Nothing both pick up and drop off was wonderful as always. I do want to add that my drop off was with a new employee, who clearly has a disability, but he was WONDERFUL. I am so happy to know first off that you were willing to hire someone with a semi physical disability, but certainly mentally capable. Thank you. I am a Christian, I give and to see this man working as opposed to sucking of the system filled my heart with joy. It is much harder for him than all of us who take so much for granted, but he provided the same customer service, perhaps even kinder and more sincere, than others at the location. Honestly, they've all been remarkable except 1 and I complained. I've seen your manager out mowing the lawn. You have a great staff there. Give them all raise.. I rent cars, trucks.. I rent. Broken leaf spring in trailor. Started loading and the body sat on the tires. On hold for over 1.5 hours with road side assistance and no answer at local store. I would like to give some good feedback for Alan Smith at this location. It was looking like I wasn't going to be able to get a truck for my specific needs, and he worked with the schedule to make sure that I was squeezed into the hours for what I needed for a very complicated day of moving equipment. - Agent was not welcoming at all. Pretty rude. - I called a day before to make sure they had truck + trailer + blankets + dolly. Which they confirmed. When I arrived, they said no blankets ... after insisting, they finally gave me a few blankets. - They charged me for the dolly. But they forgot to put it in the truck !Thomas L.

We reserved and paid for two dollys, a handtruck and 12 blankets, and the location didn't have ANY when we arrived for pickup. This really messed up our move. Also the truck smelled TERRIBLE, like poop.GREGSONN P.
First van offered was out of alignment and dangerous to drive. When we mentioned this the staff would not Brlieve us. We were then overcharged by at least 50 miles and told it was impossible this was a mistake when we required about this. Awful experience. We first arrived on Wednesday and the truck they tried to give us had a broken mirror. They sent us to another location that was closed. We made a new reservation and when we picked up the truck the headlight was out.JULIEL C.

Gas & mileage was inaccurate Said full tank got in 3/4. Mileage was off by a lot. Truck smelled of smoke. Found cigarettes in it. Drivers window had 2 settings ALL THE WAY up or down (can't have anything in between) A/C didn't work !! No windshield washer fluid (again!! Do they even know what that stuff is? Or how to fill it?? Kinda sick of doing it for them) Jack was incomplete cause me to drive well off path and buy a jack. ðŸ¤¬ This is the 3rd (THIRD!.!.!) truck I've rented in the last 2 months and by far the absolute worstPATRICIAR D.
Was Overcharged by one day on rental despite returning within agreed timeframe. No support for EZ Pass (misinformed by U-Haul staff about legality of transferring transponder from passenger vehicle). U-Haul app crashes on my phone but demands input of info constantly, requiring me to call understaffed phone number (13 minute hold time). I could go on, but you could do better. Penske is more than worth the extra $$$.Alexander K.

5X8 trailer was clean, but door cable was off its spool and starting to tangle with the spring. I was unable to close it after loading it maybe â…" full, so I had to move most of the smaller items to the car interrior, and cable tie/ratchet strap the rest.Mitchell B.

These guys bent over backwards to give me a positive customer experience, after a dealership down the road screwed up. Every single one of the staff people working at this location was nice, friendly, and patient in dealing with all of the clients there. They are super awesome! The mobile app would not accept any photo from my android phone when returning the truck after hours. We had to call to return it the next morning. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app with no change. I also had to get my own lock for the rear door since I didn't get a key for the padlock chained to the back. I parked my truck in one of the parking spots and walked my key inside. The assistant inside told me to bring my truck up front and leave my key inside the truck. When I left the truck I instinctively locked the door and my keys in the car. When I went inside the people were extremely unhelpful saying â€œYou're going to have to find someone to fix thatâ€ and offering no assistance whatsoever. After speaking with AAA and learning they don't service uHaul I noticed the uHaul roadside assistance on the back of the truck. After waiting for half an hour on hold I went inside to talk to the assistant again and he recommended calling the police who came within 5 minutes and let me in. I'm appalled by the service I received at the store today. I waited for an hour trying to figure this situation out without any help from the assistants inside. It was as if they didn't even care about the predicament I was in. I'm surprised this is not a more regular occurrence with this protocol of leaving the keys in the truck. It was an honest and silly mistake on my part and it's happened to all of us at some point or another but I would expect the workers to offer some help when a situation like this arises.Andrew C.

I had a reservation, I called to make sure everything would go smooth, well it didnt, I originally was picking up at Roosters, they didnt have the truck I needed, then u haul set it up in Poughkeepsie, that wasn't any good, finally I was able to get it in Kingston, but the truck was old, I used about $100.00 in gas, the truck didnt have any power to it, had to pay more money to cross bridge now, This truck ended up costing me a lot more money ?? Is there anything you can do to give me a credit or some sort of a refund towards it ?? thank you Paul RizziPAUL R.
Reserved trailer was not available at time of pickup, requiring that I wait for correct trailer to be located and delivered. Sadly this is not the first time that we have received really poor service at U Haul locations. Our drop off experience was even worse!RALPH M.
The original vehicle assigned to me on the 24/7 check in app was not in the lot. I was then prompted with a key code for a box on site and was given access to keys for a vehicle that was not my reservation. It turns out, that vehicle was not checked in so there was co fusion for the site upon check in about why I had the vehicle. Before I took the van, I called 24/7 check in assistance and explained my situation. After checking with their supervisor, Tiffany told me it was OK to take the vehicle at this time and that a note/email would be sent to the Uhaul location. When I returned later that morning, the site had no record of the note/email and I had to explain how I got the keys to the vehicle I took. I examined what happened to the man at the desk. He was incredibly annoyed and uninterested in my experience. It was all figured out but the check in process of my uhaul experience for this rental was terrible. I have been renting from uhaul twice a week for a mo th bow and half the times the checking in process had been abysmal.BLAKE ALEXANDER H.

Make the process of requesting help on the road for repairs much much simpler and actually had people actually answer the phone quickly so people aren't frustrated while driving on the road with a broken vehicle or flat tire etc etc this part of my U-Haul experience was the singularly most dis satisfying and upsetting portion of my rental the staff at the local shop was fine but the system you've got is very messy slow you're responding not responsive and difficult to use I suggest you revampWilliam L.

Gate was never locked, fence is broken in several areas and anyone could get into the facility at any time. Staff is super friendly and helpful and with the pandemic storage units have been hard to come by. Uhaul did the job. Due to a last minute problem with the truck we were supposed to get, we ended up with a different one then planned. The truck we received was dirty in the back, and had only 1/4 of a tank of gas. When we returned the truck and explained this we received a bit of an attitude from the female employee. While we waited for the owner to finish a phone call he soon realized we were given a different truck then we were supposed to get. He ended up giving us a discount for the gas and cleaning. A good laugh was had by all once everything was explained. This owner knows how to take care of his customers and I would recommend this location to everyone. This facility had one large unit available according to their online inventory, I reserved it, and i paid for it upon arrival. Though there were only two free units left on the lot, the one I had reserved had mountains of garbage in it that had not yet been cleaned out, rendering moving in impossible. I did not move in to a uhaul storage facility, and am unlikely to try again. The staff arranged a storage unit reservation at another facility and that is the most I can say for my experience at Uhaul's storage facilities.Christina K. | First Impressions

Was not told till end of registration that I could not store my car. The paper work was reversed. But following Tuesday I received a late notice for my rental unit. Since the call to the facility was differed to a call center and I waited 40 minutes on two different occasions to no avail. I replied to the late email that I did not have any rental with U- haul Final received phone call from Kingston facility asking me if I had a storage unit at the Kingston location.
