The process was very easy.Good friendly service. Price was reasonable.
Allen L.I originally tried renting a unit through your international office. Very frustrating. Your office was clueless (and rude) as to what and where units were available. Not getting the right help or information, I then ended up going to the physical location where fortunately Shane Pierce helped me. Shane really cares about his customers. I ended up needing 5 units for 8+ months. Thanks to Shane it was a stress free experience.

Dennis M.I reserved a 17 ft truck 6 days in advance and the morning before, I got a call saying they didn't have the 17 ft truck I reserved but had a 15 ft truck, I said ok I'll take the 15ft. Later in the evening before my reservation date again I got a call saying the 15 ft truck didn't have a working AC. No credit, no apology except from the nice young lady that had to call with the bad news. What's the point of making a reservation??

No dolly in truck. No key to lock back gate( lock was there but we were not given a key). We only had 1 key which went to the ignition.

The truck I rented was lower then the gas they wanted me to fill up, which is definitely a not okay, miles were off only by 1 but still! I also asked for 8pm return and they had the return 7pm which wasn't huge deal but obviously go back with these employees listening. I am very disappointed with the whole experience but I borrowed the truck because I needed it last minute. If I didn't, never would have even taken it. Had low tire light on and also another light. I told an employee, he was obviously not concern and had his phone stuck in his face which was obviously way more important!

The truck needed rotors bad and had an exhaust leak and also needed aligned as the steering wheel was not centered when driving straight. Also I needed an appliance dolly which the online description showed it was but it was a small dolly no straps. I felt misled for sure but it was too late to locate a utility dolly. The truck got the job done but was not what I expected by any means

larryn W.I used the mobile check in and drop off and it was an awful experience. When I checked the truck out I was sent the wrong code for the lockbox so I was unable to get the key until someone arrived. When I returned the truck the mobile app would not upload the pictures of the odometer or fuel gauge. I spent a half hour taking multiple pictures that the app would not take only to have customer service tell me to put the key in the drop box and they would note it on my account. The app should have uploaded the pictures if its not going to do that there should be a message on how to proceed without spending 30 minutes on hold for a representative to tell you what to do to avoid the $20 convenience fee. The mobile experience was awful I will not do it this way again it was very frustrating especially after spending the day moving and then dealing with this.

There was a pipe/sprinkler head going through it so no way could it be 6' of storage in height. The day I rented it there was another customer screaming and ranting with another customer I thought someone was going to be killed. I just shut my unit and left and never went back until I got what little I had out. Did not feel safe there. The hallway where my storage "closet" was housed was so dark you had no light inside the unit. Every time I went there the automatic entrance doors to the storage unit were kept open also so not very secure.

Jerry L. | First ImpressionsThe move out date was on the 15th not the 17th. I cleaned and moped the unit myself for the next occupant. The unit moved to from 1323 was dirty ams not well maintained. I have been trying to get one of the biggest units uhaul has instead of three individual ones and paying 400 a month but always told none is available that offer electricity with them. I have paid out alot of money to u haul using the storage and moving trucks and van without any comprise toward the cost of my units or on the trucks. I'm not especially happy with this company for the way things are done or handled and the customer goes above and beyond to try and accomplish what they need from this company. It should be this company doing it for the customer. Not enough employees to cover issues, customers always having to wait, phones not being answered hardly ever. No accomedations for what the customer is looking for. Unable to directly speak with someone from a corporate stance who can deal with the issues. Just overall problems that should be adressed and worked on. Staff is over worked and not allowed enough time to interact with the customer to full fill their needs and wants. Due to lack of people, guidance and training. These issues should be addressed asap as well as accomidating what the customer needs. Call backs from a message left at the uhaul on an issue would.be a good start.

My experience with everyone i have talked with at "this location" has been great however my initial booking was done through someone who answered the phone outside the location - customer service i guess..... and she booked me with something that wasn't available. Had I not called later and spoken with people on site i would have not had storage on moving day and would have never used uhaul again. Again, not the fault of the people at the location but maybe in the bigger uhaul network.

William M. | Overall ExperienceI'm very disappointed in my transaction earlier today. On 9/27 I called to see about moving from my 5x5 unit to a larger unit. Unfortunately, I can't find my notes to identify who I talked to, but my call log notes a 17min call. The gentleman that I was working w/ was very pleasant. I decided on a 10x10 units for $100 +tax per mo. He said he put the reservation in, and since I'd just paid the bill on the 5x5 unit, he said that I had til the end of the billing cycle to move out of the 5x5 and into the 10x10 otherwise I'd then have to pay for both units. Understood. I also inquired about prorating the bill for the 5x5 for the unused days from whatever day I ended up moving out. He said "Yep, we will prorate the unused days and credit it to the cost of the new unit" Awesome, Sounds great! FFwd to today..No unit reserved, no 10x10's available, I ended up with an 8x11 (that doesn't look like 8x11, but I'll be measuring to check), it requires 2 locks instead of 1, and the $10/$15 round lock we HAD to have for the 5x5 doesn't fit on these locks, so now that's useless. Then when I went to tell them that the 5x5 was cleaned out, I get a Move Out receipt for $0.00. When I inquired about proration, I was told, "U-haul doest do that, sorry." If I'd have know that, I wouldn't have busted my butt to swap units. Not that it's your problem, but I work 6.5 nights out of 7 per week and my son works days. This was the first time we were able to work out schedules to get this done. Only to have it turn into this. Hindsight is 20/20, if I hadn't been so focused that this moved needed to be done today, I'd have waited til a unit I wanted became available bc $60/mo and a crowded basement is better than $100/mo and still not being able to move everything in. So, I'm sure this isn't a big issue for y'all bc your team members weren't really the root of the issue, I just wanted someone to be aware. In the future customers should be given a reservation# and prorating the units when a customer is simply swapping units is just flat out good customer service. It's the 7th of the month and Im basically paying for a 5x5 unit I no longer have access to. Shame on a company like U-haul that takes advantage of their customers like that, especially in this day and age. Disappointed bc I expected better than that from them. Regards, Christina Bennington
