. I actually paid was was due fully and because I couldn't take any of the contents nor wanted them...Uhaul wouldn't just seek them. I had an argument with uhaul and uhaul didn't care about my concern at all They said they had a business to run and won't sale the contents it was my job to get rid of the content. They would ad more charges to me and keep billing me. I during the time my buddy was paying the bill..I have suffered through 3 strokes sold my truck and lost my job was left paying the bill. I told the uhaul they were being "WOKE" and stubborn and I knew they would sell the contents and they still said No. After a few months later ..guess what. They did sell the contents. Although they have refused to admit it from the beginning..turns out they did finally after trying to stick to their gun and refused to admit it ... I doubt they will reprint this for the whole public to see how erroneous UHAUL really is. But with way I will never ever use their services ever again and won't ever sing praises about them ever again They have their policies and are afraid you all will know the truth. Chris B | First ImpressionsNot sure why it is necessary to check in at 2 different areas. I guess one checked you in and the other opened the door. It seems that could be reviewed. The price kept increasing a couple of times which caused us to get out quicker. I believe the pricing is higher than in other places. For what we needed - we wanted to move to a smaller area but the price was only $5 difference and it wasn't worth the time to move. I believe if we were able to move to a smaller space with a significant dollar change we would have done that and probably remained awhile longer. Other than that, everyone is courteous and helpful.

I did not accept the storage unit as she would not let is park at the door to unload a full 26' truck. Sure told new I have to park an 1/8 mile bedding the building Walk the distance to the front of building them all the way to the door to go they to load all the way to the Unity at the farthest end. One dolly at a time. She's crazy and rude and she was so rude and mean to other customers as well. The line was backed up for service. She set me back almost two hours. I want a reading immediately. I am considering removing my donation storage I have had for years in Park Bay location because this service was the worst at The Melbourne location. I will be going straight to corporate about this matter once I Ann finished doing this clean out today. An entire household was donated to my non profit. It was too much to distribute to the families in need of these items. So we needed to store it. She was absolutely the worst service I have ever had in all my 58 years. I have been doing business with Uhaul a very very long time.

We did not feel welcomed or, accommodated in any capacity. The gentlemen on staff during 9/8 and 9/9 just seem to be very unhappy individuals who are on a power trip or, dislike their job? They ignored us when we walked in. My husband walked to the counter for assistance and was snapped at by the gentlemen behind the counter. Then, was answered with one word answers to his questions. They gave us very little instruction and this was our first time at this facility. We have had storage units in the past but we wanted to be sure we were clear on instructions. Overall, we are happy to have a storage unit and we need one. But at this point, we are only using this facility because it is convenient.

The storage room was one above and not convenient for older ladies and was already increased in price after just a few months. The facility was all of the above and we would definitely recommend the facility to anyone we know needing their service.

I had to make three efforts to get the situation cleared and it was not possible to do online. I had to come in ,stand in line and work with a human to get it cleared.

Hire more people to shorten wait time, increase service and fulfill promises with integrity. William P | Overall ExperienceMy unit got broken into twice and I lost all my belongings and seems like it was not cared about and when I went in last to talk to somebody before auction I was told to pay the balance and the only person they could talk to was my 16 yr old daughter who I listed as an emergency contact which she has no legal obligation to my contract and I asked if I could see what items where left due to the second break-in bc I was told it was pretty much empty as the first theft by a friend who rents a unit across from mine and was told I could talk to Tony the next day but he wouldn't want to talk to me bc there had been issues with him and myself I'n the past. I stopped your employee and informed him me and Tony have never spoke not got into it with one another and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I'm really upset about losing all my belongings due to theft and your employees seemed to not even be concerned and I lost everything and now I'm being way over charged . I don't think this is fair nor your business not provide a person with assistance in following up on 2 break INS so I will be contacting uhaul and making a complaint and reporting the actions being conducted as something seems odd and possibly being withheld information on what and who was responsible for the crime that was committed and how I was unheard and unit auctioned for 10 dollars and owing almost 600 and my everything stolen when I was told my belongings would be safe when I chose your facility.
