I rented a Uhaul Friday. The older gentleman that helped me was kind. The credit card machine was down and he had to enter my credit card manually. I didn't think anything of it at the time. I returned the truck in a different state the following day. Today I go to use my card and it is declined. Well the gentleman charged my card twice and since it is Sunday none of the departments that can help are open. This is a nightmare and the worst experience. This is the second not so good experience with Uhaul in a matter of months. Not going to be a third, very disappointed.Donny H.

Although there was somebody there to check me in, I was asked to back the trailer into a spot between two other trailers. I also had to unhook the trailer myself. I would think with somebody there that they would do that for me.jim F.

Horrible experience!! I was the 2nd person in line and it took over an hour to pick up a trailer that was reserved online. Ended up hooking it up myself because the associate told me to back up to the trailer and then got distracted and helped someone who was farther back in line. I ended up hooking up the trailer myself. When I returned it, the employee only took a picture and I had to unhitch it myself! I was told I would be getting a discount for the inconvenience, but that did not happen. Despite the larger inventory and longer hours, I would NOT recommend this location!!! If you do, be prepared to spend (waste) at least an extra hour to pick it up. BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!Lori H.
Was a bit thrown off that you get charged $0.69/mile driven. That's very expensive when you ALSO require them to fill the tank back up after driving 8.8 mpg... Typically a you either charge the mileage or leave it to the customer to refill. Sometimes even both, but $0.69/mile is excessive to charge both. I've always gone Uhaul but it didn't used to have all these charges, or at least have them at excessive rates. Used to be a loyal customer but after this I would suggest you shop around first.matt C.

wanted to rent a smaller trailer than I reserved and was told it would have been to much trouble to change it, and we would be sent some where else instead of this location, but would not even check to see if this was possible. seemed to not know how to operate the computer. it really should not be that difficult to see if he had a smaller one way trailer to rent. When I arrived, after waiting for the rental employee to finish what spunded like a person phone call, i was told the trailer i was supposed to pick up had been stolen. I was sent to a different location and was able to get an equivalent trailer but my project was delayed by almost an hour. Then when returning the trailer the rental empoyee wasnt at the desk and was yelling from the back but couldnt be understood. After waiting for a while i walked back and he was working on a radio and said he would be out shortly. Finally after waiting a while longer he came out and said he would meet me by the trailer. After waiting again he walked to a different area of the parking lot to help someone else. Eventually I walked over and asked what he needed to complete my rental. He said he need the trailer number so i walked back and got the number. I returned to where he was and waited agin to provide the number. He didnt end up evening needing the number and completed the rental on a mobile device. I'm frustraighted with the amount of my time wasted. The trailer itself worked great but it would have been a much better experience with more profeshional rental employees.Adam V.

I was not impressed when I returned the vehicle and the evening staff was more concerned about eating their McDonald's at the desk over checking the correct gas and mileage. Thankfully, I photographed the odometer and had them enter the information before I left because I had to correct them several times considering they were entering only 3/4ths a tank of gas when I made sure I had it passed the full line as I had received the vehicle. The truck was filthy. I get it, vinyl floors are constantly dirty, but a little degreaser goes a long way (after having 10 years automotive detailing experience, I can tell you, a quick wipe down takes no more than 5 minutes), and not to mention the cough drop wrappers and the SMELL. At first, the laziness was appalling, but then I understood after seeing the staff changeover. Definitely made me less than thrilled to do business with uhaul.joseph P.

The U-haul Rep at this location was on drugs, drinking or combo of. The person could not keep their eyes open, nor stay on task. The U-Haul Rep could not even tell me where / which was the truck I rented. It took over an hour of dealing with U-Haul's rep and searching the lot for the vehicle matching the paperwork I was given. U-Haul's automated customer service system sucks! And for the love of God, please hire & and pay a living wage with full benefits to all your employees...STOP the revolving door of unqualified, drunks, and drug addicts that currently infest and represent U-Haul! From this point forward I will not do business with U-Haul until they can afford to pay for qualified help! Good Luck!!!!!!!!! My first drop off went smoothly. The 6x12 was fine and quick. The employee directed me where to go and unhooked me in less than 5 minutes. When I arrived to unhook my 5x8 rental (AV 2955N). The employee directed me where to go then just disappeared. After 10 minutes of waiting I walked into the lobby of the store and waited another 10 minutes. When the employee showed back up, he sat behind a computer while eating and told me I should go unhook my own trailer and give him the number when I am done. The second employee seemed entirely inconvenienced by my drop off and it took almost 3 times as long.Colin M.

The only comment is that your staff person on had a lot of business toward the end of the day. He was apparently sick with a respiratory condition and very fatigued. My wife and I are one of many family’s displaced by the potential building collapse in Waukesha, WI. Uhaul is providing a free months rent on a storage locker to any family being displaced. We found out we will more than likely be able to get our furnishings out, and I went to Uhaul to rent a locker from the Waukesha (Hwy 164) dealer and Tina could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. Her help was very much appreciated. We do not know when we will be able to retrieve our furniture and things, but I will definitely be trying to rent a truck from Uhaul as well. We ordered one large unit. We were given a mediam and small unit. This posed significant problems and we had to get yet another unit. Multiple times we attemoted to call, were on hold for 30 min plus and still no one took our call. My whole experience with this uhaul facility at Les Paul parkway in Waukesha was wonderful- from the very beginning to the very end. The staff were incredibly helpful , especially Nickolas Lederer who always kept patient and calm in the face of frustrated clients, including me. Nancy who is part of the cleaning staff was also very friendly and helpful and kept the facility well maintained and clean. I would use them again without hesitation and would most definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family. Can’t do much if the person working doesn’t know how to get you into the building under your 24hr access card. For that happening now I couldn’t unload my truck, couldn’t pack in more loads to unload within my time period. Had to put all moves on hold and was told come back tomorrow because someone else will be available to help me because he doesn’t now how to let me in!! So now I have to pay over another $100 to rent a truck when I could have gotten this all done within my time? Absolutely NOT!! Everything would have worked out great if I was able to unload and get in!!Angela S. | First Impressions

The storage facility was always over 80 degrees sometimes between 95-96 degrees even though it would only be in the 70s outside. The bathrooms were always out of paper and towels and the garbage was overflowing. When we asked about it they blamed it on not having any housekeeping staff. there is people living in their units and when you tell the staff they shrug it off. it says on the wall contact your manager if its over 80 which i notified them several times nothing being done and its 68 degrees in the office,. Im going to warn everyone what a horrible place this is, the floors are never swept, there was a sock in the hallway for 2 months its still there which proves the floors are never cleaned !!!! I rented 2 rooms acfross the street at public storage its much cleaner and a third of the cost.alfred b. | Overall Experience

The staff was amazing and very informative! I had utilized this facility once before in Waukesha when renting a trailer to move furniture and now utilized for storage. Mice present in my unit and damage to my belongings with droppings throughout my boxes. Didn't realize that there wouldn't be air conditioning in a climate controlled storage facility. Jose Lopez III was not a customer oriented individual....extremely rude when renting the storage unit and when I moved out. The truck we received wasnt cleaned when we got it also they charged us 46 miles were they didnt read the mileage before and I only went 5 miles . They kept saying that this truck shouldn't have gone out but they are the ones that gave it to me . Great experience for this first-time Uhaul user. We rented a 20’ truck and car transport in Arizona, drove for four days to Wisconsin. Very pleased with the beautiful and modern facility, the convenient location, and the smooth transition to locate our furniture at this Uhaul Storage. Tim and his crew at Uhaul were extremely helpful in getting us settled into our storage unit. Tim talked us through all our concerns. We are confident we are being taken care of at a secure, clean, accommodating facility. We also were able to use their recommendations for movers to unload the truck, which only took an hour. The truck garages were fantastic for unloading with the outside temperature being in the teens. Also very happy about accessing our indoor heated unit at my leisure using the heated garages. All around, we are extremely pleased with our Uhaul adventure. Won’t hesitate to do it again.Melodie N. | First Impressions
