They were extremely unorganized. There were 8 people working up front and not one of them knew what they were doing. Even if they are using a Uhaul app, it is extremely unprofessional to use personal cell phones to scan someones drivers license. It made me extremely uncomfortable. It took close to an hour to walk out of the door with our truck. And lastly, on the paper our gas tank was marked at 3/4 tank and when we got down the road we realized it only had 1/2 a tank. No one checked it before handing us the keys to the truck. We will not rent from this facility again.

Don't try to have the counter person sell me everything singe upcharge that I already declined during my online reservation. The guy went through insurance, blankets, boxes, dolly, moving assistance, and about 4 other things. Having to not only navigate your online web reservation and find the smaller blue text to decline everything once is bad enough, but having to waste my time in person on the same thing again makes me want to go elsewhere.

The very snarky lady at the counter was not very helpful and didnt even try to help me find the rental equipment I needed. However when I returned later Christian was extremely helpful and even hand corrected the contract when i pointed out that the mileage was higher on the odometer than the contract. Equipment was older but got us there.

Your people would not rent me the dolly I needed. They said it was new and they wouldn’t let it go out or town. I had to rent a smaller one and change cars with my granddaughter. Now I have to go back to Kennesaw and exchange cars with her. They also said they couldn’t look for another one local.

The location was fine. Dear Executives at Uhaul: Get more people to answer your phone at the call center. I know you are executives so it is hard for you to understand. Here's what you do. Go to your phone. Pick it up. Call the Uhaul service line and listen. Since you are an executive,. let's keep it simple. The steps: 1) Pick up phone 2) Dial the same number you have your customers call. 3) Wait 4) Wait 5) Wait 6) Wait 7) Wait 8) Wait 9) Wait 10) Wait Because you are an executive and only look at your spreadsheet numbers, step away from your computer and ask your spouse or friend. Is this what I want my customers to do? How will this effect my numbers on this spreadsheet? Will customers go elsewhere because they can't reach my company? The facility was great - the executives at corporate suck.

Charged for full extra day for truck and trailer despite having it there by the required time. Sent email requesting explanation and have yet to receive a response.....

I tried to call three times to let my rental facility know I would be about 30 minutes late returning the vehicle. Every time I called, I sat on hold for 15 minutes...and still no answer from a UHaul representative. When I got back to the rental facility, it took several minutes for someone to come check my vehicle back in. It seemed the entire staff of my preferred rental location was attending a “propane class” that afternoon, leaving only one person running the facility. I feel it’s important to always have enough active staff on hand to handle client/customer needs. This day, at my UHaul rental center, there were not enough people dedicated to handling those needs. And I’m sure I’m not the only customer who found it impossible to get in contact with that facility on that day. Just some food for thought.

I was very happy with the associate who helped me when I walked in. However, upon receiving my final bill I was double billed (billed for 2 days instead of 1). When dropping off my U-Haul truck the staff was walking out leaving for the evening. I spoke with the same gentleman that assisted me with obtaining the truck, and asked if I just need to drop the key in, and had to park the truck in the L parking spot due to the return line being long and the truck would block the entrance/exit. He advised all was fine with that and just drop the key in the box. Now my final bill says I returned the truck 2 days later than I did. This is terrible, and I am not happy at all about having to pay double.

I was not provided any paperwork for dropoff and told there wasn't any. I then received a phone call 2 days later asking where the trailer was which I informed them exact time and date of drop-off. To their credit, they were quickly able to resolve the issue and realize their mistake.

I rented a Uhaul van from this location last week. The gentleman at the front desk who helped me with my reservation never informed me that vans and trucks are only for local use. Therefore they have to be returned to the same location from which you purchased them. I told this gentleman this was my first time using Uhaul. I told him my plan was to use to Uhaul to move my belongings from my home in Kennesaw to my new apartment in Alpharetta. I even estimated my miles at about 30 (since that is about the amount of miles it takes to get to Alpharetta from Kennesaw ONE WAY). And the gentleman still never informed me that I needed to return this van to the Kennesaw location. I only rented the van for a few hours and when I went to return it to a Uhaul in Alpharetta they denied me and told me to call Kennesaw Uhaul. After countless phone calls and waiting on hold at least 15 minutes each call, I talked to a woman who finally explained to me that the van I rented MUST be returned to the Uhaul location in Kennesaw the one I rented it from by 6pm. At this point it was 4:45 on a Friday night and there was no way I was making it back to Kennesaw by 6pm or to my 5:30 shift at work for that matter. Explain this to people better. Especially first timers. I would have spent a few extra on the bigger truck if I was able to drop it in Alpharetta once finished. I spent more on the Uhaul than I wanted to and I had to uber back to work because of the inconvenience the lack of communication caused me.

I also am missing a few bags of Lowe’s supplies that was in back where electrical harness was installed-not able to get anyone on phone to see if it was taken out by mistaken.

Gas tank was supposed to have quarter tank of gas at pick-up, it only had 3/8 tank. For the price of gas, and as easy as providing the full quarter tank is, this is not good customer service. Other than this, the experience was very good.

Let the customer know that you will drop the reservation if you are not at Uhaul fir pickup within a certain window of time. Make sure people know they need a light adapter too.

The straps to hold down the trailer are a real pain because they tighten down in themselves causing the system to bind and be difficult to loosen. Would be vice to have another type of system. Also ability to adjust location of vehicle - very small vehicle puts lots of weight forward and it should be better balanced over axles.

I had reserved a truck at another location but was notified that the truck was only available at another store. When I arrived the truck was there but keys couldn't be found. I was given a different truck. We discovered that truck did not have the blankets that are usually in the trailer after we had left the site. In addition the straps we purchased at the store were defective. The store staff was excellent and handled everything very well.

Always been great. Jacob was very accommodating and concerned that I might not have put my new 4 tie down ratchet straps together properly. I was moving a large slippery canoe on a 100 mile roundtrip on 2 interstates and side street that would incur some heavy braking and need the canoe to be super secure. Hope the boss didn't mind the extra 5-10 minutes he spent with me for safety reasons. I'm also disabled so Jacob made sure I did practically nothing. Previously rented space here and was always happy. The whole staff is terrific. The Flynn Family, Marietta We think Jacob should be employee of the month. Counter guy also offered to help me with the tie downs as well, but had a line of customers to deal with so handed me off. Both are wonderful at customer service. Thanks again!

I originally thought I’d need the rental for 4 hours beginning at 4:59 pm but I needed more time. I was told that ANY extension would be charged as an additional day. I paid the 2nd charge to return the truck by 4:45 pm. So now, I’ve paid for 2 days for a 24 hr rental. I had to move so I had no choice. I returned the truck on time and, for unknown reasons, was told I had to pay for another day. So, I’ve paid for 3 days (approx $150) to rent a 10 ft truck for 24 hrs. This entire process seems very deceptive and due to my experience, I will not use U-Haul for my moving needs ever again because I was WAY overcharged for this transaction. This is bad business.

Everything went smoothly until returning the truck and they tried to charge us for 200 miles worth of driving when we only drove 30. Reason being they were unaware of the correct mileage on their own truck. I made this clear to them when returning the truck yet they still pursued charging us anyways. TRAILER WAS IN BAD SHAPE BUT IT WAS THE ONLY ONE THEY HAD SO WE TOOK A CHANCE. AFTER DRIVING FOR 20 MIN WE REALIZED HOW BAD IT WAS AND DROPPED IT OFF AT THE CLOSEST LOCATION. THEY COULND GET HOLD OF THE STORE THAT RENTED IT FOR US THEREFORE WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET A REFUND. WE WAITED OVER 1 HR FOR NOTHING.

My app't was for 10AM to have a hitch installed. When my car was still in the lot at 10:30 I asked why; they replied they had a wiring problem with another car. At 12:30 my car finally went in. At 3PM they said they needed a part from Honda. I have to go back Monday. They were courteous, but did not even apologize for not keeping me informed as the day went along, or for the 5 hours I waited. No one came forth to volunteer info even though it was obvious I was there waiting for 5 hours. It seems to me they; could have given the job an overview and seen there was a missing part and told me much closer to the beginning of the job. We are in the process of moving and have only one of our cars here until we finish moving. So it would have been much more helpful if I had been kept informed from the beginning, as well as during the job. It was as if I were invisible to them. They could have also suggested making another app't. The biggest thing was that it seemed as if there were no reason to apologize, as if it were nothing that I had been waiting most of the business day.

Our pick up experience was a two-and half hour tail chasing night mare. We ended going to three locations in Atlanta and driving all over!!! The final location was nice and clean and and the guys were ready for us. We arrived RIGHT at closing and they took care of us. But honestly, if this had been our first time using U-Haul (and not our 6th) we would not use your company again because of the run around.

I used a prepaid card and when I went to check my balance to pay movers all my money was gone. When I called there and told them and stated I would be by there they told me ok. When I got there they had locked door and I had to stand knocking for a while before they would even admit me. The staff was unprofessional and laughing no one knew anything even the manager after speaking to me on the phone he seemed uninformed. After speaking with me in the am it was finally established by credit card department instead if just the hundred dollar hold fee they will also hold a additional $200 dollars until vehicle is returned and payment received. The people in the store did not even know this and its sad because it could have saved me alot of stress and worry. The manager still acted smug and unaffected the next day. I use this location alot but this will be the last time due to the lack of information and unconcerned and laughing that the employees displayed . passing this on to social media about how unprofessional the staff was.??

The first van received had a tire warning light as did the second when I opted not to drive the first one. After getting in the second van another warning light came on that was to the message center that said tire pressure monitor needed service. When I was at the counter checking-in I asked to confirm whether or not a queen size bed would fit in the van as it had said on the website I was told " maybe if you turn it diagonally" then when I asked if that meant I could carry the queen mattress and the box spring I was told "I don't know". Later after I Got Loaded I got stuck and I don't know if that had anything to do with the tire malfunction. And then when the roadside service that you guys sent me arrived he then messed up the bumper. So my $19 a day turned into $100.

Two out of three computers at this location that are used to check out customers didn't seem to want to run properly. The attendant had to reset the computers multiple times before I was able to check out. I placed the rental online so as to not have a long wait. Cant blame the staff if the company won't update the computers. PLEASE throw out your PackerBell 256 and get a smart phone with a square reader it will work better. Have a good day!

The system would not accept my major credit card to finalize my rental. The only other card I had was a bank debit card, and that was also an issue to use to complete the order. I returned the van about 1 hour later, and there was a new issue. The associate had trouble refunding the difference between my deposit and rental charges. I spent more time at the Uhaul facility, then having the van.

Vehicle was returned to location and dropped back off at exact parking spot it was picked up from then dropped off keys in drop box. 2 days later was told that key was missing and was not in drop box. I used the mobile app to check in and check out. App was ok but how can one prove that key was dropped in key box with out being told pretty much your a liar. Then probably get charged for lost key?
