chris M.It would be great if you Installed a bike rack for bike parking. I biked there to pick up the van and there was no where to lock my bike up. Staff was very courteous and friendly. The steering wheel felt very sticky when I got in. Might be a good idea to sanitize the steering wheel between customers or provide wipes. ¡Gracias!

juan e. | First ImpressionsBoth of my weekly invoices stated a price. Neither one were accurate. That first one said amount paid and omitted a payment of over $40. I tried to ask Monica, the General Manager, abd she said there was another customer behind me and I was holding up the line!!! I am in my 70's and disabled. How rude!! I am not allowed to question my charges? And I was correct. Her numbers were wrong. Then she gives me a piece of paper which I think is my receipt for the bew week...and it is still the old receipt from the week before. I finally turned the van in on Saturday the 17th and a nice young girl checked me out. The total on the bill matched my bank account BUT there was another pending charge of over $60 also pending. What the heck???? I am waiting until Monday to call on this in case the over $60 goes away. But you still owe me around $41.38 from the first week. I will call on Monday the 19th.
Karen J.We had the most horrible experience. They couldn't locate our order when we went to store. They also told us that there will be furniture pads which we made reservation and paid for. On the day we showed up, uhaul did not have any furniture pads and forced us to buy more expensive new ones. We also put more gas than half and paid for it but didnt receive anything back. I would kindly request a refund before I engage in a dispute. ¡Gracias!

marie B.The location I got my vehicle from had great customer service but, the location I originally booked for in Leominster MA did not. They called me the day before my move day/reservation day to tell me they didnt have a truck for me when I booked in advanced and they confirmed my reservation only to tell me they found a smaller truck at a different location that would require me to do a rohnd trip. The end result was me being charged a lot more money for the mileage overall due to incompetence. I would have used a different moving service if I knew this would be the case.

Robert H.I've been renting from this location for a few years now, consistently on every first and third Thursday of the month. I think I've practically driven almost every cargo van that they have at this point; some newer than others. My biggest complaint about the Uhaul experience and not this particular location is the Uhaul app and the mobile website for reporting/confirming damages/cleanliness to the rental upon receiving the keys. When we're texted a link to confirm that mileage is accurate, cleanliness and to report any damages the mobile site says to view in landscape mode but when you view in landscape mode the site does nothing!!!!! You cannot push any buttons or proceed to the next page to upload any photos or complete the process. This has been happening for a few years now and every time I mention it to the Uhaul agent/person who gave me the keys they always say.... "yeah, the Uhaul sites aren't always great!" This doesn't help the customer renting because if there are damages to report and they're not already documented prior then the renter is accused of damaging. Luckily, I take my own photos and videos on my iPhone that state the date, time and location said photos and videos are taken to make sure I am in the clear before driving it off the lot. I even took a screen recording of the entire process of the Uhaul site and what it does when we receive the texts to when we get to the site on the phone and to where it gets stuck.

Conrad H.On Saturday 30th, July 2022, The person when i picked up the truck was great. The person when I dropped the truck was made with me because i was late for 1hour cause the traffic. I rent the truck for 4 hours. I did not pick up the truck for free. The traffic. She charge me for late fee and then she made with me. I said I'm sorry for the late, and she say don't be sorry.

When I walked in the 1st guy behind the counter wouldn't even look up from his phone to recognize I was there for a solid few minutes his text was more important than me, then continued to be on his phone through setting up my account. I called after I left to verify that I could not go on storrow but could go through Callahan tunnel and that's when the 2nd employee was so rude asking me why I was calling if I knew the truck was 9ft. Extremely rude when I just wanted to confirm so I wouldn't get in trouble. Both men need some customer service work. Unpleasant experience.

The manager, Nicole, was very friendly and helpful, and the communication/coordination aspect was great. On the policy front, I would recommend a better solution for allowing access to the unit when the customer cannot be there to open it (for instance, a form where they can grant permission to U-Haul to break their lock). Under the current policy I had to hire a locksmith to allow access into my unit.

Lisa P. | First ImpressionsConvenient place for storage but I had some issues: 1) my storage unit was on the top floor and had no roof over the unit itself so parts of the building's roof fell all over my things, 2) there isn't enough customer parking so I often had to park in the wrong spots and staff would yell at me to move my car but never suggested where. Otherwise, staff was friendly when I signed and canceled my lease and the units with roofs seemed fine.

On hold over52 minutes... no cell reception sales areas to puck up equipment. Great for cities but not rural spots. Maine president called me back immediately and solved those issues. But having issues trying to get in touch for another reason now. Ugh!! I shouldn't have to bug the man again for this!

LUIS C. | First ImpressionsThe Uhaul staff at Malden were excellent, problem-solving, and helpful. However, the Uhaul system they are working with is broken. When I showed up after a long day of moving out of my apartment (with a Uhaul truck, with moving help hired through Uhaul) having reserved a storage area online many weeks earlier, the unit was not available. While the staff ultimately found a solution (giving me 3 smaller units and a discount), this led to stress, hours of extra time, and hours of expense on my part paying the moving help contractor. If a unit is not available, the system should not offer it. This is 2021. Thanks again to the staff, and I hope management gives them a better service to work with.

And I hate ti say it but that doesnt happen alwasy at uhaul locations. My only feedback is that I had a top unit. Top unit's dont have an actually ceiling but more like a cage. Sadly when I cleared my unit all my belongings were covered in dust. That was disappointing

The elevator was out of service 2 out of 5 times I went there, and unfortunately it was when I needed to move heavy items. There is no parking lot for customers cars. You either need to park in the bank across the street or on the sideline and if you have to carry boxes then keep in mind you will have to do several trips back and forth. Apart from these 2 things, everything else is excellent. Nicole is very helpful. There are units for every need. Everything is clean and well maintained. Will definitely recommend it
