I reserved a truck prior to pick, when i arrived I was told I would have to wait til the other customer brought the truck back, I reserved pick up for 1pm and the other customer was late, then they had to check truck in and clean it. All staff acted as if this was normal and I should not be upset. They offered me a larger truck for the same price but that I as not what I ordered wanted and I am a female and I did not feel comfortable driving that large truckDeborah Q.

Person that helped us was on her personal phone the whole time while helping us. She completed our order and got us in and out but I felt uncomfortable the whole time since I was giving out my phone number and other information to confirm my reservation. She also had somewhat of an attitude. It was definitely a personal call she was taking as she talked about the plans she was making later that night while she was helping us. This survey is tough because this particular location did quite well- that said, it was the third location I got sent to and my overall experience was very poor. The first location switched me ahead of time and fairly smoothly and professionally. The second location I was embarrassed for uHaul as I listened to the employee on speaker phone beg the previous renter to return the truck as agreed. Following that failure, the uHaul employee walked to the back so she couldn't be talked to as I waited for someone else from uHaul to call me. Overall experience was beyond poor, however the Pendleton Pike location was solid.Ryan W.

When you tell a customer that all equipment is at this location it better be there. I was suppose to pick up a 20ft and a dolly, but the one way dolly was the one that got stolen so I have to pay the $340 difference from a dolly to a auto transport. The same price should have been given as the original price quoted. It's not my problem that their toe dolly was stolen. Why should I have to pay for something I didn't ask for? I was also given 10% off on my reservation the first time on one contract all together. Now I lost my 10%, had to pay almost $400 more for something I didn't ask for because of negligence of uhaul. Also nobody should ever have to drive to different locations to pick up equipment and not be compensated for everything. Also when a reservation is made and you are where you are suppose to be the day before pick up and uhaul calls and says,â€ oh, your pickup location has changed and now you have to wait another day to pick up from now 2 different locations â€œ So I said then you can pay for my hotel room and food for another day and compensate the gas and mileage from running around picking up your shit when it should be together at one place. That's how bad things happen to good people. Which is exactly what happened. For some reason I always use uhaul and almost Every time have a problem.Jeff H.

I love it better at Uhaul When Owen and Molly were managing the storage facility! My only complaint is that after being with Uhaul for 8 years and faithfully paying my storage bill even when I got behind from loss of work...I still kept up paying for my unit! But having to pay to have lock that wasn't mine removed really was a major issue! My keys were stolen from my car so I was prepared to pay to have my lock removed...but to get to my unit and see that a combination lock had been placed on my unit...tells me that this was done by Uhaul and there should have been the combination code to open the lock? So I feel that I should be refunded back the $50.00 seeing that I was made to pay upfront in order to even get the maintenance guy to come remove the lock! Customer service is really important!!!! The non-chalant, short, oh well, glad it's not me, without a smile (what I perceived from body language) manager that represents U-Haul is mind blowing. There may have been many people that abused Covid as an excuse; however, that was not the case for my family and I. We really experienced "life happenings" and when we were impacted by Covid, because of what U-Haul did in 2020 we weren't eligible. I was very disappointed that I had to move an entire 10*10 unit out because I couldn't pay $125 at a later date. Your internet registration did not give actual information once we got to the storage site. The location we picked did not have that available, the clerk found my phone number but not reservation info and the price was $10 higher than internet.
